Nokia 2630 — rude behaviour of receptionist & manager

i visited Bright Spot, companys service centre situated at Parel Mumbai to obtain delivery of my handset at 16.45hrs.on 13/11/2008 .I patiently waited in queue for my turn to get its delivery . At 17.10hrs I was rudely informed by a person on the delivery counter that my handsets baterry needs to be changed. On my querry that who will replace the battery as I have purchased it just one month back. I was flatly told by him to contact the receptionist. On reaching the reception I was bluntly told by her as well as the manager whom I contcted on phone that accessories are replaced only upto 17.00hrs. When I querried if the service centre is open upto 18.30hrs how the accessories will be replaced only upto 17.00hrs . THIS RUDE BEHAVIOUR AND INCONSISTENT TIMINGS FOR REPLACEMENT OF ACCESSORIES IS CAUSING GREAT DAMAGE TO THE REPUTATION OF NOKIA THEY SEEMED TO BE UN PRETURBED.

I have taken a phone from Nokia Sale Counter and i chosen the nokia hand set as i found it good in past. but this time it is my worst experience with nokia as i have taken this phone it got problem in Two Months than i have givin it to Welcome Customer Care Centre, Delhi

centre i think 5 time after that and every time they keep my phone for 15 days and give it back to me after that in the same condition and says it has got repaired.. but still i am facing the same probs. if nokia is not able to sovle my problem then make it clear to me. and if anything you want to do in the regards of mine phone on that i have got warranty ... i would like to re-emberse my money or please do replace my phone.

Nokia — Rejection of service within warranty period

I had purchased a Nokia 3500 classic cell on 25th November 2007 from M/s “Hot Spot”, Mahalakshmi Layout, Bangalore – 560 086, Karnataka, India, vide bill No. [protected] with a warranty of one year by the company from date of purchase i.e. from 25.11.2007 till 24.11.2008, for the use of my son Master R Sharat.

The details of the phone are as follows:

During the month of June 2008 the cell encountered faulty display and was repaired by the M/s Nokia Care, Malleshwara, Bangalore – 560 003, taking a time period of around 12-15 days for repair. After repair, even though the display was working properly, the radio was not working and the audio clarity was very poor. As I don’t use the radio much and was busy, I could not give it for repair.

Once again during the last week of October 2008 the cell encountered faulty display without any liquid or physical damage.

I, once again gave it for repair to M/s Nokia care, Malleshwara, Bangalore – 560 003, on 31st October 2008 vide Job Sheet No.[protected]/081031/13. At that time they told that 2 screws were missing. On 5.11.2008 they called up stating that they are not going to repair because some parts are missing. When I went and enquired they said that the cell could not be repaired since warranty is void for the following reasons:

• Two screws missing
• MMC Jack missing
• Unable to open the panel
• Panel full scrachaerat (I am not able to understand the meaning of this)

1. When I received the cell during June 2008 from the authorized service center, i.e. M/s Nokia Care, I was not knowing that I am supposed to check, whether the service engineer has fixed all the screws properly or not by asking them to open and re-fix the entire equipment in front of me. Further they stated that the screws which were missing were belonging to display and IC attachment. How can lay man like me is expected to open the cell for repair? I confirm that I have not opened the cell nor gave the cell for repair to any person after taking delivery from the service center during June 2008. Hence I strongly suspect that M/s Nokia Care has not fixed the screws properly at the time of repair.
2. Is it the plan of your service centre, by not to fixing the screws properly, so that next time when the same instrument comes to repair with in the warranty period, they can say the warranty void and charge us for the repair?
3. On the same day when I went to Service Centre for taking delivery of my un-repaired mobile, i.e. on 5.11.2008, one more customer was also having trouble in getting his mobile repaired within warranty period, just like me.
4. While receiving the cell for repair, they handed over the memory card from the cell. They had observed that two screws were missing. But it is surprising why they had not noticed missing of MMC Jack, in spite of handing over the memory card to me, which is supposed to sit inside the MMC Jack?
5. While receiving the cell for repair, in front of my own eyes, they opened the panel and now they are writing that panel can not be opened. What type of engineers they are, to write such nonsense? Is it my problem if they can not open the panel or why they have not written the reason for not opening the panel?

Even though the cell is in within warranty period, they are not repairing it free of cost and they want to charge us.

Thus I would request you to take necessary actions immediately and kindly help me by providing proper service which you are assuring while selling the equipments.

I hope you will surely help me in repairing my cell without any charge and will not give me an opportunity to approach Consumer Forum.

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have recently purchased the above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems. The keypad does not work properply.It does not respond on pressing the key. No buttons work and phone cannot be received when a call is coming.I have given my phone in nokia care-Gorakhpur branch (U.P) and it's about 6 months and there is no response from that side.Every time i approach to nokia care they ask for some time.my phone has been regiven 3 times in nokia care under gaurantee period with the same problem.So i want you to replace my set as soon as possible because it's been a long time.Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

Nokia — Regarding the replacement of Nokia 3500 black colour set

Pathetic Services to already the customers of Nokia

I brought Nokia3500 black colour phone in november 2007 and since then i have given thrice that phone for repairing for the same problem.This time when it again went out of service i asked them for replacement as my phone is a brand new phone with a proper bill but Nokia Care centre flatly refused it and said for repairement.its been 6 months and my phone is still in Nokia Care Gorakhpur branch (U.P)
so please look forward to my problem and provide me the replaced set.
