I had book Ford Figo on 11/03/2010 from Sequel Ford NAGPUR by giving booking amount 50000. At the time of booking dealer promice to give delivery within 10 days but after one month also dealer unable to give delivery and asking 20 days further.

Yes. I too agree with Vikrant..I booked my Figo on 16 March 2010 from Planet Ford Oune, still no idea when it will be delivered.
The dealer himself has no idea when will the vehicle come.
Yes. I also booked my Figo on 16 March 2010 from King Ford Vapi, still no clear picture above when i going to get the delivery of the car
Booked form Bhavana Ford Navi Mumbai No commitment regarding Delivery.Here too the dealer has no idea .Unfortunately advance payment has been also done
I am fully agree with the false delivery commitments by Ford.
I booked Figo Petrol Zxi chill color on th April. The Planet Ford, Pune committed the delivery within 25 days. Till date they had not confirmed the delivery. When i threated saying that I am going to cancel the booking both, The dealer and the executive on helpline is easily saying that tomorrow collect the cheque. So poor responce from both Ford dealer and Ford India. I registered complaint (no 9478329) but really fed up with Ford responce.

    I booked Ford Figo Titanium Deisel (Silver Color / Black Dashboard) on 21st March 2010 and I clearly told I want Delivery on 8th April 2010 as it is my Birthday. They told they will be able to deliver and taken the booking amount of 25k. Till date I have not received the car and if ask for what is the status they are unanserable? How many days you will give the Delivery? They are unable to answer? It is really a reticulus service from Talera Ford Yerwada Pune. When the Customer requirement is specific i.e Ford Figo Titanium Deisel (Silver Color / Black Dashboard). They are asking me to go for Sea Gray with Red Dash Board/ Silver with Red Dashboard / Chill Metalic with Red Dashboard which is not good from Customer Point of View. When requirement is clear they are not able to deliver?
    Good in Giving False Promises to Customers.
    Manager itself has accepted that Red Dashboard is flop design and people are not ready to accept the same.

    I too agree with Mr Kanse. I have booked Ford Figo Zxi Silver color with black dashboard from Planet Ford, Pune on 16 March 2010 but till now I have not got my car. And moreover the dealer himself dont know when the booking will happen. Instead they are asking me to go for red dashboard which I dont like. I too agree with Mr Kanse.       Sir,

      I have purchased Ford Fiesta ZXi Petrol Version during September 2009 at MPL Ford Chennai. After a week of purchase i noticed that the plastic parts used on the outer side of the vehicle are neither bad with lot of scratches not it was looking a little faded. When i took it to service centre in velachery, they said they will look in to it during 1st service stage. During service they had managed to polish the plastic parts (mirror holders, door glass strips and bottom plastic parts) and within 2 days the parts started looking faddy. Now it has become very worse were the parts gets faded very fast and when i left it for 2nd service they said they will look in to it. Now when i take the vehicle they say that i should send mail to Ford and get approval and then only they can change it (provided if ford permits). I spoke to ford customer care but no reply from them. Moreover during both service i found out lot of small and deep scratches on the body. I use the car only on weekends and i had run only 2,400 kms. During 2nd service they forced me to pay for oil and oil filter changes (they said that its ford warranty policy). Kindly forward this mail to service head and do the needful.

        We are having ford fiesta and Ford Endeavour. Our nearest dealer is Rajkot eagle ford.During selling of car they manage very well and they are expert but during the time of service of cars they never have any spare parts with them.Infact they are bound to keep stock of each and every spare parts specially the common parts to be there but they don't bother for same. They are behaving like commission agent and they order as and when require. for minimum alteration they keep cars for 3-4 days.Noone is responding promptly.
        I HAVE A REGULAR PROBLEM ABT MY FIESTA(PETROL) AVERAGE BUT NO ONE HAD IMPROVED IT...SINCE, 2006 WHN I PURCHASED THIS CAR I HVE A PROBLEM, IN EVERY SERVICE THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN NOTED BUT NO USE...FORD SERVICE IS SOO POOR..
        MY CAR NO. IS UP78 BP 6500(FIESTA PETROL)IT'S GIVING APPROX 5 KM/HR.(CHEAP)...
        CAN U SOLVE MY PROBLEM???????

        Its a Regular Problem for all the customer of Ford including me. They all are blackmailers. So My advise is to Just Change these Vechile. Please do not buy any models of Ford.

          Car starts but seems diesel is not flowing smothly. Try to do the pumping manualy by compressing the Rubber (Like Bus horn provide near the engine) . For 3 - 5 Minutes and then start, it will start.

          When we stop after reaching the destination, if return back to car within say 5 minuts it will start.

          If we delay more than 2 - 3 hours it will start but cuts off.

          When we repeat the above exercise, it will start.

          What is the likely problem & how we should get it rectified ?

          Indicate time required and cost if any.

          Till date, we had absolute no problem of any type.

              Dear Customer care,


              What is the fun behind writing that our vehicle is ready for delivery at your dealership.....

              We are visiting your dealership from last 10 days and every time they say that vehicle is getting ready.....

              Last time I visited on 3:00pm dated 05.04.2010 at your dealership BHAGAT FORD for the delivery of the car but of no use.
              Firstly they even taken the payment from us by draft number 802159 amount 201825/= but when they found that there is problem with the vehicle they takan back the receipt very smartly from us and cancelled the receiptand told us to come next at 11am to pick the vehicle.

              But again the same problem is their, we are sitting since 11am and they are just reparing the vehicle.

              Then we called at your customer care number [protected] and had a word with Mrs. Parimala but she told that our complaint number 9269950 is closed because vehicle is ready for delivery but when we insisted her, she given us a new complaint number 9347759....


              Please advice, should we deserve complaint numbers only after waiting for two months.

              And the guy who is sitting as a service incharge Mr. NEERAJ GARG is not giving us proper time and telling us that we have to wait for 10 minutes after every ten minutes...

              If you are not able to resolve the complaint then please let us know within next three hours so that we can take appropriate action against the bad services we are getting..............

              Its really shameless..i required test drive for petrol car ur exequtive name vikram .
              he commited two days regurlarly but he didnt compleet his words.
              as he ruined our time we decided for i10 car.
              because if ford before sale service is this then what will after sale service?

              True, ford has a very bad service. It will take a decade for them to improve on manpower and logistics. I will never choose or recommend ford
              its very true, the people at ford and particularly at bhagat ford ludhiana are real shameless and illiterate ones.The heights of non proffessionalism reflects in their dealing with customers, coz they treat customer as if he is a culprit that he chose and went with buying a ford product. The service people particularly at higher posts who are responsible for their subordinates are themselves non co-operative . Its sorry state, but if things keep going such way then its not a far off day when ford may loose its client base only because of its after sale service,

                I had purchased Ford Ikon 1.4 IKool (Engine No. 9C14699 ) on 02/01/10 from your esteemed dealer - Swarn Cars Pvt Ltd – 109/362, G.T. Road, Jarib Chowki, Kanpur, U.P.

                My registration no. is UP78-BY-4039.

                Its been just three months and my life has become hell. I am facing trouble every now and then.

