i had an fd from unitech before a year for one year plan. after maturity they have renewed it automaticaly and amount not credited yet after one month of maturity. all nessesory document already submitted, interest cheque received.
I am sure you must have missed the correspondence for renewal of the FD. And as for the amout not being credited, There must be some technical glitch. I am sure Unitech officials will take care of that. Do not panic for nothing. Unitech is the second largest reals estate firm in India and has a good reputation.Your money is safe in their hands.
My FD has also matured and I have sent the FD receipts. But the amount has not yet come. We are worried. I have been following it up through Integrated Enterprises. Why dont they give the amount on the date it matures as other banks and financial institutions????

    I am an NRI customer and I have a complaint against Marketing department, Unitech Kolkata. I have sent the initial 10% booking amount on 02/02/2011 as per the given rate by Marketing Manager, Unitech Kolkata. As of now I have not received any confirmation from them and they have not sent the allotment letter/offer letter, agreement and other required documents yet 19/02/2011. I checked with my local bank and HDFC bank, the amount has been credited to their account on 03/02/2011. I don't know if they are sleeping or something else... it's very frustrating.

    Sometimes it takes time to prepare the paperwork involved in booking of a flat. As you have credited the amount, the paperwork will reach to you for sure. Just be patient.

      Hey Priyanka,
      I appreciate your vigilante approach towards the unauthorized work being done in the vicinity of your building. But don't you think that the mention of the company name Unitech is a little misleading. The mention makes it appear like you have a grievance against Unitech. You are unknowingly maligning the name of the second largest real estate developer in India. I kindly request you to rephrase the title.
      The second largest developer is India seems to have been gone bankrupt and not responding to any customers that have paid them millions but have time to respond on Consumer Forum to petty complains ! Frauds and Cheats they scammed millions from us with NO liability till date.

      Delay in Possession Unitech Horizon

        Subject - T.D.S. on Interest Amount

        I have applied for 1 year fixed deposit in Unitech Fixed Deposit, when I deposited the amount that time they told me you will get this interest amount on this Fixed Deposits on maturity. Now when our Fixed Deposits are matured and they cut T.D.S. on Interest Amount of all Fixed Deposits

        Eventually company paid full Interest on one FD and cut T.D.S. amount on remaining Fixed Deposits' Interest. Now I want some help from you so I can get full interest on all Fixed Deposits.

Now I want some help from you so I can get full interest on all Fixed Deposits.
        According to Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, only the tax saving Fixed deposits for or above a tenure of 5 years is exempted from TDS. The interest generated on these fixed deposits is also taxable. As your fixed deposit with Unitech Fixed Deposit was for a period of 1 year they must have deducted the TDS on the interest. The FD on which you got full interest must have been a mistake by the company, but I am sure you want to keep that to yourself. Please get all your facts cleared and do some research yourself.

          Have visited site on regular basis. Unfortunately every time the completion date is shifted by 6 months.
          The latest committment is early 2011.
          Keeping my fingers crossed that atleast the company honours it,s commiyment this time.
          WONDER like TRAI why there is no forum where the mis-deeds of these all powerful builders can be reported?

          Real estate is a very dynamic sector. Huge Projects are subject to uncertainties and these project do get delayed. All the construction companies facing the same problem. Don't worry Unitech is a huge company and will deliver what they have promised.
          Don't worry you will get the possession on time.
          Delays are irrefutable situations in real estate sector and are faced by every other real estate developer. There are various factors that affect the schedule of a certain project. In case o[censored]nitech, which is the second largest real estate developer in India, I am sure they will comply with their extended committed dates. You should not worry so much.

          as long as people like Robert Vadra are in real estate, the Govt. will never form a regualtory body . it is such a shock that for small investments like insurance, mutual funds and shares the govt have regulatory authority but where people invest thr life's savings, the Govt. has shown no interest in any such set up . Its because most of the politician have personal intersts in real estate and are in hand in glove with these developers/builders .
          Never buy Unitech Property since they always delay !!

