THIS IS GANESH SON OF ECHS MEMBER , MY MOTHER AND FATHER HAS BAD EPR. ECHS LAST ONE MONTH THEY FLLOWPING FOR LETTER TO EMPLEND HOSPITAL JAHANGIR BUT THEY GIVING REPLY THAT WE CAN ISSUE A LETTER ONLY WHEN THERE IS EMERGENY CASE. IT MEANS THAT THEY WILL ISSUE LETTER ONLY ONE GOING TO THE LAST STAGE OF HIS LIFE TILL WE HAVE TO WAIT OR TAKE TREATMENT IN WANWADI HOSPITAL ,,, WHICH IS FAR AWAY FROM OUR HOUSE FATHER EVEN CANT SEE PROPERLY . It is mentioned that Clerks are presently not authorised to various polyclinics of ECHS. The said appt being working in various polyclinics all over the country are being paid rs 6000/- per month. On other hand the safaiwala who is on authorised strength of the said org is being taken Rs 6500/- per month, being on panel. Dear All
I admitted my patient to ECHS empanelled hospital with ECHS referral and cost approval.
But on the previous night of surgery doctor asked me upfront payment towards cost of surgery ( 4.0 lacs).
And he assured to return it when his bill will be passed by echs.

Looking towards seriousness of patient , i negotiated and settle the doc on 2.0 lacs.

SIR,

I am an ex serviceman, who has retired from Airforce. I happened to visit Echs poly clinic in Yelahanka Airforce station.The treatment which I received was very painful mentally.The rude behavior of the doctor mrs.RAmani was very unfortunate. When I have enquired about this to my friends near the area, they were all with same opinion.I request the authorities to do the needful and may examine her competitiveness....

Hi,

I am now 26 years old. Till now, I was not having any problem. Right now, I need to admit to any hospital. An officer told me that as you are dependent hence, your card gets expired when you cross 25 years age. Is that true? If it is then is there any way I can be benefited by any of the ECHS schemes. My father rank was Warrant officer (IAF).

i am doing BE ., in namakkal. i am one of the member in echs. i take treatment in this hospital.they did not give tablets for the hole month.they give local purchase only for 15 days. if i went after 15 days means they ask to come after one month. pls take action regarding this

Sir,
Yesterday i met Sh. Santokh Singh 81 yrs. retired Subedar suffering from CANCER was not being entertained for Test at Chandigarh Clinical Laboratries Ltd. Chandigarh Sector 15 due to non-visibility of his CARD Code No. at 8 a.m.
I will request to the authority to either emborse these numbers on the cards or put the list online alongwith their essencial information so that they could not be harrased at the time of treatment.br...

Dear sir

i am sorry to inform you that there is no care in silver oaks hospital mohali for army person.

they take heavy money from govt. for treating army person but actualy there is no care.

so my request is to cancel empanelment of silver oaks hospital so that no army person died due to non care my brother died in hospital.

Generally I observed that patients are visited the ECHC clinic face lot prob from ECHS clinic to further refer MH, civil hosp & back to ECHS clinic.

My experience with ECHS Ahmedabad

Visited ECHS, checked and refer to MH for surgical SPL
Find Ambulance but not availabe as knew that under repair.

Sir, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme is seen non-effective for most of the intentors because of following reasons:-
1. Referral by the concerned Poly Clinic is necessary. Those who are staying about 20 to 50 km away from registered Poly Clinic, will never travel so long to treat their illness; especially specilized medical services are available at their door steps.

im a son of ex service man living in bareilly up
here all the officials appointed by the government are not taking care of the people but they are adding up to their pains just because of the commision or what ever the reasons might be they are sending the patients to a hospital 15 km away n out of city if a single test is to be done they reffer to that hospital.
their are many patients who do not live in bareilly...

Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme(ECHS), under the Min of Defence, Govt of india has came into existence since Mar 2004. Till today there has been no EPF deduction made from the employees salary. We would like to know why the employer is not deducting the EPF contribution from our salary and deopsiting in the EPF Account of the respective employees....
