Hi,
While driving my Polo Highline car (UP 32- DH- 8550) under warranty, the AC burnt and started giving lots of white smoke from the front hood. I called roadside assistance and requested them to take the vehicle but they told me to try to drive it to nearest workshop. On giving the vehicle to the workshop, I received no response from VW Downtown on the vehicle's status for one week. The service engineer's number is turned off for one week and show room is not responding to the query on the vehicle status. I called road side assistance to try to get a response on my car. They took the request and told me they will get back to me in 48 Hrs. They also told me that they will provide an alternate vehicle till my car gets repair.
After not hearing form them for 4 days I called back again to check what happened, I learnt that my request is still under process. And 48 Hrs commitment from the company means "48 working hours". And I was told that it takes 6 to 8 "working days" to get a response form VolksWagen.
Everybody please be careful while not to fall into trap by VolksWagen's advertisements 24 hrs helpline support. Through which they are selling vehicles with poor materials parts placed which can cause serious safety hazard while driving.