            Despite laps of nearly Six Months of maturity the company has not released the maturity amount. Follow up through emails and phone calls to FD department have no effect on the management of the company who have not even bothered to respond. Under the circumstances one can only surmise that the management is indifferent and intantions are quationable. Looking to the numerous complaints, it is time that the depositors should unite and take up the matter under RTI act.

            I am holding FDR No. 1244822 for Rs. 100, 000/- with maturity as on 24/10/2014.

            With reference to the above mentioned subject, I have an objection to the payment reschedulement plan and am totally against this, as it is a breach of the conditions mentioned at the time of investment.

            I had invested this amount with Unitech for some period with a specific plan in mind and now the same has got totally upset. Hence, it is very difficult for me to arrange for alternate funds as my FD is already Matured &amp; it’s been more than six months that I have not received the maturity amount &amp; also I have committed to someone pay the fund by 30th April 2015 as due to the delayed payment schedule, I will not receive my funds on time.

            May I, therefore, request you to kindly do the needful as early as possible and oblige.

              Please file a FIR this is a fraud. Also the above message is another fraud. Remember no one gives out money for free...You did not buy a ticket so what is the prize for? Someone has made a fool out of you & will continue. File FIR asap.

              Would you please change the headline? It is misleading and the company you are talking about here is the second largest real estate developer in India and I don't think they will tread matters like these lightly. There can also be a lawsuit fired against you for maligning the company's name. I would advice you to change the headline as soon as possible.

                Dear Sir,

                I own an apartment in Tower 11 o[censored]nitech close North in Nirwana Country Gurgaon. The company is constantly delaying possession and is not giving any date for possession . There is now a delay of more than 3 years over the date of possession committed in the agreement. The work in this project is progressing really slow. One can see just two or three workers working inside the towers.
                Also Unitech has already taken 95% payment in down payment plan way back in 2005 from me. They are also not giving a clear answer to all these queries inspite of visits to them in the signature tower.
                I would urge authorities to look into the matter and save many innocent , law abiding and tax paying citizens like me from harassment and cheating.

                Although I am planning a separate legal and civil case against the company and its directors for cheating and abnormal delay , I would urge consumer protection cell to look into the matter and take strong action against the company for the abnormal delays and mental torture of the consumers.

                The very same incident was faced by my cousin in Delhi. We tend to be very judgemental on such grounds. We need to hear them out as my cousin did. They were really very patient and they solved everything out for them. I do not think they would run in for such huge risk. As for my cousin, he is happily living in his house and content with everything. We need to start being so rational and question out some more.
                I have a house in delhi today courtesy Untilift. I loved their service and knowledge they imposed upon me. There is no need of any such PIL, ask them and reason out all your queries. Its just a phone call or a visit away.
                Delays are irrefutable situations in real estate sector and are faced by every other real estate developer. There are various factors that affect the schedule of a certain project. In case o[censored]nitech, which is the second largest real estate developer in India, I am sure they will not cheat you and comply with their committed dates. As for the legal actions, I would advice you to tread patiently and communicate with the proper company official. I am sure that the delay being caused must be because of some technical glitch and can be overcome later. Just be patient and your dream home will come to you. After all, the customers and the company should understand each other to overcome such small hurdles.

                Unitech Close North has been delayed by almost 4 years now. Their Marketing Department contacts ( Mickey Bansal and Doren) give evasive answer. I also went to the site today and all work has stopped, They have also relocated teh EWS block and it noe faces tower 10 and 11 which completely spoils the view from these towers. They are nnow saying there is a problem with laying the sewer line and it can take up to a year to resolve this. I want to reach out to other people who have flats in tower 10 and 11 in Unitech Close North - so that we can come together and put pressure on Unitech to

                1) Arrange for funds so that the sewer line can be laid and possession can be given

                2) Compensate us for this inordinate delay ( over and above what is mentioned in the agreement)

                  Unitech sold houses in Nirvana Country (Sector 51, Gurgaon) with the promise that a clubhouse would be built solely for the residents of Nirvana Country. A deposit was taken from the residents at the time of the purchase for the houses for construction of the South Patio Club, with the promise that the management of the clubhouse would be handed over to the residents of Nirvana Country. The clubhouse was finally developed more than 4 years after the promised date. However, contrary to all promises Unitech refuses to allow the residents any say in the management of the club. Unitech has turned the society's clubhouse into an open club which it uses to makes money by renting the club premises to outsiders for private parties. Despite many representations from the Nirvana Country Residents Wellfare Association, Unitech refuses to change its stand.

