Complaint Number: [protected] dated 01st May 2008 – 1 Ton Window Air-Conditioner – Fan Motor Not Working

I have registered a complaint with Samsung Customer Care –[protected] on 1st May 2008 that my AC is not working which I bought from Vasanth & Co. vide Invoice Number 582 dated 14th April 2005. After frequent follow up [3 times on 03rd May 2008] an engineer came on 05th May 2008 and advised that Fan Motor got spoiled and it has to be changed for which I have registered a complaint with the local franchise “Alpha Refrigeration - Chennai”. This local service centre said that they require 15 days to get spare part from Delhi.

After frequent follow up on 19th May 2008 and 22nd May 2008, the local service centre took the AC on 23rd May 2008 stating that it will be done in a couple of days. But till date the problem is not yet resolved and the Samsung Customer Care and Service Centre being the WORST care for customers will never come back or resolve the issue.

On 19th May 2008 when I called Samsung Customer Care they said they will escalate this issue and the customer care in-charge will get back to me regarding this issue. Till today no one has come up.


It is surprised that Fan motor being a common and normal spare part not being a critical component is not supplied by Samsung for the past 27 days. Having aged parents and 3 year old kid at home and managing this hot summer in Chennai is very difficult and the same have been informed to these people to solve the problem becomes useless.

Regarding the samsung air conditioner(split) is not working properly as complaint the customer care service center 3-4 times they check and says everything is ok but as per 1.5 tons its not cooling .firstly we bought window but service guy told better to buy split we bought but now its creating lots of trouble somtimes it blow lots of water and sometimes no cooling, please tell how to replace it as we are not satisfied with the service and the product .
i bought one samsung mobile it affected with display problem. So i planned to go samsung service center named Technocare Pody bazzar chennai. Their customer relationship is wrost. In that ofiice one TV is their, Employees watching TV and customers are waiting for long time
I bought my Samsung Split AC in April, 2008. This product has not given me satisfactory performance even during warranty period or outside the warranty period.
Within warranty period, gas leaked out, and most of the times in blistering summer I was continuously following up with your call centre to get repair done. Even my outdoor unit was replaced during warranty period.

This time, in 2009, AC is not cooling properly. I have registered my complaint at custmor care.

I am extremely nervous about the level of product quality Samsung has provided, along with the worst workmanship shown during repairs. I am really worried that I will have to spend most of this summer, again, in calling up Samsung Service Centres for one or another problem in this Samsung AC. In doing this, I am spending my precious time and energy; apart from phenomenal discomfort to my entire family due to non functioning of this product.

Your service records should tell you the entire history, if you have good service data management.

Please take a note of this and ensure that workmanship improves significantly so that repeat problems and customer harassment can be avoided.

I bought a Samsung 1.5 ton AC from Gurgaon, India on 10th May 09. And it was installed at my place on 11th May 09. However, nobody from Samsung came for demo. The cooling of this AC was ineffective. That’s why, I called at your call center and they told me that when engineer for demonstration will come he will resolve the problem of ineffective cooling of your AC. However, nobody came till 15th May 09. Then your engineer Subhash came he checked the AC and told that gas in the AC is not full that’s why, it’s cooling is not effective. He told me that dealer will fill the gas. I immediately called dealer in subhash’s presence. Dealer told me that gas is full if he will fill more gas then compressor would burst. They both were not sure why cooling is not effective. They told me that they will come again next day. But till now nobody has come.

I lodged a complaint at your call center. My complaint# is – [protected].
Till now I have made many calls at your call center but am getting no result.

Every time whenever I dial at your call center I just get one reply that we are doing follow up and it would take 48 hours to resolve my issue.

Tell me one thing that WOULD YOUR 48 HOURS COMPLETE IN NEXT 48 YEARS OR 48 CENTURIES.

Had I been aware that Samsung is such a big cheater and lier company I would have never been bought the product of your company.

I am really fed up of your bloody hell, 3rd grade and pathetic services.

You people have cheated me. First you sold me defective AC and because you are aware that your product is defective that’s why, you knowingly not giving me any resolution to my complaint.

Now, give me one valid reason that why, I should not file a case on you people.
I am telling you very clearly that if my complaint is not get resolved then I will file a case on you people in consumer court.

