Hi,
I have taken their membership in april 2018, and tried booking for manali, they said no rooms available, then tried mussoorie, no rooms available, then few more places like this none of them were available. During sales pitch, we were promised that we can book minimum 3 days before, but in actual we couldn’t get room even before 30 days. I would like to cancel my membership and want refund of money

    I had taken membership in dec.2017, by paying rs. 1lakh for one year + 4 years, with a cash back of rs. 30k for air tickets.
    I have applied several times for holidays giving min 60 days prior information, but am not able to get promised accommodation.
    It's been six months (180 days) i applied for the refund of amount but i am yet to receive any response from the company. I have put 100's of email reminder's with no response.br...

    Hi,

    Mr nadeem, sale representive of this company sold the membership with fake promises to me with membership id chibh773548. At the time of membership they told that i can avail 2 room per day for any trip without prepaid amc charges and food. When i tried to book the trip to nanital, they demanded amc and compulsary food charges to me. Why should i take food from your hotel only and pay you the amount before. I paid 40k to them and not able to plan a single trip without paying amc charges. I need to cancel the memership without availing any single trip.

    Please cancel my membership asap and refund the full amount.

    I got below email from them:

    Dear member

    As per company policy, we regret to inform that booking can't proceed without food and amc charges.

    Kindly confirm for the same for further booking process.

    Note:-

    The booking cannot be cancelled & is subject to availability.
    We accept bookings only in working hours i. E. 10 a. M. To 6 p. M from tuesday to sunday.
    The standard check in, check out times will apply as per hotel terms on your mentioned booking dates.
    Confirmation from the member is required within 24 hours for this booking to be finalized, else we may be forced to give you alternate options.

    Hi Sandy,
    I have also applied for refund after I came to know about their false promises about availing more than 1 room where ever and when ever I want. But they are not letting me cancel my membership by saying membership could not be cancelled. As per them the company has all the rights to cheat the customer but we can't cancel the membership because this is not a valid point for cancellation. I have not taken any booking from them yet.Please can you help me to know whom should I approach or how to get refund.

      Hi all,
      I wish to update you all that country holidays inn & suites sales team during his company profile intro commits that they have many hotels around the world but the truth is a bit different, they don't have even a single owned property anywhere in the world.
      I took my refund back after so much of follow-ups and political pressure. My advice is please check everything before buying the membership from them.

      Did you get the full refund from this company? How many days they take to refund the amount? I want to cancel my membership without availing single trip with them because of fake promises at the time of selling the membership.

      Please share your membership details, to help us resolve the issue that you are facing with the membership you have enrolled for with CHIS.
      Same here they falsely mentioned Dalhousie in their properties and when we inquired about its booking, to our utter disbelief the booking team representative of CHIS replied that they do not have properties in Dalhousie. When they were confronted with the listing on their own website showing Dalhousie as listed properties on CHIS website, they removed it from there. They are making a fool out of customers. I came across many such incidences in reviews online. They have made videos on Youtube to appease prospective customers but reality is that all locations that were promised to me at the time of the membership sale, most of them either are listed in upcoming properties or when inquired about a so-called 'CHIS property', they will tell you its not there and then remove it from their website... Everyone beware of their tactics.

      Thanks to the Mr. Jitesh from CHIS team. He not only acknowledged the discrepancy but also assured me of quality services from CHIS in future. He also helped me find accommodation for a holiday at my desired destination. I would hope that my fellow complainants can find a similar resolution soon.
      We immediately asked for the refund after the payment and before signing the agreement in their Gurgaon office. Their sales employees took advantage of our situation and said that we can claim the refund only after signing the agreement and confirming the membership. We never confirmed their membership.

      Their sales team used to call us with a different name and tried to force us to confirm for the membership and take one trip. They will talk rudely over the phone and will try to threaten by saying that your money will be lost.

      After 4 months of follow-ups, they refunded us after deducting GST amount. Regarding GST, they said that it is paid to the government and cannot be claimed.

      The company is fraud and their employees will always lie to you. Never believe anyone of them.

      Update 2-Jul- The dispute was raised in Feb when you not even agreed to refund after several calls and emails. You only agreed to refund on 7th Apr and sent me a confirmation on 9th Jun when I followed up. The cheque was handed over me on 16th Jun. You also lied about the GST. BTW, as soon as I received the amount, I had my bank know about it. So whose intent is fraudulent here?

