Sir, This is regarding seat reservation for ladies in DTC buses. . The rule says that the seat has to be vacated by any male passenger sitting in the seat reserved for ladies when there are any women passengers who ask for the same. But this does not happen at all. I travelled (567)from mayapuri to saferderjung and whenever I ask male passengers to vacate the seat, their usual reply is that, there is no reservation for ladies seat in transport. This is in spite of the fact that there are seats clearly marked for ‘Ladies’. If rule is applied when bus started then I think there is no need to reserve seat for women also they are mocking as women can travel free and now demanded reserve seat is totally wrong. After that they are criticising current govt for doing free travelling for women Almost all seats are occupied by men and the conductors and bus driver too, do not support women in getting seats Request you to look into the same and implement this strictly on all the interstate/state buses. I agree that things are going like she is saying but i don't think it's good to ask someone to get up from seat just because we are women, there should not be reserved seats for womens and there should be reserved seats only for disabled and senior citizens that is more right and good nowadays as bus is free for womens more women's using the facility and even then they are asking seats from men's aren't they human aren't they become tired too then why we just using the woman card and asking for seats i request DTC to remove ladies seat marked in buses so this problem should be resolved I'm a woman and I'm writing this bcz if we woman's asking for the right of equality then how can we fight over bus seats isn't it make us Hippocrates.