                Issues at the time of Repairs – 18/01/10:

                Earlier my car had met with an accident and the repairs were done in Harpreet Motors Pvt Ltd. – 8/1-A, Site-IV, Sahibabad, Ind. Area, Ghaziabad. I had already faced a lot of issue in getting the repairs done in time. It took more than 15 days for them to deliver my car. The worst part was I had to wait for three hours to take the delivery of my car as 64 VB compliance was not done. Imagine, I was there to take delivery of my car after fifteen days, all the repairs were done, Bill was ready but 64 VB compliance was not done with the insurance company. This shows the professionalism of your Harpreet Motors Pvt Ltd.
                Then I had clearly mentioned things to be repaired but which were not done –

                1. Back seat hook was not fixed.

                2. Light focus was not adjusted.

                Issue after first service – 23/02/10:

                After almost 24 days of the above repair, my car’s service was due. Hence on 23/02/10, I had sent my car for first free service. This was the time when the bigger trouble began. I got my car back the same day from Harpreet Motors Pvt Ltd. but to my surprise I found that my car’s A.C. was not working. I called the service manager – Mr Pankaj Bahl (who, in my opinion, has no manners of speaking to customers) who requested me to send the car to showroom again for check up next day. Since I was leaving for Jim Corbett on 24/02/10, I requested Mr Bahl to get the repairs done the same day as without a.c. it would be quite pain to travel. I was advised that the car’s A.C. pipe is cracked which will not be available before three to four days. There was also argument about the reason of this cracked pipe. Mr Bahl suggested that the pipe got cracked at the time of accident. I argued that how can the a.c. work for 24 days if it got damaged in accident. As there was no trouble with the a.c. after I got the delivery on 29/01/10 till 23/02/10 when the first service was done at their showroom. I was sure that some mistake/error has been done by the service men while doing the regular service.

                Mr Bahl gave a temporary solution by filling the gas again suggesting that the a.c. will work with this gas for three to four days and by that time the pipe will be available to which I agreed. Forget about three to four days, all the gas leaked in just three hours and stopped working the same day. I had no choice but to leave for Jim Corbett without A.C. I was really annoyed as the weather was too hot. I had to first go to Kanpur and then had to proceed to Jim Corbett with my friends. I travelled more than 1200 kms without A.C. When I came back, the new pipe was fixed which lasted for four days.

                First pipe was changed on 06/03/10

                The pipe was changed and it lasted for fifteen days.

                Second pipe was changed on 22/03/10

                The pipe was changed and it lasted for just seven days. The a.c. stopped working on 29/03/10 while I was on my way to Kanpur. I took my car to Swarn Motors Pvt Ltd and was informed that the pipe will be available only after three days. I was really annoyed. I left the car there and told them I will be going back to Noida on 03/04/10. They arranged the pipe within three days. I also got my second service done as the car had travelled more thanm 10000 kms.

                Third pipe was changed on 03/04/10

                The pipe was changed and it lasted for just two days. The a.c. stopped working on 30/03/10.
                Now, I am fed up with changing pipes and wasting my time. I have already gone through a lot of mental, and physical stress because of my car. Infact, I don’t like sitting in my car anymore. I never imagined that I was paying so much money for all this trouble. Please, either give me a permanent solution or help me in getting rid of this car. Earlier, I was driving a Hyundai car. In two years, I had not faced a single issue. With Ford, my car has visited workshop seven times.

                  Hi,

                  My name is HarshDeep Arora resident of H.No 821 (FF), Sector 4, Panchkula 134112, HARYAN. I bought brand new Ford Figo 1.2 P BSIV Titanium (Chill Metallic) Chasis No. MAJ1XXMRJ1AY79447, Engine No. AY79447 vide Invoice No - VSLA900423LS dt. 27/3/2010, Allotment No. ALTA900411AL, Orer No. GEEA900423TH from Saluja Motoers Pvt. Ltd., 53, Industrial Area, Phase I, Chandigarh last week which has barely done 900 kms and now i realize the big mistake i committed by selecting Ford. Right from day one the car has been pulling towards left and the excuse i get from dealer is that of migration that i made from a non power steering car to a power steering one. I wonder who and what kind of pre-delivery checks have been performed over the car.

                  And something that is really a big concern is the sound coming from inside the gear box (identified by the ford dealer) when shifting from IInd to IIIrd gear. The dealer says there
                  is something wrong insdie the gear box, which will be replaced. However; the point of concern here is the car has barely completed its one week of operation and the gear box
                  needs to be replaced.

                  To me as a customer this is completly unacceptable, as i paid money for a brand new product for its smooth operations and not for the new product to be repaired in the workshop. I will not want it to be repaired and will want the car to be replaced with a new one or else a complete refund of my money along with the compensation for mental harassment. And if need be i will take the help of court of law (read consumer forum) and print media (all prominent news papers, automotive journal and online blogs). After spending so much money why on earth i should get a repaired product which indicates bad workmanship and product being not being upto the tall claims made by the company.

                  I am completely unsatisfied by just a weeks experience of being a ford owner. Rather i feel like i have been cheated and i bought concerns and worries by paying money instead of a new car. A brand new car is suppose to work and not to be ripped apart at the dealer's service facility after just a week of operation.

                  I am a service person and employeed with a company, who can't spare time every now and then as asked for Ford dealer to get car repaired. I have to attend to my office duties as well.

                  Please look into the matter at the earliest.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  Regret to inform you that I have booked Ford figo model zxi, white in color 15 day back from Delhi’s showroom. When I asked about the delivery of car to the ford executives they are not giving any response, even more they are offering other model and other color, since I told him several times not to give me any suggestion regarding the model /color of the car .



                  Today my father went to showroom and asked for status of the booked car, then one of the ford executive told my father that price of the booked car has been increased and they will not be able to provide the booked car on the previous rate: the story does not end here when my father asked for the justification regarding the increase of the price of the car then he start abusing my father about not to teach them how to behave. I also called him at the same moment and he start abusing me too .Here are some wording that ford executive told us



                  He said: “Boss we will not give you the car, cancel your booking and leave from here “. I said that I will complaint against you then he said “do what you want”. This was a totally ridicules behavior from ford executive.

                  The behavior was totally unbelievable.

                  I am asking from you shall I look for some other cars or still for ford.

                  Hi,

                  I purchased a Ford Figo TDCI ZXI Model on the 16th March 2010, from the time I purchased the Vehicle I noticed the noise made by the Engine in Ford is more than any other Vehicle in its class example Maruthi Swift, Maruthi Ritz, Tata Indica Vista and Fiat Punto. All the names I mentioned are based on the same technology CRDI except Fiat Punto which is on MPFI. When I compared the Engine noise with Ford Fiesta & ford Ikon I noticed that the noise filtration of the engine is a lot better than Figo, I complained the same at the showroom at Begumpet Hyderabad (Mody Ford), They told me that this was normal, What I don’t understand is when the Engine for Fiesta is same as Figo then why so much noise?

                  The above mentioned problem is just the beginning, every day I notice the car I find the Finishing and the quality to be sad, Mentioned below are a few examples of what I am talking
                  1. The Left Side Passenger door has Wax moldings in Brown Color on a Black car, This is very much visible
                  2. The Back Boot space door has a very prominent Gap between the Right side alignment and Left side alignment, The Left side alignment is really more and the GAP is prominently visible
                  3. On the Side doors the paint Job has not been completed to perfection, one can still see the White lines; this is the paint composite that’s used before the paint job is completed.
                  4. The Coolant Fan inside the Hood runs so loudly, my neighbors tease saying that a Jet engine had landed.
                  I was supposed to go for Hyundai I20, I made an advance payment to Kun Hyundai for Rs 50, 000.00 and cancelled reading a lot of reviews that Ford never compromises on Quality, however when I got the Delivery of the Vehicle I am shocked and Surprised and now think I made a wrong choice of Vehicle.