      Firstly, as per GST rule, GST is not applicable if no service has been availed and in this of Manisha Jhawar, it holds true. CHIS can't deduct GST, its their liability which CHIS has to bear since they delayed the refund. Moreover, Its refundable by filing revised GST return which actionable on CHIS.
      I also Agree to Manisha Jhawar, CHIS is fraud and fake and its representatives always lie to you. I'm victim of their fraud too and has been pursuing refund since last 2.5 months. Will wait for another 2 weeks and will drag them to consumer court. We all victims are uniting and together will bring them to justice and get our hard earned money back. Government of India has brought policy facilitating "easy of doing business" not "easy of doing fraud" which the promoters and representatives of CHIS seems to have misinterpreted to their self benefit.
      I had recently purchased the membership with CHIS for 10 years and gone through very bad experiences of their services and staff behaviour. Let me narrate the whole experience.

      1. Initially sales team members promote free holiday vouchers in mall premises and asked you to visit them if you need it. Once you visit their offices, trap starts from there as I have also been the victim of the same.

      2. They will discuss about their best properties although they do not have tie up with a single 5 star properties in most of the cities. Sales guys make verbal commitment of providing best of services with countless promises that fall flat as soon as you purchase the membership and start dealing with customer service. They take their own sweet time in responding to your queries and will keep asking same question time and again for which response is already provided just to pass the time.

      3. They have so many clauses which we come to know only after purchasing the membership. No transparency with the customers. Big liars!!!

      4. When I did my first booking for Roseate House, Delhi through them then they have done wrong bookings instead of which I have asked.

      5. Finally, my patience got over and I visit their office to understand why they are unable to provide me the services and instead of resolving the issues, I have faced unethical staff behaviour (Mr Shekhar) - Senior sales team member (Heading Noida office) who is very arrogant while talking to me and claiming himself as owner of the company but unable to resolve my single issues and wasted 1.5 hours time.

      Because of above reasons, I want to cancel this membership and my whole amount of money is refunded which I have paid for the membership.

      From last 20 days I was following up with country holidays for movie ticket .
      Suddenly one day these people called me to come to their office to collect free movie tickets and stay voucher .one and half hour they forced us to buy membership then when we denied and asked for voucher they gave us piece of paper and suggested us to followup with customer support.Just to check their purity from last 25 days we are following up with the customer care and every time they told we will get back to you when there will be an availability.
      These people are really liers .This is the way to befool people and offer membership .it's a way of sales strategy.poor company who is making people fool.

      We have a 5 years full membership of CHIS. I should say it is the most horrible service I have ever experienced in this day and age.
      After paying everything in full, getting the membership letter and fancy looking cards

      1. you cant book a simple hotel room unless you are ready to make 10-15 calls and fight with them that you need the confirmation soon. they seem to have an army of call centre executive but no means to book a room. Everytime you make a call to book, they need 24 hrs to confirm, and then forget about or will cite some problem like unavailability. then they will require further 24 hrs to come back and deliver another uncertain response. this process goes on and on. Its a mental torture to haggle and push them to make them work.

      2. Additionally its call centre executives constantly cites additional charges (for example they charge gst when you make the booking), which we were never aware of. Also keeps telling us this portion or that service is not available. They do seem to constantly discourage the booking itself.

      At this moment I just want to somehow get rid of this whole program without getting the feeling that i wasted money. dunno how to accomplish that

      I stand 2nd to Mr Jitu Teron, CHIS is fraud company and its representatives makes fake promises. Every victim of CHIS has fundamental right to raise his voice and demand refund if not satisfied by their services and/or CHIS failed to provide service which is true in your scenario. We all are victims of CHIS but sailing in individual boats which is not helping anyone of us. Its time to come together and join hands to bring this fraud company and its promoters to justice and get our hard earned money back.       Garden Galeria Store manager Suraj Chaudhary calls himself a manager but don't even know how to talk to a lady. In case you attend their presentation and will say no to them they will be very arrogant and will start behaving in rude manner.

      Please refrain from visiting CHIS. I heard lot many cases against them and these people are unprofessional.

      Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager), he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

      Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

      Nobody tells me at the time of booking that they are using third party service for hotels booking.

      Mr. Raunit, venue manager of this company sold the membership with fake promises to me with membership id chisdls774453. At the time of membership they told that i can avail 3 room per day for any trip. When i tried to book the trip to udaipur, they are denying to book 3 room as they said you cant book 3 room because you have owned a membership only for 1 room. I purchase this only in terms that they will provide 3 rooms everytime when we go for vacation with family, now they denying the statement. Actually they denied all the things said at the time presentation. I have paid 140000 for this membership with amc extra. Almost 250000 for nothing. I need to cancel the memership without availing any single trip.