I have purchased One Samsung air conditioner (split) with model AS18UAXTL-A281PZES403725A.
Now I completed 8 months, from beginning it have problems, 2 times compressor replaced then many times compressor gas and oil leakage, really I am fed up and feel sad on my wrong (Samsung) selection. Why the company supplying such a poor quality components and materials and put the customer in big trouble and wasting the valuable time. In the very beginning I am facing these much problems, and afraid about the coming years. How I can relay on this product or it is better to replace this with a better brand available in market. Please instruct me.

Hi all, I had registered a complaint (No.[protected] dated 13/03/2010) for repairing my malfunctioning Samsung AC unit, which was installed just 10 months ago. (The product is still covered by warranty). The executive informed that the complaint would be attended by the service centre people within 24 working hours. I waited till 15th March evening. As i got no call from anyone, i again dialled the customer care number, and enquired what had gone wrong. The executive repeated that some higher authority would call me within 30 minutes. I waited for over 3 hours from there, but still none called. Since then, i have made more that 12 calls to them, the latest one today (19th March 2010) afternoon, and got the same reply (that their higher authority would be calling me within 30 minutes), but to my utter disappointment, nobody has even given a call so far!

Now, can i know what legal steps I can take against the irresponsible attitude of these people!

Samsung — Air condition problem & Very poor customer car service by Samsung

I bought SAMSUNG split Air conditioner on 28th March 2010 , it got immediate failure on 15th of April 2010. So I gave complaint to SAMSUNG Customer care on 16th Apr and one engineer turned up on 17th and he said compressor gas leakage problem (typically compressor problem). I have asked the reason of the failure he couldn't answer and he is not replied me properly. Also he is not properly replied my answer and also he doesn't know how to handle the customer. Then I again called continuously following customer care (shouted like anything) finally they took the compressor on 20th Apr.

I don't know how new A/C become failure and no one is doing the Quality check before dispatching to customer place or show room. Also customer care also very poor and no one is care about the customer.
My AC got repair last month and i called the samsung service center and they said coil is gone and 14 Mar 2010 they took my AC to their service center and almost 40 days over till now no reponse from the service center and the problem not yet resolved.

They say that no stock now and the coil should come from samsung company.. I want to know one thing.. Whether they are coming by walk from the company, taking so much days to send the coil or whether u guys reported about this problem to the company..

If i call customer care center they are saying your AC will come in one day.. whom should i believe??
I have launched a complaint through Ur help line no [protected] on approximately 17th of April regarding non working of my split A/C which was been attended by ur engineer on 21/4/2010 call no:[protected], receipt no:5635.I was been informed that there was a gas leek because of which the A/C was not working prpoerley .I have paid Rs1, 576 for the gas recharge after which the cooling was OK but a sudden noise along with water leak has started from the indoor unit i further complaint through Ur helpline no but my problem still exist i was simplee been told that this problem is not the part o[censored]r job & i should hire some private person who has some knowledge about installation of the unit .I would like to ask that what i am paying u ppl for u have charged me a labor charge of Rs441 just to tell me that this is not Ur job or u cant get the work done.i called up a private engineer who told me that the noise is because the compressor was not been vacuumed before the recharging of gas i am forwarding this mail so that my problem gets rectifier failing to which i would be bound to file a complaint in the consumer forum Dehradun.

i am Prasanna, i am working customer care executive in Samsung process in Telugu department..our employee id 76664...i had join that process in november2010...my personal problem only i given region letter this month 16th...but our team leader(Pradeepkumar)excepted that letter...Yesterday he asked again u gave new region letter...but i am not excepted...i am saying already i gave letter i am not excepted...but his talking wrongly...he do not know how to behavior ladies...i am also employee...but his talking rudely...finally I'm said i will left out..he said OK as Ur wish...i want solution this prob..i am working at last 4months..this is 5th month...this month 20days I'm working all sec samsung process...finally his behavior root...i m sorry..i m not excepted this type employees Ur providing...I'm facing troubles that only i send mail to samsung...i m waiting for ur reply...donot help anything i wil go further things..

It really pain getting services from Samsung for AC, I brought 1.5T split AC in July 2009, since than I am strugling to get it work.

Very first week its started viabration and noise, it took 3 months to Samsung service team to fix the the problem, by the time winter started.