                  The fees of the clubhouse has been arbitrarily doubled by Unitech and the tenants have also been denied the access to the club despite they being provided NOC by the respective Nirvana Country house owners. Nirvana Country Resident's Wellfare Association is now contemplating legal action against Unitech for this breach of trust. In the meanwhile, everyone involved has been greatly inconvenienced by this unethical behavior o[censored]nitech.
                  Legal actions would only aggregate the issue, possibilities are that the court can even stall the project thus making matter worse, it is always better to go personally and meet the authorities and clear doubts.Have faith and patience things will improve. All the best.
                  This kind of behavior from Unitech is unheard of. Are you sure that some kind of official agreement was made stating that the clubhouse will be handed over to the residents of Nirvana Country? If such an agreement is present, maybe Unitech is administrating the clubhouse in order to provide the residents with state-of-the-art facilities that they promised earlier. About the increased fees of clubhouse, well, costs are rising everywhere. I guess you should get in touch with proper officials at Unitech’s headquarters to sort out this complaint. Have faith in Unitech and I am sure they will get the problem sorted.
                  Both of them seem to be pawns o[censored]nitech. I suggest you go to a consumer court, which will take a fast decision and also give you the administration of the club house.

                    non receipt of FD amount even after maturity date

                    I have invested 2 lakh in fixed deposite o[censored]NITECH LTD but they are not giving cheque of maturity value even after 15days of maturity date(03/04/2010) they are giving excuses that thery have not received original FD slip, tho' I have corriered them and have courrier receipt of the same. I have issued them 2 lakh in form of cheque and i want them to deposite the maturity amount in same bank, same name, same account. pls help me earliest...

                    I booked a Flat at Unitech Verve. There is NO sign of possession. I have met CFO, GM (Mktg) and written innumerable letters/emails. No justifiable reply. I have paid 18% compounded interest @18% for every one or two days delay in payment. This project was time linked...to take money from customers every 90th day irrespective of construction. I have paid more than 90% money already. The answer is that I will be Rs 5 per sqr ft per month for delay which is peanuts. How can they take customers money on time bound basis when construction is far from completion. Is the GOVT or The urban planning authorities listening or going to take any action against them.

                    Millions like you and me have had the same experience with Unitech. Just search the internet for all the scams Unitech is involved in all over the country. You'll be horrified!
                    I haven't had a single, positive interaction with any Unitech employee. All of them are masters at the art and craft of deceit. They stiffly deny any wrong-doing, refuse to listen to you, start accusing you instead and threatening to cancel your allotment, and continue billing you exhorbitant sums of money that are totally unjustified.
                    Whenever Unitech is caught in an illegal tangle, they blame the recession. When they want investments in their group of companies, then they boast about how well they are doing. They divert funds, they indulge in fraudulent practices. They have tremendous political clout (so if they 'have no money' how do they keep their godfathers happy?) which is probably why they get away with everything possible under the sun.
                    They're nothing but a bunch of scamsters!
                    Aggrieved Unitech buyers have formed groups (project-wise) in google groups and other buyers' forums (I personally think an umbrella organization englobing ALL aggrieved Unitech buyers should be formed. We should file a PIL and ask for cancellation of their licence to build or have anything to do with the construction industry. There's strength in numbers. Join up. Perhaps one day justice will prevail.

                    Ranting out to the government is NOT the ONLY reason to solve such issues. The economy has been had for about a year now and all o[censored]s have faced the brunt of it. SO HAVE THEY. I have had all my problems solved by them. The GM won’t really help you out with this. Hook on to the person who you dealt with during your transactions.