      Please cancel my membership asap and refund the full amount.

      I was invited to their presentation in Garden Galleria mall but i realized in time that all promises made were verbal, none in writing and as soon as i refused to buy the membership the staff (including manager) started behaving rudely and weirdly.       we have purchased CHIS menbership on 12th of February 2019, we taken 5 yrs plan from CHIS Gurgaon now we are trying to redeem our holiday gift voucher which was complimentry along with membership and sent mail to concern department with all necessary details they denied our request and replied that gift vouchers only redeem their own locations that means we cant choose our location and we have to plan our holiday according to their limited hotels afetr paying this huge amount of 1 lakh Rs what they are offering us is Shimla, shirdi and karta instead of Goa.

      They are also charging Rs 2000 + 18% gst in the name o[censored]tility charge so why they not tell us its not a gift and they will decide our location and we have to pay for that.

      After paying 1 lakh 7 thousand Rs what we are getting in return is disappointments and frustrations. is this a luxury holiday for CHIS ?


      We tried so many times there customer care number every time call drop automatically.

      Mr. Deepak & Mr. Vijay from Gurgaon office who were showing us so many positive things like we will book your destination before your kit send to you and now they refuse to redeem our gift voucher. I don't understand in the time of meeting why they hide such kind of things and now things going wrong and frustrating us because every single thing related to our policy never ever shows us any positive response.

      After getting all negative feedback on complimentary voucher we do not want t continue with is membership any more and want to close the policy ASAP and want our money back.

      FRAUD, SCAM AND CHEATERS. They promised five star hotels and resorts but when asked for reservation they always state that the property is sold/ unavailable for booking or yearly renewal of tie ups are process. unresponsive customer care team, they put the call on hold for 10 mins and later disconnected when asked for senior executives. I have paid 175000 from my hard earned money and they are not providing any service in return. They don't adhere to their terms and conditions and all the lucarative offers given by the sales team in order to avail membership are set to be false and a fluke by their own customer care team.PLEASE DON, T BUY COUNTRY HOLIDAYS INN & SUITES membership.

      Please share you contact no. I would like to speak to you. I have also purchased their policy but so far they have not yet sent any policy documents. It was a trap. Is there any way of cancelling it ?
      I am also a victim of this chis and have request my money back many times as they failed to keep up their promises apart from that claims that it is now non refundable .
      I would like to go further with my complain with the district court has any one sued them already or filled an FIR against the management for false commitments and looting people .

        Complete fraud promise 5 star hotels like taj, lemon tree fortune itc but none of them belong to his group its a pop and shop open to loot and collect money but will never deliver holidays we tried booking after paying 2lacs but no holiday.

        Got a call from mob around late afternoon 3pm on 17/12/2017 from one priya thakur stated to be the executive of great holidays ltd and calling from saket mall and requested me to come to their place for some gift voucher as my name has been selected, since sunday i was little reluctant but on her request managed hesitantly to give tentative timing for 5 pm to come to them. Unfortunately could not manage the timing to come to due to some family emergency work and had to go to somewhere. Around 5 pm got a call from [protected] from that lady priya thakur which i didn't pick the call due to busy in other work.
        Around 5 pm got a call from [protected] from one rohit chaudhary stated to be manager and called me to come at any cost to their place, i replied that i am preoccupied and can't come at the moment. He was very abusive and misbehaved over phone to me that why i committed to come if some work was there. I told due to some urgent work i couldn't manage to come. He shouted anything, i told that i may come after 2 hrs time once i free from work. Again he shouted and misbehaved and cut the line.

        There seems to be some misunderstanding here, the member ship that you have taken is from a different organisation GREAT HOLIDAYS LTD. and you have posted is against a totally different organisation COUNTRY HOLIDAYS INN & SUITES. We humbly request you to change your complaint and register your complaint against the organisation from which you have taken the membership from.

        Mr Malhotra..as mentioned that the complaint you have mistakenly registered for CHIS as indeed it was for GREAT HOLIDAYS..so from our end its all sorted out and resolved as explained earlier as well.
        Anyone who has canceled the membership immediately because of their lies and claiming for a full refund, they will still deduct GST charges. Their point of excuse will be that it is paid to the Government and they cannot claim it.

        But in reality, GST amount can be refunded by raising credit note regarding deal cancellation and mention in their GST returns but they will not tell you about this.

        They will always try to take advantage of your situation. So, never believe anyone of them.