Next year requested service again same story, technician did not do wet service, which lea water spilling in room, next month display stop working.

This year I have resigter complaint for service of my AC even after three week know body has turned up to service.

Guess I have spend about Rs 500 on calling the services center and senior managers. about about 15-20 hours of time in last three years

Kindly treat this as a formal complaint about the poor services rendered by your company on my complaint which i registered on 17-April-2011 and the complaint no is:- [protected]. The service has not met with our expectations.

All our earlier complaints have fallen on deaf ears and we are left with no recourse but to lodge a formal complaint with you.

We are disappointed because your service has not performed as it should and (state the problem by giving as much detail as possible).

I agree 100% with all the complaintants about the samsung service and products. I'm in the United States and our samsung products don't last very long either (specially under warranty). It takes 2-3 weeks to have it fixed or replaced. I spend good money on samsung products and expect to have it last at least 5 years but they don't. I will no longer buy any samsung products in the future plus I will inform all my family and friends to do the same.
I too agree that the Samsung service is worst, Do Not Ever Buy Samsung Products, Alfa Engineering, Authorized service centre a big no no, I have a similar complaint, I have registred a complaint with Samsung CUstomer care vide ref#[protected] on 16/02/2012, for my dismay the engineer took 5 days to visit our house, after checking it he said he need to take the outer unit of the split A/C to workshop, for which he needs a ladder, which they dont have, How can a authorized service centre which is picking up the A/c for repairs on a daily basis expect the customer to have a ladder, or do they mean we have to buy a ladder along with the A/c or what ?

Samsung AC — REPLACEMENT

PURCHASE AIR-CONDITION MACHINE NUMBER AS125BGC AT THE COST OF RS-27000(BILL NUMBER BTC-2184, FROM KHOSHLA ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. 33/1B , B.T.ROAD, KOLKATA-700002.ON 25TH MARCH,2012. BUT TILL DATE MACHINE IS NOT WORKING . SERVICE CENTER AND THE DEALER PEOPLE MR. PRITOM, MR. NANDA, MR. ARUP IS NOT CO-OPERATING WITH US. THEY ARE PRESSURING US TO HANDED OVER THE MACHINE TO THEM. PLEASE REPLACE ME THE NEW MACHINE AGAINST THE OLD OND ONE AND OBLIGE. OTHER WISE I HAVE TO THE LEGAL STEPS THROUGH THE CONSUMER FORUM.

Samsung — REPLACEMENT OF AIR CONDITIONER

This is with past reference to my mail dated 28 Jun 2011 and 28 Jun 2012. I had purchased split Air Conditioner model no 18 NBXTL from Samsung company on 08 May 2009, after 9 months of the purchase the unit got multiple malfunctioning defects as it was not installed properly by untrained technicians and defect in the indoor unit, by which it was repaired by the company personnel twice in the month of May 2010 and Jul 2011. Now the unit got trouble in the first week of June this year and a complaint was lodged in the customer care with complaint no-[protected]. The Technician visited and informed that the gas was again leaked out due to improper filling of gas and the cooling coil got cracked due to improper installation of the unit and said that it would cost Rs 6000/- to get it repaired. After that this matter was discussed by me with ASM of Hyderabad Mr Vikas (mob No-[protected]) and he informed that only a discount of Rs 1500/- will be given as the gas was leaked due to improper filling by technician. I then informed him to take up the matter to higher concerned authorities for the replacement of the unit with a new model as such it was having major manufacture defects since the year of purchase, for which he asked me to call after two days. Again after two days when i called up Mr vikas about the replacement of the unit with a new one he informed that he will give full 100 percent discount on repair of the unit and only transportation charges to be bared by the customer as it was complete fault by the technician who has repaired the unit previously. When i again insisted that i have requested for the change of the entire unit with a new one but not for the repair of the existing one, he replied in a very arrogant manner that he cannot change the unit and further he is not responsible for the complaint any more.
Now the company to note that such type of behaviour by the ASM of Hyderabad branch is not expected for the reputation of the company and the issue may be resolved at the earliest by the replacement of the unit with a new one, as i am highly dissatisfied with the performance of the unit and the harassment by the management of Hyderabad branch.

      i have bought new sgh E 840, but after 20 days, a black line was appearing after starting camera. so i send it to customer care,
      They told me that your camera should b replaced. so we have send a request to send a new camera.But after 20 days customer care office(Amravati) replied that camera is still not received. I m using it without camera . So pay attention to my problem and please take immidiate action.

