I too have purchased some trees. After retirement, I went to the location and told that the firm has wound up. I strongly feel that, if a collective complaint is submitted to The Commissioner of Police, Chennai something worthwhile may come out. Why not try?

EOW II (Economics Offences Wing), IIIrd Floor, TNHB Complex, IInd Avenue, ANNA NAGAR, CHENNAI is dealing with this case. There was a notice to the effect in Aug 09, but many including me, though staying in Chennai did not notice this. Now I have submitted a petition with the wing. I am told, that the company will pay the actual amount paid then as per the court directives. Since I submitted the petition now it will take a month or so. Some investors have already got their invested amount. Any one interested may submit their petition giving their name(as in certificate), present age, current address, Certificate Number, Contact phone number etc to the above address along with photo copy of certificate. Do not send original certificate now.
When I inquired they said that they will be accepting petition by post.