                  I took the Vehicle for Inspection to Mud Ford service centre in hyderbad Kharkhana area, the mechanics said that the noise is normal and there is nothing to worry about. I can get you guys the Photographs of my Vehicle with whatever problems I mentioned above.

                  I request someone to take this up seriously and solve my problem. Please compare other Engines and other vehicles with mine and then give me an opinion.

                  My Vehicle Engine number is AY79155 & Chassis number is MAJIXXMRJI.
                  Welcome to the Ford family we're all disgruntled on one front, thats' after sales service. In a few words " at Ford does not exist". I had bought a ford Fusion in end of December 2007. A cooling problem was noticed the following summer in March 2008. The at my Ford service center kept the car for 4 weeks, pulled apart the dashboard and replaced an expansion valve. In the process they gave me a rattle snake in the dashboard which to this day exists somewhere in there. I have complained about this innumerable times to Ford management at Chennai and they have had a lot of people look at the problem but no one has been able to decisively fix it.

                  This is just one of the many problems you would hear about from fellow Ford car owners. It's a very minor rattle but the big thing is that after repeated efforts no one at FORD has been able to resolve it... they gave it to me for free and with very little effort but not even one technician at ford(I've tried different dealers as well) has been able to fix it.

                  They make great cars but the after sales service and the workshops are sadly still in he dark ages.
                  I own ford mondeo .it has done 80000km.I gave it for routine service.cargo baroda charge me around 26000rupee.same day after servicing on the way home it stop.since than no answer from com. Paid 19lakh, 7y back for the vehicle.all services was done on time.since four month no answer.
                  Ford Figo is one of the worst cars that anyone can buy, the service people always end up saying that everything is allright and within Ford India specifications. What they really mean is that Indians are below standard and we have make do with whatever is sold to us. If Ford India is really genuinely concerned about good customer service, the least they can do is to get feedback from all customers who have been reporting problems and "rectify" them all as a genuine gesture of good will and replace all parts if necessary at their cost.

                  1. Suspension very hard
                  2. Headlights not at all good, infact dangerous
                  3. Windscreen reflects the dashboard and the image superimposes on the front vision throwing a customer's driving to hazardous visibility
                  4. Road Clearance is pathetic when fully loaded
                  5. Mileage is the worst
                  6. Doors and Body have odd sounds
                  7. Brakes create a lot of sounds even on Models which have ABS
                  8. Worst Pickup in 2nd Gear even on normal roads with AC on
                  9. Back Windows start to slide down on thier own
                  10.
                  11... the list can be endless

                    We have purchased the Ford Endevour - 4 x 4 AT on 29.3.2010 and the diesel is leaking from the vehicle, the tyre allignment also seems defective. But the showroom says it is not their responsibility to look into the matter and referred us to the workshop who gave us an appointment on 3.3.2010. Meanwhile the fuel is continuing to leak from below. We assume there is some manufacturing defect therefore we had requested the showroom that the vehicle should be changed telephonically and through email.

                      I had given my Ford Ikon for Servicing at the NCR Ford Service Center in South Delhi. The car was brought in for regular servicing and I had requested for the following add-ons:

                      1. Dry Cleaning of the Interiors
                      2. Tail light replacement
                      3. Tyre Rotation (which is part of the regular servicing package, but I mentioned it specifically)

                      When I received the car back, the interiors of the car were utterly filthy and absolutely unusable. There was food on the seats, indicating that someone had eaten while sitting in that car; there was dirt on the floor, which was previously not there; and there were leaves all over the insides of the car and even in the boot.

                      The tyres were not rotated AT ALL, and in fact, my spare wheel was replaced by someone else's damaged wheel. This aspect, of replacement of the spare tyre, was noticed when I recently opened up the boot to get air filled into the tyre.

                      The service center also went on to add an added expense - of changing the radiator fan, which they claimed was running at a single speed (because the fan has two speed settings). The fan, in fact, was in perfect shape and did not require changing. In any case, whenever the service center changes a part, they are supposed to give us the old part as that belongs to us. However, there was no old part and they claimed that they had thrown it away, by mistake. Also, if there is any modification, fixing or repair that has to be carried out, the service center is required to inform me of the damage, as without my approval, they cannot carry out any such repairs that are chargeable.

                      They didn't care to do as much.

                      This was my worst experience with a service center ever and for 6 years, I have taken the car to another center of Ford, without any trouble. It was because the old center shut down that I had to get my car into the new place. I don't know if there is anything that writing on this forum will do but if there is, I hope that something happens about it.

                      I sent my Ford Icon for noise in front right side. They replaced literally every thing which was taken back by my driver and the noise was still there.
                      I checked that all the parts were as good as new condition and never needed replacement.

                      I want to say that car agencies / workshops replaces parts for money . They want to replace parts to the maximum for good sales of spare parts.

                      I have also come to know that these days they do not replace the engine oil and charge for it. Some times they change 50 % of the engine oil and charge for oil change.

                      This problem is more common in New Delhi and surrounding dealerships.

                      Pl. be alert and send your complaints to the company directly.

                      Do not buy cars which do not have counter sales of spares for you. If you want a spare part they will not sell you they want to fit it in your car. they want you to take your your car to 100 kms to fix a wheel cover also???? check

                      Hi,

                      The same happened with me with NCR Ford Faridabad service center. I asked them that RPM goes down in the morning when i start my car. so they cleaned some sensor but forget to link the coupler of that sensor. and if it is not connected then your car's RPM will be at 200-300.and car will switched off again and again. I told them that this is not correct but they gave me back my car and said that it will automatically tuned up since after washing of a car there may me some water drops on the engine so RPM is down.

                      there was some noise in my car alternator bearing and mechanic suggested me to change that alternaor which costs around 9K. i asked from him to repair the bearing and he said that in the service center i cant do it but you can call me at you home and i will do that.

                      He is actually want his business outside the service center.

                        Sub: Complaint against Victoria Ford for causing damage to my personal vehicle bearing registration number AS01Y9535.

                        Dear Sir,

                        1. This is to intimate you that I, Squadron Leader S K Pandey, a commission officer of Indian Air Force posted at Air Force Station Barrackpore, received an SMS from TM-VICTORIA
                        on my mobile no.[protected] on 22Mar10 at 1833hrs stating the following "Navaratri is here! Victoria Ford offers 10% off on labour and free pick up and drop, top wash till 31st of March, so avail the opportunity, Plz contact 23457758/60, [protected], [protected],[protected]”.

                        2. I decided to avail this facility and therefore contacted Victoria Ford through aforesaid contact nos. I finally could speak to your Manager Ms Ranjana (mobile no.[protected]) on 24Mar10 at about 1645hrs and registered my car AS01Y 9535 for free pick up and drop from my residence. I also intimated the following problems in the vehicle which required inspection and replacement of parts as per requirement. Ms Ranjana booked my car complaint over phone and conveyed that a driver will be coming to my residence on 25 Mar10 to pick up the vehicle for servicing and repair of the undermentioned snags.

                        (a) Abnormal sound from the fan belt area under the bonnet.
                        (b) Hydraulic oil leak from the power steering system.
                        (c) Suspected leak of Engine oil.

