[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Privilege circle program - new way to cheat customer

In August 2008 I got call from plat5 on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer. They promised me whatever told to me will be delivered within 25 days of registration. I trusted them because they assured me this offer is from SBI. After one week I realized that I have been traped by plat5. I contacted them to cancel my membership, they denied it by saying that it cannot be cancelled, though according to term and conditions I could cancel offer if I told them before making payment to SBI cards. I haven't received anything from them and helpline numbers never connect. No reponse to email either. Could somebody please tell me how can I take legal action against SBI cards and plat5 consulatancy.

SBI Credit Card — false recovery

Dear sir/Madam

I have settled my credit cards due way back in the year 2007 with sum of Rs. 70,000/-,after 3yrs some local recovery agency is calling up at my home ,office and on my cell continuously,actually i have missed placed settlement letter but i can prove payment done through my icici bank statements
Due this ,i m not able to concentrate on my job request you please support me on this

similar type of fraud i have been experiencing.became member of SBI credit card-previelage circle programm.i had send filled voucher one n'half month back and according 2 t n' c they r supposed 2 contact me with in 15 days.they had neither contact me nor think about my applicatn.thats why i felt cheated.sbi authority must interfere in this all nonsense and should stop frauding.

sbi privilege circle program — No response after payment

SBI Card privilage circle member announced an offer from DM-HERITAGE about the accomadation at heritage places and flight voucher for any one destination. I have also applied for the same in time but i have not received any reply from them. I think both State Bank of India and Heritage holidays cheated me. It is not fare for a reputated bank like SBI. So please take immediate steps to refund the amount as quick as possible.

SBI Credit Card — privilege circle programme

sbi contacted for choosing me as privilege member and cheat by hidden things like hotel stay and air travels, in telecon no time limit of applying is there, they have never told me about destinations name where they have got facility to stay and from where flight is available. I am resident of indore but list of air port indore is not there. There way is just to cheat people by this type of activity. When I contacted them to extend date of applying they have refused and I have to pay rs. 6100/- app. useless

your staff talked to me over my mobile [protected] on 26th May'10 and tried to convince me the benefits coming through being a SBI platinum card holder by joining the privilege circle offered by heritage. He explained me the benefits e.g. polo watch, 500 reward points, one side one person's base air fare on pre-decided route and 2nights/3days hotel stay. This "heritage sent me the polo watch. later on I sent the duly filled in form for hotel stay in Sept'10 for journey during Nov'10. so far I have not received anything about it. I had to cancel my ticket too. but the money Rs.6067 was deducted through SBI platinum card by your staff on 28th May'10 as privillege circle fee.

to me it appears that SBI card is working in connivance with such fraud company or operators and their customers in distress. After going through comments I am finding that several SBI caed holders have been cheated by this actions.

Another thing is that you have a very bad system of operating over the phone only. Donot try to take a pain to send the same through e-amil. Ther is some prima faci case in this.

I request you to look into it and return the money paid to you. After all SBI card has deducted this amount. You have the entire responsibility of protecting your customers.

SBI card service has of late deteriorated much and has become a looter through back door.

I too have been cheated by SBI card privilege circle offer. If I look at the number of complaints listed here and other forums, it appears that SBI has swindled its customers in a big way. It has been done so professionally that, now onwards, I will hesitate to get associated with SBI in any way. Is there anybody who can take some legal action against them.
Today I got call Heritage pvt ltd on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege customer and convinced me to accept this offer. They have taken my number saying that they are confirming.from SBI. After 5 minutes I got sms that my account is debitted by Rs4545.00.When I called back in the same number it shows wrong number.I tried toll free number of SBI but my number deliberately not connected.. . Could somebody please tell me how can I take legal action against SBI cards .

sbi card holder privilege circle program — Cancellation of Membership

I got a call from sbi card saying you have been selected the winner from sbi card. They asked me to create some formalties on line. They created the OTP. The call received from the following numbers [protected], [protected] on 19 Apr 11. and [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected] on 20 Apr 11. sbi card holder previliege circle program brought me with plat5 consultancy private limited created a program for a welcome gesture in the said program and 500 reward points agreed to credit in the credit card statement and informed three packages and deducted 6180/- for previliege circle fee New Delhi through credit card Dt.20 Apr 11. In this regard i write many mails to [protected]@plat5.com that I am not interested to take the advantage and hence cancel the program. Further i was not informed writtenly to deduct the 6180/- as a huge amount for this.Hence please cancel the amount already deducted and credited to my credit card account immediately and inform the latest statement for taking further necessary action. I did not received any kit.
Good response. I may get my money back

I recived call from your sbi credit card assistant in month of feb’07 related single time settlement offer up to 20 feb’07 and I had dropped my due payment by cheque no:- 167527(idbi bank ) on 19 feb’07
Well in advance but due to your collection method problem it was cleared on 22 Feb ’07 (2685 rs) favorer to sbi. After last 3 years no any communication from your side regarding due payment
But now again I received phone call as well as due payment letter about 12179 rs
so it is my humble requested you, as I already paid all the amount on time, please close my account as same

I am surprised at the number of complaints against the SBI Privilege Program. Had i gone through these earlier I would not have been duped by these deceptive people. In fact I never expected SBI to indulge in such fraudulent activities. Their customer care rep. made such good offers that for once I felt that I should give a try and if not satisfied I could always cancel the offer. But after seeing the products I realised that they are of no use to me and on contacting them they outrightly said that the offer cannot be cancelled. But i do remember distinctly that they had said so while making the offer. I have now paid the amount and has also send an email to them to resolve the matter. But I dont know how to get redressal for my grievance. Please could any of you tell me whether any progress has been made in the matter and if not what further course of action they are planning to take.

SBI Credit Card — incomplete service and taking benefit of terms and condition

Yesterday I made a request for Balance transfer. Today I received a call from your executive. He said to me have of Rs 7500 as balance transfer against for HSBC credit card. After confirming this by me, he got to know me that any earlier outstanding also will be considered as interest able by 3.3% monthly!!!
Why did he not tell be before giving the balance transfer. On my credit card there is total outstanding of something like of Rs 57000. That means on this amount I will pay interest of 3.3%!!!. he should have told me this terms before giving balance transfer. It is totally fraud.
One takes balance transfer paying to other banks, avoiding interest charges. And you guys, giving me this type of service.
Reverse my balance transfer, otherwise I will take legal action regarding the same. You can listen audio recording, if you have, otherwise I arrange.