          I bought color television model # WS32Z30HEAX S/L # AO3231DY900010L on 27/11/2005 and paid Rs. 61000/- with absolute trust that I have made a right choice over brands like Sony of paying so much for a color television which will perform accordingly, but to my surprise with in 5 months of purchase the defect starts showing in the TV. I am listing down the sequence of complaints and defects occurred during all these years:-

          • Complaint # [protected] (5/05/2006)- Horizontal white lines coming on screen and when switched off a white spot comes on the center of the screen - Complaint attended by Samsung engg. Mr. Mohd. Hakim who told me that the TV is having a defective picture tube and need to be replaced. No action taken by Samsung after that
          • Complaint # [protected] (14/07/2006)- Called up again and the case was shifted to Samsung service engg. Mr. george who after analyzing the TV confirmed that its not a problem of Picture tube but the memory of the TV need to be readjusted. He reprogrammed and adjusted the TV.
          • But with in few days the problem of brightness getting low when any display or subtitles occurs on screen & thereafter the picture getting totally dark even if the brightness level is 100%. Mr. Hakim Came and readjusted the TV on the same complaint #
          • Complaint # [protected] (18/12/2007)- The TV when start is getting off an on by its own. No body turned up from samsung to address the issue
          • Complaint # [protected] (22/12/2007) - Your engg. Turned up and told that TV need to sent to service station. No body turned up to pick the TV
          • Complaint # [protected] (23/12/2007) - Called again for status as nobody turned . On 24th December 2007 the TV was taken to service station for repair under claim # 7248501.
          • I received a call from Samsung service station that my TV has been repaired and will be sent to my house but I said No as I wanted to see the performance prior dispatch. I went to service station in Okhla Phase 1 but to my surprise the Picture quality was worse then before, there were color block on the right hand side of the screen & picture got totally tilted on right side. I had a word with Mr. Rizvi who was trying to convince me that this are the feature of a 32" color television & said that the TV will be repaired by a product specialist . The TV was sent back without taking any consent from me without any improvements.
          • I called up again on the same complaint # and I was told Mr. G Ramesh - product specialist will come and rectify all the problems. Mr. G Ramesh came and tried to rectify the issue but was not able to manage any. finally the decision was taken to take the TV back to service station on 15/03/2008 under claim # 7931194.
          • I went to check the TV when I was informed after 2 weeks that it has been totally repaired & all the problems have been solved but again I was disappointed to see that all the problems which were explained and understood by Mr. Ramesh still existed. Mr. Ramesh assured me that all the problems will be rectified.
          • My TV was returned on 14/04/2008 without any improvements & additional problems along with a extended Warranty card from Samsung in it, the color is blocked on right hand side and center of the screen, the picture is getting tilted towards right hand side, the brightness gets low when any display comes on screen & picture is dark even if the brightness level is on 100%. The picture quality has gone from poor to worse.
          • Complaint # [protected] (15/04/2008)- I called up again to address my concern on the problem and to the response of my call Samsung Engg. Mr. Gurmeet turned up to inspect the TV and advised me that there is nothing that can be done to rectify the problem that are there in the TV set.
          From 15th of May I have calling Samsung call center requesting them to either replace the defective TV or give me the refund for the same but my call have gone in vain as I have heard nothing from Samsung thereafter. each time I am calling I have been told that your TV is old and there nothing that Samsung can do about it & each time I was told somebody from concerned department will call but I am still waiting. I am wondering now if that was the case then why these manufacturing defects were not taken care of when my TV was still in warranty period and why I was given a extended warranty card (Enclosing the copy of the same) from Samsung!!

          I am totally disappointed with the way Samsung customer care has handled my concern so irresponsibly

            In the first week of April, we realised that our AC was not working properly. I called up the customer call centre and lodged a complaint and the very next a service engineer came and told me that there was some problem with the fan. From then on in the last two months I have made atleast twenty phone calls to the call centre and another dozen to the Service Centre and few call to their Delhi Customer Care head but till today they have not been able to fix my AC. For the last 15 days the AC is in the service centre and every time I call up they tell me that it would be delivered day after tomorrow, only thing is that they never deliver. Anybody who reads this, I would strongly recommend, never buy a Samsung product.