                    I completely agree with you. I too have purchased an apartment in Verve. I have no way to know what is the date the Comapny is ready to commit on the possession. There needs to be strict action against such attitude of big Companies who take the consumer for a ride. When the consumer delays a payment by a day, they have all rights to not even hand over the possession till all dues are paid with interest. The same rule should apply to these Companies when they have not been able to deliver to their commitments and pay the penalties to the similar or infact higher order. They should pay us for the interest we are paying on all the loans we took to pay them and also compensate @18% per month of the amount paid up by the consumer for the apartment.

                    Hope this forum is for real and the consumer complaints logged here are seen by some serious officer to take a strict action against these organizations.

                    The Construction Update of Verve on their website has a pdf file showing pictures of construction as in April 2010. I have no idea if any improvement has taken place in the last 4 months. Does anyone have an idea? I am also worried about the quality which may be affected by lack of funds Unitech is facing. They may have done everything possible to reduce the costs by downgrading materials.
                    Hi Nanda first of all don't panic Unitech won't let you down, my relative have been associated with Unitech and he too had a similar problem, but he didn't panic and Unitech did fulfill everything that they promised. So instead of believing rumors I suggest have patience! All the best

There are many factors that can affect the speed of construction. So I would suggest you to stay calm. Unitech is a very reputed company and wil not let you down. I guess you must have got your possession by now.

                    As the actual construction works in any real estate projects are sub-contracted to different other companies, some delays on their part can result in big delays in overall project. As all these construction works are interlinked, the smallest of delays can snowball in bigger delays. Still Unitech is a very reputed company and I am sure they keep these small delays are in check. But the real estate construction work is also very sensitive to other factors like inflation, recession etc. So I would suggest you to be patient. I am sure your home must be in possession already.

                      I hold a unit in Unitech Habitat. The company has already delayed the delivery of the project by 1 year. The company has no responsible person or formal response to when are they likely to complete the project. After investing my hard earned money the company treats its customers with utmost disrespect with one not even allowed the enter the company premises and letters and calls to company recieving no replies.

                      The company is turn asking me to pay last installment @18% interest for delay in payment with total disregard that over 80% money has been paid and there is no definate answer as to how much longer the project will be delayed.

                      Customers beware of investing with Unitech. Consumer Forum please help me get the penalty Unitech is legally bound to pay on my property for delay in project.

                      Has anyone visited the Habitat site recently? Is there any work going on or it is totally stopped?
                      THE REASON WHY THE COMPANY IS IRRESPONSIVE IS ON ACCOUNT OF ITS TECHNICAL ERRORS. They had a virus attack in their system which is why they have not attended to your emails. Stay calm, don’t blow it out of proportion
                      I approached them for the very same reasons. My money is safe in their hands and they are not scam.

                      Unitech has been as unprofessional as any third grade construction company regarding getting back to customers . I am an owner of flat in Unitech Habitat as well. Does anybody has any updates regarding the construction updates /pics ?
                      The delays are caused due to various unavoidable reasons like recession, labor crunch, material shortage, inflation etc. This is the story with every real estate project going on in India at this moment. Don’t worry Gaurav, as your money is in good hands. Unitech is the second largest real estate developer in India and has a certain market image to protect. I am sure they will not let you down.
                      Unitech have cheated all its customers who are paying millions for the flats and 12% interest to the banks for past 5 years with nothing to call their own ! I got a email from some one who has recently visited the Site, it seems that all work has stopped on site as contractors are not being paid. This person had paid stamp duty in april 2011 and did not get any other updates from Unitech since past 6 months and on visiting the site was shocked to see that its at a standstill while the company is asking payments from customers...seems like most of its customers are NRI's therefore no legal action has been taken yet.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I purchased a Vodafone 3G USB data card (IMIE no- [protected]) and a vodafone sim card in the month of may 09 from chennai with 899 unlimited surfing plan. i hardly used it for one month. But when i got the bill, i was shocked to see that a large number of sms has been sent from that sim card to special number which is not true. that sim card was used only in the data card not in the mobile phone.

                        Now i am in Delhi, and have got a company paid vodafone sim ( Mob. No- [protected]) for using in 3G data card with unlimited plan (899plan). when i got my first bill again i was shocked to see that it was for 24000/- and says around 6000 sms has been sent from this sim to special numbers, which is not true.