                        3. On 25 Mar10 at 0930hrs (appx) the driver contacted me on my mobile and introduced himself as Mr. Abbas Ali, a Victoria Ford employee and asked for my residential address from where my vehicle was suppose to be picked up. The driver reported to the Main Guard Room of Air Force Station Barrackpore, at 1130hrs on same day. I was informed by security staff on duty at main guard room that Mr Abbas Ali of Victoria Ford has come to meet me. I informed the security staff that I am coming to main Guard Room in my vehicle to meet Mr. Abbas Ali. Following which I drove down to the Main Guard room and met Mr .Abbas Ali .He was wearing his identity card around his neck and a Ford collar batch hooked on to his shirt’s collar. I decided to accompany him to the workshop of Victoria Ford. During our casual discussions he informed me that he was not at all satisfied working with Victoria Ford as they paid him just Rs 4000/-only and tasked him for more that 12hrs daily. He even requested me to arrange a better job for himself.

                        4. After travelling for a distance of approximately 5 to 6 kilometres, near Barrackpore Chiriamore there was some unusual jerking in the vehicle and the vehicle was not picking up speed, however the vehicle moved slowly up to Talpukur and came to a standstill. The driver stopped the vehicle on the road side, opened the bonnet and touched various electrical fittings probably to check for any lose connections. After this he tried to start the vehicle but same problem persisted. Some help from nearby motor garage mechanics also did not yielded any result.

                        5. The driver Mr. Abbas Ali then contacted their workshop and asked for the recovery team to recover the vehicle from Talpukur to Victoria Ford. Meanwhile, I also spoke to Ms Ranjana and requested her to do the needful. She assured me of all assistance and also advised me to discuss the issue with Mr Sunil Chamal, DGM of you company. I then called up DGM Mr Sunil Chamal, and requested him to do the needful at the earliest. He assured me with the following words “Pandeyji don’t worry, the vehicle is now under our control and it is our morale responsibility that we take all necessary steps to recover the vehicle and further rectify all the snags registered by your complaint at the earliest and now you can comfortably carry on with your other commitments.”

                        6. Having such assurance from none other than the DGM of your company, I went back home peacefully. At about 1645hrs the driver called me up from a mobile no. and confirmed me that two technicians from their workshop have reached the breakdown site and have started the rectification task. I asked him that from whose mobile he was calling. He replied back saying that it was one of the mechanics mobile no. I told him that I am also coming to the site to see the rectification task. At about 1710hrs I reached the site and saw Victoria Ford Mechanics working on my vehicle. I identified them with their identity card. I enquired from them about the problems that have occurred in the vehicle .One of the mechanic, Mr Sushanto Das told me that malfunctioning of the fuel pump was suspected by them and they were in the process of replacing it with a new one. I was present on site until the rectification work got completed and the vehicle declared serviceable. The vehicle was thereafter driven down by the driver with mechanics siting inside the car to your workshop. I came back home at about 1800hrs.

                        7. When I did not receive any information from your workshop about my vehicle’s arrival until 1945hrs, I decided to call them up. I enquired with DGM Mr. Sunil whereabouts of my vehicle and he replied that he will check-up with the workshop staff and get back to me. When I did not receive any further information until 2000hrs, I called up the mobile no. of the mechanic, the driver answered the mobile and informed me that my car caught fire due to some short circuit and a fire brigade was being called for extinguishing the fire. I was totally shocked by the news whereas my wife got unconscious. I have always cared for my vehicle in the same way as I do for my child and such an incidence happening to my car actually broke me from inside. I did not know what to do now. At about 2030hrs the driver again called me up and informed me that the police have ceased the vehicle and I have to come to the Karaya police station, Beck Bagan to resolve the issue.

                        8. At about 2045hrs I hired a Taxi from Barrackpore Chiriamore and started for Karaya police station. In between I received a call from DGM Mr. Sunil and he informed me that, he along with his team members are waiting at the Karaya police station for me. At about 2200hrs I reached the Karaya police station and saw my car which was fully burned. I broke into tears and could not control myself. DGM Mr. Sunil, who was already available at the police station, saw me and came up to me and introduced himself me. After this he also introduced his administrative head, sales head and technical head those were present at the site to me. I met all these people for the first time. He told me not to report the matter with police and Victoria Ford will compensate me for the damages. I asked him that how Victoria Ford is going to compensate me for the damages, for which he had no answer. I went up to meet the officer-in-charge of the police station Mr.Aloke Kumar Ghosh. Mr. Ghosh gave a patience listening to my pain and agony and told me to come next day at about 1400hrs.I came down and told DGM Mr. Sunil that the Officer-in-charge of karaya police station has called me tomorrow and I request you and your concerned staff to come tomorrow at the same time.

                        9. On 26 mar 10 at 1230hrs (appx.) I hired a vehicle again from Barrackpore and reached Karaya police station at about 1415hrs. After looking all around I came to know that nobody from Victoria Ford has turned up today. Hence I discussed all my problems and agony with SI Mr. Prabal Roy.

                        10. Sir, I want to bring to your kind notice that I am very fond of my vehicle and love to maintain it always like a new vehicle, it is as close to my heart as my child is and I have tried my level best to keep the vehicle self driven only. I deeply trusted your company and that is the only reason why I had handed over the vehicle to your driver and mechanic. I suspect that the fuel pump which was replaced by your mechanic at breakdown site was not properly replaced or there must be some thing wrong with the associated electrical connections, which most probably could have been the cause of short circuit leading to fire. The driver of the vehicle was also mentioning about some short circuit when I enquired about the cause of the accident from him.

                        11. Sir, I only request you to kindly intervene into the matter and help me in getting my vehicle back in same condition as I had offered to your company staff on 25Mar10. I want my car to be repaired to original shape or else be replaced by a similar one. I also want you to take definite actions against your concerned staff for total negligence on their part of duty and inefficient handling of on site snag rectification on such a costly car. This incident could have easily led to the damage or loss of public property and precious lives because the fire took place in a crowded public place. I request you to initiate stern action against that the negligent staff of your company. I also want to intimate you that very shortly I will be posted out from Air Force Station Barrackpore to Air Force Station Bhatinda; hence an early solution to my grievances is prayed in your good office.

                        I want to bring to your kind notice that "Victoria ford, kolkata" has finally accepted its fault in causing damage to my personal vehicle bearing registration number AS01Y9535.They have also accepted that they are very new in the field of automobile dealership and have to grow up a lot in the technical field. They have come to a compromise with me and have compensated me for my damages. Hence I take my complaint back on the note of "compromise and compensation" with "Victoria ford, kolkata" .I sincerely thank all the readers of this site for providing all support to me in getting justice. I also thank "complaints.com" site for giving me an opportunity to post my views on their site and helping me to get justice.                           On 20th Aug, my Ford Fiesta stopped midway. The Ford Dealer in Lucknow – Narain Ford currently has the vehicle for servicing in the workshop. Since then they are not giving clear answers for reason of the fault. Now they have mentioned that the Improved Air Duct Fitment as specified by Ford Company has not been done leading to this fault as a result of which the engine has seized and shall require the full engine to be repaired at owner cost. I have traced out my service slips dated 3rd May & 28th May (enclosed) both of Narain Ford agency itself wherein the vehicle has been taken for the same fitment. It seems that the fitment for which the Ford agency took the vehicle has actually not been carried out leading to this failure. Hence the responsibility for replacement of engine should be with Ford Company as this is due to negligence by the agency.

                          I believe that the agency is aware if this hence is not provided clear details to the undersigned even after 15 days.

                          Kindly help as i am getting no respite.