            This is the email which I wrote to support.[protected]@samsung.com --- You can understand the quality of service and the product.

            This is to bring to your immediate notice that the quality of the service and SLAs of Samsung is deteriorating. This is regarding the complaint # [protected] for my 1.5 ton window AC which is pending for the last 6 working days and still no action has been taken on this ticket. I usually have to call the customer service centre 4 times on a daily basis to check the progress, but i get the same reply they are escalating it and please wait for today.

            I am not sure, still after writing this email any action would be taken on this ticket or not but one thing I have realised and making other ppl realise that Samsung is not the product to go for in electronics. I have had a very bad experience with the product in all respects. Currently I am owning 3 products of Samsung and have got problem(s) in all of them.

            The Samsung AC which I am owning has given me enough trouble from the day I bought it, every now and then there is gas leakage. I have been told that this particular model has been stopped because of this particular problem. Now tell me who is to be blamed, is it my fault that i trusted on this so called world class brand name "SAMSUNG". On top of it the services are really really bad. Hoping that this email do not fall on blind eyes and deaf ears. Please wake now before it is too late. Believe me Samsung's foot print in the country will take a beating if you continue to provide products and on top of it services like this. Your services are thoughroughly THIRD CLASS and PATHETIC.

            Please see to it if something can be done in this regard, if you can not solve the problem on a permanent basis, atleast get the AC repaired, send your engineers on time, meet your SLAs

            Hoping to get a quick resolution and also hoping that this mail is being read by somebody who can take a call responsibly.
            I fully endorse the comment above. I made the mistake of buying a Samsung ac. Since 07 Apr ave called for service as it is not cooling but the service guys are yet to come. The contact number that the Samsung call center gives for the service center "does not exist"!! Next time I'll buy LG / Voltas or any other brand

              WE HAD PURCHASED ONE WINDOW A/C (Model- SAM 18OKA) on 18.06.2007 FROM SAMSUNG DEALER Great Eastern Trading Co' KOLKATA).THEIR Inv No - C 1699 Dt-18.06.2007.OTHEY INSTAL THAT AC at our Office

              FROM the starting it was giving problems. Inspite of our repeated request nobody attended our call to check it. Now at this summer, THAT AC IS NOT WORKING . WE COMPLAINT THE DEALER, finally to the toll free number & got the docket No- [protected], Dt-17.05.2008. After 3 days SAMSUNG ENGINER VISIT, CHEKED THROUGHLY AND CONFIRMED THAT WE WILL CHANGE THE COMPRESSER within THREE DAYS . BUT TILL DATE THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME ANY SATISFACTORY REPLY. PLEASE TELL US WHAT CAN I DO?

                i purchased samsung's best 29" tv few yrs ago but it played for not more than 7 yrs and now it didn't work any more. we repaired it at ur service centre too n spent a lot of money onto it but all in vain.
                i am really fed up of this company products n regret for why i purchased it? now if even after purchasing such luxury products one does not get satisfaction than it's a sheer waste. so now onwards i feel not to suggest anyone to purchase your products. now on a part of genuinity do something on this part..either resume it or get it replaced ..did lot of complaints priorly but nothing gets activated. so do work on it now?

                  NO SERVICING
                  Split AC is not functioning in peak summer and the servicing is very poor. My maclhine is out of order since 20 days and the same was informed to the dealer for servicing. Even now the machine is out of order. I contacted the help line also. The response from help line is pathetic. They asked me to register compliant at samsung support. The web site is asking for AC machine no. etc. I cant get on to the top of machine to see the product details like machine no etc. My advice to fellow customers is not to go for samsung AC machines. I have 10 splits AC machines in my home and organisation and 40% of them are under service at any time.

                  I purchased samsung split ac 1.0 ton 0n 27.05.2009 from faiz & co. Adambakkam, chennai-88, ph no.[protected]. Within 9 months twice gas has leaked and there is no cooling at all. Service engineer visited on 16.04.2010 after 2 days and told that some other service people will visit for gas filling. I am patioanately waiting for the same to happen even after 4 days of booking my complain no. [protected] ! Can somebody responsible help me !