                        i dont know what is wrong with this data card. i have spoken to customer care but even they say that bill is genune and amount can not be reversed.

                        from last three month i am getting almost same amount bill and have spoken to many customer care store, they have filed a complaint against this number and i have sent mail to relevent people to look in to this case but till date i did not get any satisfactory reply.

                          Dear Sir/ Madam,
                          This is regarding an apartment that I had bougth in Unitech Close in 2005. The possesion of the apartment was due in April 2007 as per the agreement signed between me and the builder but till date (31st Dec 2009), the apartment has not been handed over causing a huge financial burden to me. Though as per the agreement, the builder (Unitech Limited) will give a penalty of 5 Rs per sqft every month ( Rs.12455 per month), but this penalty is insignificant as compared to the loss am incurring on a monthyl basis. I had taken this house on a loan for which the average EMI for last 3 years has been Rs.54000 per month. Even now, the apartment is nowhere near completion and the builder has said it will take 3-4 months more to hand over this apartment.

                          The reasons for delay as cited by the builder is due to financial issues they have been facing in the last year, which is in no way our problem. Also, the same builder has gone ahead and annouced several new projects and diverted its manpower to these new projects, while the older ones continue to be uncompleted.

                          I request you to take action against the builder and help me get the compensation to cover my loss for the last 3 years,

                            Sir,

                            I bought a 2 bedroom apartment in Uniworld city, Greater Noida project o[censored]nitech where I was shown dream project sequences to get lured. The project is supposed to be delivered in June'2011 but till date, no single brick is laid for construction. There is no sign off anybody working at the site. It seems Unitech is giving all attention to low cost homes i.e UniHomes, and forgot all his commitments for high end apartments as they are costly to built and sold.

                            This is indeed a fraud and Unitech is cheating all my kind of people who invested huge sum of their hard earned money into their VIRTUAL projects. I request somebody to take serious action against Unitech and ask them to return whole money and close our Home Loans, for which we are forced to pay EMIs for no reason.

                            Even I bought a flat last year in Unitech Capella and was promised that the flat will be delivered on time but till date there is not even a brick layed. When I spoke to Unitech they recommended either we take a swap with another project or wait until Capella is delivered. When I started enquirying about the swap it seems Unitech is just buying time and not really interested in customers issue

                            I will really appreciate if we could all get together and complain against Unitech

                            This is absolute fraud. We must ***UNITE*** because only in unity lies strength and Unitech must be brought to realize this fraud they are putting their customers through. I'm in the US and want to request residents of NCR or in India to go to the media and bring this out in the open. I know it is easier said than done but if you stop and think about it, we are talking about Unitech taking our HUGE sums of money for the flats and simply sitting on it. It is extortion literally where they are simply benefiting as an entity. We simply MUST not permit a company to operate in this fashion and let them get away with it.

                            I suggest we get together and frame a letter with the help of an NCR real estate attorney to file it with the media organizations, the local government, GNIDA authority, UP state govt and relentlessly pursue the officials in the public sector to crack down on this entity that is so openly deceiving us all.

                            I am fully prepared to make a few calls daily to the public officials in govt, in the media. Let's plan a call together to determine how we can best attack this problem and solve it for us all.

                            I couldn't agree with you guys more. I, and millions of others, have had the same experience as you. Just search the internet for all the scams Unitech is involved in all over the country. You'll be horrified!
                            I haven't had a single, positive interaction with any Unitech employee. All of them are masters at the art and craft of deceit. They stiffly deny any wrong-doing, refuse to listen to you, start accusing you instead and threatening to cancel your allotment, and continue billing you exhorbitant sums of money that are totally unjustified.
                            Whenever Unitech is caught in an illegal tangle, they blame the recession. When they want investments in their group of companies, then they boast about how well they are doing. They divert funds, they indulge in fraudulent practices. They have tremendous political clout (so if they 'have no money' how do they keep their godfathers happy?) which is probably why they get away with everything possible under the sun.
                            They're nothing but a bunch of scamsters!
                            Aggrieved Unitech buyers have formed groups (project-wise) in google . groups and other buyers' forums (I personally think an umbrella organization englobing ALL aggrieved Unitech buyers should be formed. We should file a PIL and ask for cancellation of their licence to build or have anything to do with the construction industry. There's strength in numbers. Join up. Perhaps one day justice will prevail.

