I had ordered a Daikin Split Inverter AC through amazon website on 21st Jan 2020. For the past few weeks, AC is behaving mysteriously to work intermittently. I raised a service complaint to Daikin and they had sent a technician to check and he reported that fault is at PCB and needs to be replaced. Daikin says that warranty for PCB is 5 years according to their website, but the technician and customer care says warranty is for 1 year if the AC was purchased before September 1.
Same AC model has PCB Warranty of 5 years if purchased after Sept 1 and before that we need to pay 10000 to get it replaced.
Its a pure scam done in the name of warranty. Technicians mentions that this Inverter has the same problem throughout everywhere. Are we supposed to spent 10K every year to get the AC working properly. This needs to be covered in warranty as well when the issue is seen in this model. Was this information helpful? |
Even I bought Daikin Inverter split AC on April 2019. PCB board failed in June 2023 and when checked in invoice it says 5 years warranty for PCB board failure. But technician said it covers for 1 year alone and purchased after Sep 1st only has 5 years coverage. This is completely a scam from a well known manufacturer.

Can I get soemone's attention on this issue ASAP and resolve my warranty issue.