                          Ford fiesta car — Noise while driving

                          I purchased Ford Fiesta in 2008. After a year, the car started making noise when we take a turn to left. Inspite of complains and check-ups, the problem reoccurs and the company is now not at all interested to contact me to sort out the problem
                          Very true.I own a fiesta too.I have the same problem.I have already changed the spare and now again got the same problem.Noise while turn to left and right.I have already changed most of the parts except engine.Ford need to be improved.

                            I am owner of Ford Fiesta 1.4 EXI(d) with Identification no. 7L48935, AND CAR registration no. CH-O4-A-8161 which I bought on 5th Sept,2007 from Bhagat Ford, Chandigarh.

                            I laid my trust on Ford brand, decided to buy the peace of mind and feel the difference of comfort and driving experience.

                            For the same, I am carrying all my services almost as per mentioned schedule and at Bhagat Ford Chandigarh only.

                            In the process, i am also taking extended warranty every year after 1st year so that maintainence of my car is in expert's hands. So my car is still in warranty till Sept,2010.

                            Unfortunately, last week on thursday,18th March at 3 pm, I was on highway(around 15 kms from Bhagat Ford Chandigarh service centre) when my car stopped and was not starting. I called my service centre helpline at [protected], [protected] of Bhagat ford, Chandigarh to help me in towing away the car and bring it to their service centre.

                            Initially, they did not pick my call and on picking, their response was complete unprofessional and they responded that it would take them min. two hours to reach at the site. I was really left on highway asking for help but without any response from Bhagat Ford people. Somehow, I managed to take help and bring car to Service centre at 5.30 pm.

                            They said they need to check the problem and will get back to me next day morning. they did not revert next day morning and than I made a call to them at [protected] asking for status of car which they said is not clear to them as they need to check it first and it could be some fault in engine. I kept calling them continously till yesterday, but they did not respond to my calls at all.

                            Today morning(i.e after 7 days) they have called me and confirmed that your car is not covered under warranty and you yourself have to bear the expenses for the same which would be approximately between 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh.

                            You are requested to please understand and help me in this regard that

                            I am in no position to bear the expenses when I have taken extended warranty on my car.

                            Local Bhagat Ford representatives have been telling that the expenses will not be borne by Ford, as you have missed the services, which was not at all communicated to me when I was actually getting warranty extended. Bhagat Ford representatives themselves approached me for extension of warranty last year in sept,09.

                            As a company of such repute, how can an Engine develop fault within 2.5 yrs.. I should not be anyways held responsible for bearing the expenses which was technical and service failure at your company's and representatives end.

                            let me re-confirm that I can not pay such a huge amount for the in-effiecieny and technical failure on part of your company and channel partners.

                            Sir, you are requested to please look into the matter urgently and cover these expenses under warranty and help me being a loyal customer of yours.

                              i had finance amount paid through hdfc bank rs. 521350.00. that time company committed 40000.00 less. than company billed to car rs.655167.00 dt- 31/12/2009.
                              that is OK but access amount of rs. 66183.00 is don't refund till date i have demand that my refund amount they false commit every day. please suggest to me what i do.

                                I have a very very very bad experience from ford. I booked my car Ford Figo - Silver,Titanium,Diesel on February 18th 2010, even before actually seeing a ford figo..at Kairali Ford Trivandrum. Since I already own a ford fiesta and hence a great fan of Ford. The salesperson told me i am the first guy booking from trivandrum, Kerala and so will be delivering the first vehicle to me. Waited for a month patiently so that ford will deliver me since I have booked even before seeing a ford figo and also before making a test drive.On 18th from newspapers i came to know that ford have already delivered ford figos at Cochin & trivandrum.Then I conacted kairali and the response was very frustrating. The sales person last told me that the siver colour may take one more week and also that I have to switch to chill colour if I want one ford figo titanium soon. I was forced to do so. Still now no news

                                I too have booked for figo zxi on 12 march and was promised by mpl ford chennai that the delivery will be done by end of march. However till this moment i haven't got any positive reply from dealers end. I hereby request the concern person to take immediate action against mpl ford for giving a false information on delivery of car and dodging us and not giving us the true picture.

                                I have already informed the same to Ford customer care and yet to get a revert from them. I am dissappointed by the way these dealers handle thier customer. Hope Some one does the needful.

                                I have also booked Ford Figo Diesel Titanium with Diamond White colour & Black dashboard on 10.03.2010 with A.B. Motors (P) Ltd., Fountain Chowk, The Mall, Patiala by giving cheque of booking amount worth Rs. 25000=00. The date of delivery promised & mentioned on booking slip is 28.03.2010. Now, the ford dealer is delaying the delivery for indefinite period for undisclosed reason and even not responding to my phone calls. It has created doubt about marketing pattern of ford company and I believe that my car has been sold to some other person at premium by the dealer. Is there anybody to question the working of the company? Is the Patiala dealer answerable to anyone? Whether the officers of company will take pain to direct the dealer to immediately hand over delivery of car to me?
                                I Have booked my Ford Figo ZXi-Petrol Black colour on 24/03/2010(Though gave the colour confirmation on 27/03/2010).I have been promised delivery on 10/04/2010.I don't think that is going to happen as the dealer is not able to give me the status of my car as of now.Not even able to give any logical explanation.

                                They keep telling that they will call with the status in a day or two.They are not even bothered to give a courtesy call saying not sure about the status.

                                Guess we do't have any option other than waiting...
                                I have booked my Ford Figo ZXI - Petrol silver color with black dashboard on 16-Mar-2010 from Planet Ford, Bibwewadi, Pune. At the time of booking I was promised that the delivery will be made max by 25 March. But till now I have not got my car delivered, even these people are not exactly aware of the reason for the delay.Every time when I call the they give some or the other reason and also do not bother to call and tell me about the status each time I have to call them.
                                Very upset with their attitude. Highly unprofessional.
                                Does this mean - Ford is not ready to support the demand?
                                I too booked a Ford Figo Zxi Sea grey color on 18th March 2010 at Metro Ford Palace Ground Bangalore. They promised to deliver within 30th march. 4 weeks over and i am still counting. The Sales head at metro ford is instead asking me to have patience as thats the only thing he can sell right now.
                                Booked Ford Figo zxi on 18th March with a downpayment of 25 K but have not heard any news of it till now. Note the funny excusses that have been provided to me.

                                2. even after 4 week my order has not gone into production

                                Let me introduce myself as an aficionado of Maruthi and was about to book Maruthi Ritz. When I took test drive of Ford Figo, I was very much impressed and decided to go for it. I booked Ford Figo (Titanium, diesel, moon dust silver) on 13th March'10 and made the full payment of Rs. 6, 05, 000.

                                When I did the booking, the sales engineer promised that the car will be delivered between 27th to 30th March. I had disposed my old car on 1st April believing his words. Today it is 15th April... and I do not have any visibility on the delivery. I had contacted the Chennai Ford manager and to my shock he coolly said that the delivery will happen only by April end!

                                It appears to me that just to complete the target, the sales team has made false promise on the delivery. If they had told me that the delivery will take 2-3 months...then I would have gone for Maruthi Ritz
                                I had booked a ford figo ZXI through Metro ford Bangalore on 19th March based on a committment from their sales executive that they would deliver the vehicle by 31/3/10.
                                However till date neither have i got the car nor any committment from them as to when i would get my vehicle. Everytime i ask them regarding the delivery they sing the same song "Ford is not delivering the vehicle"
                                Ford has to take some responsibility for the present state of affair. Ford has issued a statement that they have received 10, 000 bookings last month but they have not mentioned how many they have delivered.
                                Ford should stop taking further booking till they clear the backlogs.