                            Lets not all press a panic button firstly I think you should approach them, what I know is when I emailed them they said due to recession all their projects were stalled and thus now they are clearing the backlog first don't worry Unitech will keep up the promise have faith and talk it out with them
                            Delays are an obvious part of Indian real estate development sector and are faced by every real estate development company. Many projects go through delays and the customers should cooperate with the developers to help them overcome this situations. But instead of that all the customers cry out that the company is fraud and run to the court. People should be more understanding.

                            As the actual construction works in any real estate projects are sub-contracted to different other companies, some delays on their part can result in big delays in overall project. As all these construction works are interlinked, the smallest of delays can snowball in bigger delays. Still Unitech is a very reputed company and I am sure they keep these small delays are in check. But the real estate construction work is also very sensitive to other factors like inflation, recession etc. So I would suggest you to be patient. I am sure your home must be in possession already.

                            FDR principal amount not recieved

                            My FDR no. Is 1237662 and 1237663 DOM 04/03/2014 Principal amount 50000 each ie 100000 I have still not receive the principal amount. despite of my so many calls I m getting only excuses and further dates there is no end to this scenario.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I booked an apartment in Unitech Verve, Greater Noida in Dec 05, with possession promised in Dec 08. The project is still not ready with management now estimating June 2010 as the possession date. Unitech is taking its customers for granted without realising that people have invested their hard earned money in this project. This is simply ridiculous and strict action must be taken against the company.

                              Unitech management is down playing the entire situation by saying that they will compensate the customer with INR 5/ sq.ft as damages, which works out to a penal interest of just 2% p.a. on the property cost of INR 3000/sq.ft. Whereas, if the customer defaults on payment, the penal interest is a staggering 18%. Is not the difference staggering !!

                              I request the concerned authorities to please look into the matter.

We are currently handling several subvention fraud cases against the developer, where the buyers were not granted possession on time.                               I think it is time to take strict action agains UNITECH for delaying the launch of the Cascades project in Greater Noida. I think they are taking their customers for granted. Do they realize that people have invested their hard earned money? Moreover, it seems that they are planning to charge escalated maintenance charges at the time of possession. This is simply ridiculous and strict action must be taken against the company. How about paying us a penalty at 10% Per Annum on the amount paid so far? How about revising the Rs 5/- psf penalty for delay to Rs 10/- psf?

                              I cant belive you did that. Capella is a complete non-starter like many other unitech projects. Nevertheless they will do 'one day' ...you should be getting it in 2012 or thereabouts as Unitech is already working on arranging funds and reducing their debt from 2 Billion USD to 1.5 now in 2 years time. With that rate they should be having positive cash flow in 3 years time and thats when they will start building it.

                              I had booked a 2BHK in Capella. As the project is a non-starter lets try to contact other allottees and put pressure on Unitech. They are selling projects in other areas like Noida n Gurgaon. These projects I believe will be constructed earlier than Capella(if it happens). We cud ask us to be shifted to some other suitable project.

                              I complete agree that Capella is a non-starter. I have fallen for the same trap by booking a 2BHK (albiet my EMIs haven't started yet, being under the 30 months zero EMI scheme, I hoped to cash in on the real estate boom but duh!!). Unitech had done some initial excavation (probably during the launch of the project, 2 years back) and stopped everything after that. Even the Unitech Noida customer support is not ready to commit, when or if at all they are Unitch is going to start any work.
                              Regarding shifting to other projects (in greater noida/gurgaon or anywhere else), I had checked this Unitech and they do not have any such options.
                              We need to get together (all Capella owners) and start looking for options to counter Unitech. Do get in touch with me through email.
                              I'm also in same boat. I've booked the BHK flat almost two years back and paid them 60% of the total cost. Let's try to get in touch with other Capella victims and start looking options.