That I had been requesting its Dealer as well as to the Companies Service Centre for the last five days regularly to give me operation of machine and installation the machine in my house so that I am able to use the machine. I am sorry to say that inspite of several phone calls and visit to the dealer and the service centre but no one bothered to come to my house No.1653 Sector 23-B, Chandigarh, India. I am compelled to lodge this complaint to you because I am feeling harrassed.

                      i purchased samsung refrigerator model no:RA-18TVSS1, on 21/1/2008.From PCH-e-ZONE, near NMDC, masab tank road, hyderabad-28, india.after 2 months it started giving troubling in coolling section. I have been calling the toll free number several times since the last 20 days, but they did not showed any interest.I made more than 15 calls from yesterday and today and I spoke to different people including Amit, Devender, Anitha, Pooja, Venkatesh and Sumith sharma(supervisor) and every time they kept saying that they will send their exeucutives.But from 20 days no one came. please help us!!!

                      I purchased Samsung refrigerator model no. RA18TVSS1 for Rs.10K from PCH-e-ZONE, Masab tank road, Humyun Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The very first month the referigerator started making some noice whenever it was opened and water was not at all cooling. I aked the dealer to look into the same but the concerned person Mr. Y.S. Rajshekar and many others. But they didn't pay any attention then I called up Samsung service center number 30308282 and registered the compliant. Twice their engineer has come and has not been able to rectify the problem and the people in their service team are not at all responding to the calls made and they are saying to keep patience since Samsung service is free of cost. Very pathetic service from such a big conglomerate.

                      Please do something..

                        I had purchased a Samsung 1.5 ton window AC on 21st Dec 2006. The AC was working fine for 8 months and the there was a power problem. I had called up the customer care and they immediately sent a service engineer and the A/C was up and running with in 10 days. I was very happy and felt that Samsung really cares for their customers. But I was wrong. I now have another power problem with the A/C where the Display screen flickers and my A/C does not come-up. This problem happened on Apr 22nd. I called up Samsung customer care and they sent a person without booking an appointment with me. Unfortunatley I was not at home. Since then I had called them more that 10 times and they have never sent me a service engineer. When I get frustrated over the phone the guys over there just cut the call. I now feel that the 18, 000 odd bucks that I spent on the A/C has gone waste and I have a thought creeping in my mind that my A/C will never ever be fixed. The Samung Customer care guys are totally irresponsible and they don't care about the customers feelings. I just want to escalate this to the senior management of Samsung India. But I'm unable to find any number. Can sombody help me?

                        We are regularly contacted with our customntrer care centre at Trissure in kerala.which address mentioned here, PRIME SERVICES, TRISSURE-22, PH:[protected].TODAY we got some misbehaviour from this service centre.one of engineer told me, `you dont have commonsence`.After repaire i just told them please take one print out from Complaint printer, they told there no engineer, All are gone out.Why?is it samsung service centre or market? Now we are not getting print out from particular printer.what i should do?
                        Samsung services are very ridiculous. Even Samsung engineers working at service centres are not ablle to detect the faults in their goods.Even Samsung products are not worth purchasing, it is not any misconception about this low standard brand namely Samsung.It is only a name but actually they are not providing satisfaction to their customers.Spending money on Samsung is Called foolishness.People who think Samsung is a genuine brand are living in a "fool's paradise". So one shoud apply his/her mind while purchasing a electronic good.I recommend every buyer to go for Panasonic, Philips, and Sony these brands are worth.

                        I had purchased a Samsung 1.5 ton split AC in April last year. After that I was able to run it only for 6 days because of the pathetic condition of the product. It has got damaged 3 times within 2 months of time. Again on 3rd April, when I was trying to run it for the first time in this year, the same problem has happened and it did not run. I have made a complain on the very same day. The complain no is [protected]. After that I have received a call on Saturday/Sunday and Monday saying that somebody will come and check my AC. Though they had promised but nobody came to check my AC. I have followed it up like anything on those three days. Then one person has turned up after 3 days and took the mc with him saying that they will repair and fix it on 10th April. Today at 6 PM when I have contacted them they have started saying that nothing has been done and not sure about when they can fix it up.
                        No 1, the product is extremely horrible which is not able to run consecutively even for a week. No 2, the service is extremely pathetic along with horrible bad behaviours from the service executives. The no I have tried is 44041100.
                        It seems like the entire management is in a hybernation mode and their objective is to cheat the general public. Please refrain from buying this.