                                I booked Ford figo 1.2 zxi petrol (sea grey) in Chennai Ford on 13th March 2010, at the time of booking they said delivery is 1st week of april based on that i arrange the loan and settle the loan to Chennai ford 2nd April, Now alomost i paid rs.3.80 lak now they said vechicle delivery approx 15th may.                                 Same experience not sure whether this is some marketing gimmick from Ford Figo, have booked a figo ZXI last month but yet to recieve delivery date..no answer with the dealer who is asking us to wait, but till when, i suppose Ford is testing patience to push their red ip car's as thats what they have piled up the stocks for..

By reading all the reviews, now I am in dilemma that will stick to their words for the date of delivery which they provide at booking. Waiting prompt replys !
                                Booking car online is the best option to save some precious time. Many online sites are available to booking car online. I came across to this website www.cartradeindia.com this site has good details on car product with form base line to top models of all the International and Indian auto brands.

                                Ford Figo is actually a lovely hatch back car in its segment and in reasonable rate too. the delivery is a lot of problem with car showroom, its better to book cars online.
                                I V.B.Patel, Doordarshan Kendra Lucknow booked a figo car, diamond white, petrol, LXI Model at Narayan ford, Shahnajaf Road Lucknow on[protected], for which I deposited Rs. two lakhs but till date I am not being told the current status of the car. Dealer told me that I will be able to provide the status only when car will in transit. I have already done complaints in this regard but no feed back is given till date. Kindly let me know the current status of the car.

                                Never believe that u are going to get the vehicle from the dealers on committed date... i[censored] want ford vehicles just book and wait for the day to come.. when ever it is comfortable they will deliver it (may happen surprisingly)... don't call them for asking the status of the booked car.. they wont like it... u are not having any rights to ask them question after paying the whole amount...

                                Especially Kairali Ford - Trivandrum... Never believe these guys...

                                One day Ford Comapny itself get closed completely from India only becasue of the untimate service given by the ford dealers !! Take my words!!
                                Dealer always careless with customer my vhical deliver after 20 days from body shop before one and half months and do not check lower portion of vhical due to this water inning problem generated with in 2 days after delivery over all services of Ford Delmar Is very poor Ford India customer care also not responding last 48 hours to solve the customer problem

                                  I have given my Ford Fiesta car for a paid service on 15-Feb-2010 at 3PM based on a prior service appointment at Lathangi Ford, Bangalore. In the service station, they introduced me to a newly joined service.I explained my car problem to him and he noted all my issues in the Repair Order. I raised 4 problems that are neglected/unattended by the service advisor during the service. The issues were:

                                  1. The fog lamp is loose and need to fix it.
                                  2. The A/c is not cooling well.
                                  3. The cup holder came out from the base, so want to fix again
                                  4. There is a small jerking problem while apply the break

                                  At the time of Repair Order creation; service advisor promised me that he will fix these issues at the time of delivery. I also asked him to change the Engine Oil (Mobil 1), Coolant, Air Filter and Oil Filter. He made the Job Order with an estimate of 8000/- rupees (for fixing these issues including service) and asked me to come on 16-Feb-2010 at 11AM. This is mentioned in Repair Order also.

                                  While I called service advisor on 16-Feb-2010 at 11.30AM, he attended the call and told he was traveling. He called back at 2.30PM and asked my approval for replacing the break pad and break disks which will cost around 6000/-+ taxes extra. I told him not to go ahead with the replacement. He also advised me that break will work as previously; but the jerking will remain as such!!! He called me at 5.15PM and asked me to collect the vehicle between 5 to 5.30PM.

                                  I came to Lathangi Ford for collecting my vehicle around 5.20PM. I found that the car was not cleaned properly. The floor mat was in wet condition. Then I requested them to do a vacuum cleaning to remove the water. I opened the bonnet for checking the coolant level and engine oil. Then I noticed that the battery container was filled with water and oil (while I asked the service advisor about it; he told it was not water but was polish!!!). I am just wondering Lathangi is very much interested to fill my Battery container with polish !!.

                                  Near to the engine, most of the pipes/hoses were filled with sand and oils. I requested again to wipe out the water from these places. I also found mud in the under body of the car which means that they didn’t even did an underbody wash. While I asked the service advisor about it, he said that they have the facility for under body wash and if I want to see the facility; he would show me the facility. If Lathangi Ford has the facility, then why didn’t he wash the under body of the car properly?

                                  The fog lamp was not fixed properly. At the time of service delivery, I asked why it is not done. Then he said that he forgot it. Then he said I need to replace the complete fog lamp set with additional cost of 3000/- which he didn’t inform me till the delivery time. If he was aware of that issue, why didn’t he inform me in advance or during job order time? It is very sad to know that Ford authorized service station like Lathangi Ford can’t fix even a fog lamp!!! Ford Service Advisor also said that Ford makes spare parts only for the latest model and so the spare parts for my 2.75 year old car will not be available at all. That is very disappointing for me.

                                  The A/c cooling problem was also unattended but they didn’t forget to charge for A/c Filter, air cleaner, etc in the Invoice. I am not sure whether they might have replaced or not replaced.

                                  The cup holder was not fixed; it got fixed only when I requested to fix at the time of delivery. I know that fixing a cup holder will take only 1 minute. But it is very sad to notice that they didn’t even do that also (which means they are not least bothered about customers)

                                  He also mentioned that he did Wheel alignment and wheel balancing. But the overall work is not satisfactory because my issues are remaining even after the service. While I asked about these matters, service advisor said that he is new to Lathangi Ford (he told he joined 1 month back) and having less experience with ford cars. While hearing his words; I was completely disappointed. I thought that service advisor could take care of my issues during service. He charged a service Bill amount of 7976/- for the whole Service. That means he tried to meet his Cost Estimation but he failed to solve my issues and failed to deliver the car at the promised time!!! There was no reason for delay from his side. This is very bad. Now I realized that I did a mistake by giving my car for service in Lathangi Ford. My paid service is not done as per my satisfaction.

                                  On 20-Feb-2010, Divya from Lathangi Ford called me for a feedback of my service. She asked me to visit again for checking the complaint. As per her suggestion, I went to Lathangi Ford on 24-Feb-2010 morning. They introduced me with a new service advisor as per my request (I explicitly told Divya that I dont want to meet the old service advisor). But the new advisor consulted with old advisor.The new advisor also cant solve my issues.He told that I need to replace the Break pad, break disks. The A/c is leaking so some parts needs to be replaced (with an estimate of Rs.7000/-). While I contacted service engineers who work in Ford Service station kerala, they said that there is no need to replace all these components.That means that Lathangi Ford is only interested in money..not the customer satisfaction..

                                  So dear Ford car owners, please avoid the service from Lathangi Ford. They are the biggest froad in Karnataka.

                                  I am happy with the Ford car. I got a very good service from their previous ford dealer Cauvery Ford. Unfortunately they closed down :(

                                  Hi. I 100% agree with your point. Below is my experiance with Lathangi Ford.