                              I get to know from this forum that there are others like me who have been trapped by Unitech- Capella at Greater Noida. I have also booked the flat, got a NRI loan from an Indian Bank and paying Rs.45, 000 per month as EMI without there being any update from Unitech whatsoever. I also do not get any update from Unitech, whatsoever. Unitech should either return back the money that we paid them with interest or commit on a time period to give us the allotted apartments.

                              I am eager to join any forum in this regards and ensure that all o[censored]s get what we have paid for at the right value...I understand that they have mentioned 40 months in the SPA (Sale Purchase Agreement) from the time of signing the Agreement and they will be paying the allottee a penalty after that.
                              I am with you guys. I also booked 3BHK in capella and no idea when it will finish. Please form a group and start putting pressure very soon other wise they won't take seriouslly. It is 100 acre Porject and capella is all together 12 Acres only. They have not started the booking for any other projects, means they are not sure about the future of Project. At least we can put pressure and get back the booking amount or what ever money we have paid till now.

                              Hey guys a piece of good news I happen to visit Unitech office and happy with the response I got... the reason for Capella's delay was recession and then the breakdown of their system, due to which they lost very crucial data and had to setup the whole system again and stuffs. Don't worry guys they are not fooling us, but they themselves are stuck with a lot of issues. I am sure our issues will be dealt with soon and as committed. Keep up the hope. And yes not to forget if there are many dissatisfied customers at the same time they have satisfied ones too. So don't worry.
                              The reason could be that if a consumer defaults his payments the whole project will be affected thus making other flat owners also suffer that's the reason to discourage defaults the penalty is high as far as compensating the consumer is concerned I think whatever you would be getting will be cream only I understand your apprehensions about the project, but imagine we also many times miss the deadline we commit in our professional life how we expect the other person to be considerate in such a situation. Unitech executes project at a large scale and such projects are very dynamic due to uncertainty. So have Patience.
                              Hi, basically the costing for these projects are done on estimates and are very vulnerable to change since market prices for resources fluctuates. We ourselves know how fast things change right. I think If you ask Unitech the reason for this change I am sure they will answer you. It would be really difficult for them to sustain their operations if the prices will increase. I would suggest we should look on both sides of the coin.

                              Unitech is very good in making showhom, but when it comes to the real execution of project, they totally lack the imgaination and common sense. They are also very insensitive towards the consumers request and sentiments. They charges premium for their flats, but they do not deserve it. Unitech took money from real estate investors and home owners, and they invested this money in their other projects and were very high risk and no benefit to the flat owners. In past two years, all unitech stakeholders have to pay a price for reckless management policy of some individuals o[censored]nitech who think themself to be smart, but are stupid, as they lost all their goodwill and trust
                              I[censored]nitech lacked in the imagination and common sense while executing their projects, can you explain how they are the second largest real estate developers in India? As far as your allegation about investing money taken from real estate investors and home owners in other projects, I am sure that Unitech does not participate in any such malpractices. After all they have a really good market image to preserve. Speaking about the good will and trust people have in Unitech and their projects, you can easily see the excellent response their new projects are receiving. You should think twice before writing about some good organization.
                              As the project can get hampered if the money does not keep flowing in at the time of development, the developers try and avoid such a situations by implying a heavy fine in the case of default. Delays are the inseparable part of real estate development now a days and every developer is facing the same problems. I would advice you to be patient and cooperate the company to get your home as soon as possible.

                                I booked a property in Sec 33, Gurgaon (Project name: The Residences) and was communicated a payment terms which is different from the terms in the contract copy. I have been following up with the company officials but there is no response (In some cases, they say that they can't do anything now.

                                  Unitech Agra - Refund Fraud

                                  I have invested in the Unitech Agra project in April of 2006 and the project has not started even three years since Unitech started collecting funds towards the project.

                                  For the past year I have tried to get my money refunded from Unitech to no avail. Initially I contacted Mr. Amit Bhatia of Shaloo Agencies Gurgaon through whom I had made the investment. Whenever I used to call him he would say the refund will be made available...
