[Resolved]  Thomas Cook (India) Ltd — Account charged for unsuccessful booking

Address: Gurgaon, Haryana

I was tying a rail booking through Thomascook website on 16/06/2010 (User ID nishant<dot>org<at>gmail.com) but there was some error in transaction and my booking was unsuccessful. Later on when I checked my account I found that my bank account was charged for INR 3,386.00. I have not received that money yet. Thomascook is saying that they have refunded the money but my bank is saying that they have not received that. I have no idea where my money gone.

Dear all,

I was tying a rail booking through Thomascook website on 16/06/2010 (User ID nishant.[protected]@gmail.com) but there was some error in transaction and my booking was unsuccessful. Later on when I checked my account I found that my bank account was charged for INR 3,386.00 . Could you please refund that amount to me? I talked with your customer care and they are saying that you have already refunded the amount. I have checked with my bank and they are saying that they did not received any amount !!!!

As per the Visa/cashnet operating regulation, the acquiring bank (Merchant's bank) has a time limit of 60 days from the date of chargeback to prove that this transaction is successful.