                                  I gave my car (Ikon) to Lathangi ford (Bangalore - India) before 10 days due to heating problem. After 2 days I received a call stating the problem is due to head & the estimation was 20000 rs. Post another 5 days once again I received a call stating Problem is with some other part & this time the estimation was 50000 rs & promised the car will be delivered on 22nd. Now again today I received a call stating the problem is with some other part & this time the estimation is more than 80000 rs...Hope lathangi ford is considering we customers as fools. Its highly disappointing that FORD management is not taking any action to stop this kind of technical competency issues. This is the first time I took my car to Lathangi motors & I received this kind of Pathetic & unprofessional service.Still my car is the Lathangi Ford service station only.

                                  I have Fiesta 1.4Exi 2007. From the day I have bought I have been complaining abou the issue that when I switch my engine, it still keep running, I have to start the engine again & switch-off... the charged me 3 thrice that have to change the coil ( only those fraudesters know what coil to change), but still had the same problem, the one of my friend suggested a private service centre. From 2008 till date no issues of it.

                                  I would suggest the Ford Management to send their service engineers get trained with private service station ppl, first.

                                  Same case as others too, hav a FORD IKON, purchased from Cauvery Ford on Dec 2007. No problem till Cauvery Ford existed and serviced. Post Lathangi ...problems galore.
                                  First service @ Lathangi, ended up doing and charging for what I had never requested.
                                  Kept quiet. next service they broke my number plate during service, did a patch up work.
                                  Never informed me about it. when contacted, they passed blames on different service engineers.
                                  Ultimately they decided to replace it and till then I have been waiting for them. Its been 3 months since.

                                  i agree with most of them, Lathangi ford is not giving the kind of services that Cauvery ford used to give, looks like the people in Lathangi is having a vision and mission to make money out of any cars they sold and they service.they dont understand the problem of customers who live far from their offices and homes.

                                  I gave my car for regular servicing and it took them 3 days to complete, i would have been happy if it was completed but i kept calling this advisor who had no clue of what he is talking about..

                                  Seriously i will not even think of going to them again, if any oen of you know any dealer who deals with ford for good services please let me know..i can atleast contribute to a hard working person who deserves the money for his services...Over all i would give a BIG NO to Lathangi ford.
                                  I had given my vehicle at Lathangi Ford on Monday, as per the insurance advice. There was a slight damage to the vehicle bumper and front right side above wheel. From Tuesday I have been calling up the workshop people for the status and bill estimate. I have been continuously calling the supervisors from this service centre. So far, I havent got any response from these gentlemen. The insurance surveyor had told me he had given the go-ahead already on day one itself. I would have made at least 20-30 calls to LATHANGI service centre and personnel. So far no satisfactory response. I dont have any idea when I ll get a car. I have already incurred lot of expenses and inconvenience on account of non-availability of the vehicle and non-response of these incompetent folks.

                                  I am also equally disappointed with lathangi ford. I bought a ford fiesta from them on february 26th. Till the purchase was made the response of the sales representative was excellent and they even came and collected the cheque & the documents from my office. After i received the vehicle i checked about the smart card and the representative told me that it will come to me directly from RTO. I have been checking about the card every 7/10 days and then latele he told me that the Card would have returned to the RTO office if there was nobody to collect at my residence. And he told me that I hace to personally go to the RTO Office and collect the card as they dont issue the card to anybody other that the buyer. I went to the RTO office on saturday ant 11 am and after waiting till 1 AM the concerned person told me that that card has already been collected by the agency person and he showed me the signature of the person. After that i called up the person who collected the card and he told me he is on a 15days holiday and i should talk to his boss. When i called his boss after 3 calls he confirmed that the card has been handaed over to lathangi ford( To the lady in charge of documents).
                                  After calling lathangi ford at least 10 times this is the response i have got-
                                  The sales representative- is always in an important meeting and never have enough time to receive call.
                                  The person in chrarge of documentation- she will give me a call back in two minutes which has never happend.
                                  The Asst manager sales- still checking on what has happened.

                                  I hope i will be able to hear about it today although i dont have much hopes left.

                                  I had given my Ford Ikon for a regular check up and was literally struggling to get my Car back .Atlas was successful in getting the car back after 4 days .
                                  It was a complete mess with my interiors stained leathers and the so called polish used on the dashboard and on the steering wheel simply stinks .U just cant hold the steering wheel as it slips coz of the polish.
                                  And its difficult to locate a service advisor whose phone will be switched off .
                                  And please dont even think of escalating the matter to the managers as they all are same.
                                  Please let me know if there are good Ford service center in or around bangalore.

                                  Careful with Lanthangi Ford. I have a Ford Flair which was bought at Cauvery Ford. Since Cauvery Ford is closed, I have been giving my car at Lanthangi Ford for servicing. Last time I when I gave my car for servicing I left my car documents and USB in car. To my surprise my USB and four wheeler license was stolen from the car. After several follow up also supervisor and manager does not have clue who has stolen it and why it happened Don't leave your any documents in car and trust these people.
                                  I am also equally disappointed with lathangi ford.I have a Ford Ikon Flair which i regularly servicing n Cavery ford but now as they moved to Magadi road from kanakapura road thought of giving to Lathangi ford.It was just Oil change normal service & minor adjustment with Head light focus & stereo.They made the bill of around 13k But not done a single work correctly.Now Head tight focus is outside the road.When i spoke to his manager He just defended his workers.Even lost our Ganesh Idol.When i gone back ask the same there Tone of reply was different.Please done buy any vehicle or service from Lathangi ford.
                                  Iam also disappointed with lathangi ford, Banneraghatta road, i have a ford ikon which i gave for service first time to lathangi they charged around 18k with problems of thermostat, complete break kit etc etc, eventhough break is good too...after next day deleivery i found that engine oil and coolant oil is leaking, the same i have reported to lathangi ford they checked and came back with that they gasket was gone..how this is possible with out driving more than 5 km how gasket will be spoilet ..this is the fraudness of lathangi ford...please dont go to lathangi ford...

                                  I have bought ford ikon flair 2nd hand car a price of Rs.1.35Lks. With a Kms of 22000. Since i bought the car i enjoyed a care free service and no trouble faced so far. i am getting a mileage of 11.5kmpl. yes as i also feel there is some braking problem accrued some times . All together it is a great feeling to drive Ford ikon flair 1.3 Racoma . can any body suggest me with whom i have to get check my car . By reading all the responses from the fellow Friends i am totally confused. Presently i am facing sound pronlem in side the car. It is not so silent. I can hear the engine sound even i close the side glass windows. Can any body suggest me what to do with tihis. It is as i am driving a topless car . regards prasad.

                                    - Since day-1 we have been regularly complaining for the brakes not working properly
                                    - The vehicle was sent to Ford authorized centre in Karnal (Haryana) for 15 days, no improvements found
                                    - Prior to Karnal the vehicle had been sent to authorized stations in Meerut (West UP) and Dehradun (Uttrakhand).

                                    Since yesterday the vehicle is not in working condition and is standing on NH-58, where it went through a break down
                                    - Clutches not working
                                    - Brakes not working
                                    - Engine giving wierd sounds when started
                                    We have been regularly following up with the customer care in Delhi,Chennai- still no support has been provided.

                                    We are unable to drive the said vehicle unless fully testified in working condition by the company oficials

                                    I have faced many issues with ford service as well. My fifth car is ford, and after dealing with other companies in the past, I am convinced not to buy their products again.

                                    The issue is not the problem (as it can happen), but addressing the problem in a right, efficient and a considerate way.