But I see you are very correct. 5 days spent since my 1.5 t AC gone down & no guy turned up. They are giving excuses of silly type. Now I think why I didnt chose Volta or LG.

                          Sir,
                          I bought Samsung Split A/c on 03/28/08 though a dealer in - Challamani & Co at Tambaram, Chennai. The A/c was intalled on the next day ie on 03/29/08 and it was running perfectly for three days. On 04/02/08 the when i switcehd on the A/c there was not Cooling at all. Then immedialtely i complained to the Samsung Toll free Numder and then one of the Service Engineer came to check the Machine and he said the instatllation was not done properly and all gas has leaked out. Then i asked the dealer to fill the Gas as the installation was done by the Dealer. In the meantine after two days another service engineer came and checekd on the same and said there is a crack in the cooling coil of the Indoor unit and they would rectify the same and bring it and so they took it away saying it woould be installed in three days and aftre three days they said it has a major fault and cannot be repaired and they have to replace thc cooling coil. As it was only four days old i asked for a replacement of the complete A/c set both indoor and out door unit. They asked me for the purchase bill, which i produced and it took them 15 days to bring me new set which was installed on 12/05/08 and this time the installation was done by the samsung people. On the same day there was not colling and so i lodged a complaint again and a service engineer came to check and said to my surprise that the Gas has leaked out again due to installation problem. So they said they would make arragments to refill the same. And they did come on 19/05/08 and they now said the outdoor unit had problem ( Chocekdout) no colling again. This time they have removed my outdoor unit for repair.. I donot know an International Branded company selling or despatching products to the market like this i think this kind of things samsung can do ONLY in INDIA and NOT in any other Country were they do business.. They have taken the consumers for ride or granted..

                          The most beauty is i have window A/c unit which is local assembeled unit and it is running perfectly for the past four years..
                          I am really ashamed of my self and ourself on the crace for Foreign products.. This would be my lasy purchase from SAMSUNG and would never ever recommend any body for there product.

                          My complaint no is [protected] made on 3rd October 2009.No one attended on monday.I aws told that engineer will attend on tuesday before 11 AM. I am writing tu you after 3 PM & so far no one has attended.
                          I am wondering if have made a mistake of buying most of my products from Samsung(A/C,Fridge,TV,LCD & Washing Machine) if such is the service quality.

                              I purchased a Samsung refrigerator through their distributors Arcee Electronics, Sector 17 Vashi on 3rd May 2008. There was an undue delay in delivery and unprofessional customer response from the salesman concerned. Further when the frig. was delivered, the frosting and airway controls were not properly set and the frig. was over-frosting. This was discovered by the Samsung service person who fortunately visited us 7 days after delivery. The salesman from Arcee says that we are ' operating in India', not abroad and that the duty to check basic things like controls etc on delivery is the company's not the distributors. Distributors job is only to deliver (though they are front-line to the customer). He further did not see the need to sign and date the warranty card and I had to pressurise him into doing it. I tried my best through the call centre to reach Samsung so they could educate the distributor, but totally failed as the call centre people could just not understand me and it was a nightmarish experience dealing with them. Also nobody answers the landline of the call centre.

                              Would Samsung please do role-clarification with Arcee Electronics ?

                                I purchased a samsung split ac last year on March 2007 from RK electronics, ameerpet, hyderabad, with the compressor having a warranty of 5 years(60 months). The compressor stopped working on 15th may 2008. I called the customer service help desk on 16th may 2008 but no one sent a technician to check. Ultimately on 19th May 2008 after 'n' number of calls to cust care, i called the showroom and requested them to send a technician asap. They sent someone in the evening and he informed that he is a technician for installation not for replacement and we need to contact the cust care help desk for replacement. I have made many calls till now but no one is assuring me of replacing the compressor.

                                    I have purchased Samsung Referigerator in 2002.Its in a good working condition.Unfortunately the bottel rack( fiber made) has broken.
                                    From last 3 months I am approaching them to replace it.My complaint # to the customer care is " [protected]". They are saying that this Model has dropped so the parts are not available.

                                    Please advise me what should I do .My referigerator is working absoultely fine -Just because of "Bottel Racks" I can use that option.

                                      I have purchased SAMSUNG A.C. IN JUNE last year from SAMSUNG SHOW ROOM, Judges Bungalows Crossroads, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015. Made a downpayment of 60% and the rest Dealer Mr Mayank Patel [protected] has organised through Citifinance having received from post dated cheques. Out of 8 cheques, 6 cheques have been cleared and to my surprise, the other two cheques have not been presented even to the Bank even after a gap of 3 months. Lodged complaint with support.[protected]@samsung.com - hopeless but to just acknowledge automtically by computer registering of complaint - no action to solve the problem. After repeated approach, Mr Mayank Patel tells me of loss of two cheques issued by me at Citifinance end. Even then as a responsible citizen, asked him to provide a letter communication to the effect so that I issue fresh cheques for two months instalments. Till date no action either from the Dealer or from Samsung Consumer department in Dellhi as neither their MD nor SALES MANAGER has time to look to consumer problems where is the question of solution to a consumer. This is the approach to a bonafide and genuine consumer in India from Reputed MNCs even.

                                      I purchased a samsung window ac on April 13, 2008 from SAMSUNG PLAZA, SADAR BAZAR, AGRA. the cooling is not proper. I complained customer service help desk but they sent no one a technician to check. i called the showroom and requested them to send a technician. They did not sent someone. and he informed that he is a technician for installation not for replacement and we need to contact the cust care help desk for replacement.                                       I logged call 1 month back for servicing of my AC and have sent mail many time but no one came from Samsung. The service is very very bad and i have decided not to buy any other samsung produce. I have sent them many mails but no response. Not sure if senior management is sleeping in the company of what?

                                        This mail comes to you from a very disgruntled SAMSUNG customer who is currently going through the feeling of `having got conned' into buying a product that claimed to be superior in quality.

                                        This refers to the SAMSUNG 42 E7SX - XTL plasma that I purchased 22 months ago from my regular dealer . Its serial no is AEKB31IL400048H.

                                        At the time of purchase, I had gone through the brochures of various plasmas and saw that Samsung claimed that with new technology their panel's life was 60, 000 hours as opposed to the normal 40, 000 hours that other panels had. Since I was quite happy with the picture quality and trusted the SAMSUNG brand name, I bought the same, emptying my pockets of Rs. 1, 20, 000/-.

                                        After a year and ten months o[censored]sing it at an average of 3 hrs every evening and taking great care of the Plasma (protecting from dust by always keeping windows shut and from moisture), I discovered a single black line about 4 inches from the bottom of the screen. So I contacted my `Samsung Home Doctor' and he came home to check the set. He told me either it was a PCB problem or a panel problem. After a few days, he got the PCB, opened the set, replaced the PCB and checked the set again, the line was still there. He told me that `the panel had failed'. When I asked him what that meant, he said that there was no way to correct the line and that I would need to replace the entire panel at a cost of approx Rs.40, 000/-. Also, since the set had completed a year, it was no longer under warranty so I would have to pay for it.

                                        You can imagine my shock at hearing this. Being a movie buff, I had used all my resources to buy this supposedly `longer lasting PDP' whose panel had a life of 60, 000 hrs and now it had gone Kaput in just 2000 hrs ! And I could do nothing since it was out of warranty.

                                        I felt HELPLESS and CHEATED . CONNED perhaps, is the right word.

                                        For the Samsung AC, there is a 1 yr warranty, but the compressor (the heart of the AC) has a 5 yr warranty. However, for the panel (the heart of the PDP), there is no extended warranty. Isn't that great ? I think that it is `convenient' and they do not offer any such thing because you know that it will not last long.

                                        Thing is, I have a product now that has been manufactured by SAMSUNG that has `not even come close' to what it claimed to be in terms of performance and I feel that I have been `palmed off' a sub –standard product at a whopping cost of Rs. 1.2 lakhs which is a lot of money for me.

                                        It’s a week now since I have mailed them at support.[protected]@samsung.com and the service in charge but other than a `we will get back to you’, there has been no reply.

                                        First you get frustrated with the product and now the service.

                                        This is SAMSUNG for you.