                                    Hope your issue gets its due importance! Write to Ford-India, after which the servicer woke-up and called me back, until then it was "we don.'t care"

                                      to whom so ever it may concern

                                      This is to inform you that i own a ford fiesta (no: tn 23 aw- 6662).
                                      while coming from Bangalore last week, vehicle stopped all of a sudden..
                                      and after showing to authorised service center ford salem (e mail - [protected]@suseegroups.com), i came to know that my engine has got ceased. and it has run only 52000 kms. now the service center people are telling me that i got to change to engine completely. already there has been a complaint mail which has been sent by the above said e mail id. for which they are waiting for reply.the details of the vehicle are as follows

                                      This is ridiculous.i own a fiesta too.It's a problamatic car and i have changed most of the spare parts except engine.

                                      inceased the price after i booked the car

                                      i booked a car before ford company increased the price but now dealer is saying that you have to paid 33, 000 rs extra because company increased the price...

                                        Dear Sirs,

                                        Greetings!!

                                        In reference to above subject matter, I would like to put in some feedback on down the lines operations actually happening at M/s Ford Outlets and request for your inter-vetion for resolution and support.

                                        Vehicle Details:
                                        ~ 1.4 EXI TDCI Diesel - Colour: P. Red
                                        ~ Chassis No. : 7M41699
                                        ~ Dealer Invoice Number (Just Got One Hour Back)
                                        - VSLA701377 dated 28/02/2009
                                        ~ Vehicle Delivery date: 09/03/2008 @ 5:50pm (Proof can be shown)
                                        ~ Vehicle Warranty as per Details given by Dealers (Proof Can Be Shown)
                                        - 29/02/2008 to 13/03/2010
                                        ~ Billing Name: M/s Hindustan Sanitary & Industries Limited
                                        ~ Total No. of Ford Cars Purchased by company till date ~ Min.25-30 Numbers

                                        1) Present Problems:
                                        ~ M/s Harpreet Ford Refused for giving extended warranty as 2 Years are over from date of Invoice i.e. 29/02/2008. However the warranty expiry as per document is 13/03/2010.
                                        ~ Undersigned has visited to Dealer Counter on 03/03/2010 for renewal considering warranty expiry 13/03/2010.
                                        ~ No one at Dealer counter ready to give solution, however the problem is genuine and known to every one.
                                        ~ Customer relation at Dealer counter seems to be very helpless as there is no empowerment given to dealer and all the things needs to be decided by M/s Ford India. (Looks like Bureaucratic approach of system)

                                        My Concern:
                                        ~ Who will take the responsibility in case if any incident takes place with vehicle
                                        ~ How will I get my extended warranty for next 2 years is an question mark and again at what cost??
                                        ~ None of the person is ready to take any responsibility in the case
                                        ~ There is no contact person or phone number of Ford India, who can actually sort out the matter

                                        2) Quality & Service Feedback:

                                        2.1 A/C Problem: Since last 2 Years, there have been 3 times complaint in AC performance
                                        - 1st Problem: Reported at Harpreet Ford during 1st service of improper cooling effect: The solution given was Gas Topping up
                                        - 2nd times: Reported to NCR ford as well as to Chennai Office for AC Not working: Solution given was Discharge Pipe Burst and Gas Leak ï’ Am sure this problem was definitely due to over charging, causing Discharge Pipe Bursting by paying Gas Leak & labour Charges for no fault of mine.
                                        - 3rd Times: Again after 6-8 months AC is not working, fortunately due to winters in north, am able to manage

                                        My concerns on AC Performance:
                                        - Why as a customer should I suffer for poor quality or workmanship
                                        - Why and on what ground should I pay for again AC repair irrespective of any fault in Air conditioners ( If AC fails 3 Times in 2 Years)
                                        - Even on discussion at Svc Ctr, the upfront replies comes in you need to change cooling coil even without inspecting and going into details

                                        2.2 Head Lights Functioning:
                                        - In last 2 Years one by one all the bulbs have gone faulty not due to basic failure of bulbs but it is due to poor quality of connectors
                                        - The problem was very well reported during my car service ï’ the default replies came, it was loose and now tightened and now working ok. Which in fact again goes faulty in a weekâ¬"s time?
                                        - On discussion with your services centers, the simple replies comes, I have to get the complete head light changed as connector has gone faulty and connector doesnâ¬"t come as spare part.
                                        - The problem observed is basically connectors are neither checked during services nor any one found out the exact root cause and provides solution

                                        My concern:
                                        - Why for a small connector, I need to get my complete head light changed
                                        - Why there is no part code given to me for purchase of connectors and to get the matter resolved.
                                        - Why should I pay even for bulbs and connectors, when it is the problem of poor workmanship and quality of connectors and basic wiring system inside
                                        2.3 Truck Lock: The truck lock has been replaced twice and still there is problem in the lock.
                                        2.4: Back Seat & Door Noise: There have been number of times complaint has been given to svc ctr for the noise but it is like passing the complaints through ears but no solution.
                                        2.5 Pick Up Problem: There has been drastic change in Pick up and no one is actually looking into the matter even after repeated reminders

                                        My concern:
                                        - I am scared that if there is no one to take care of above said small problem, then in case of any major incident (e.g. Engine Failure etc), I will be only at the mercy of God and Ford Service.

                                        3: Spare Parts Pricing/ Service Charges:
                                        - When ever the vehicle goes for servicing, there has been actually illogical amount charged e.g. Instead of changing the connector, complete head light change is suggested
                                        - AC is never been checked properly and cooling coil replacement is suggested.
                                        - Break Pads charges are Rs. 1800/- where in same quality is available in market @ Rs. 600/- + tax ( original one)

                                        My concern;
                                        - Why should I suffer for all illogical charges and reasons
                                        - It seems â¬S Ford India is more focused on Dealer ROI and revenue based working without giving solution on even basic services to customer

                                        Overall:
                                        - In my last 15-20 times visit your svc ctrs, I have never seen a guy from Ford India at service center, who can actually go insight to customer problems
                                        - The best way to find out the facet of front line service operations is to pl. give one mock call by personally visiting to service center and personally checking the service levels or
                                        - Let some independent agency carry out market benchmark on service and measure customer satisfaction index to have a very â¬very fare idea on service

                                        Last, due to all the above there are number of customers, who actually want to get rid of Ford Product just because of
                                        - Poor service, quality of product & peopleâ¬"s response.
                                        - Resale value of Ford Cars is also very low
                                        - And no once wants to buy ford.

                                        From all above, I would request you to pl. support and intervene into the matter for resolution of my complaints else I would be left with no option but to leave Ford Brand forever.

                                        Warm Greatings,

                                        We have purchased a Ford Fiesta vehicle in the year July 2008 from Chennai Ford Showroom, Aminjikarai, Chennai, TamilNadu, India. Since beginning we are facing lot issues regarding repair and maintenance because of that we are mentally disturbed. Several times we have given our vehicle for service in your authorized service centers and every time they were unable to delivery our vehicle on time. During Jan ’2009 we have faced a problem in engine due to noise and smoke. Once again in Jan’2010 we have met with the same issue and we have given the vehicle at your Salem, TamilNadu, India authorized service center on 19th Jan’ 2010. We made several follow-ups to get the vehicle rectified and delivered. We are not able to get any proper feedback or response for the same. Each and every time we are behind them, the service center even never bothered to call us and update the same.

                                        I have not raised this issue till 30 days, after a continuous follow-up with the dealer I have sent my driver to salem TamilNadu, India and he was there for a week but nothing happened. After our several follow-ups and on 18th Feb (i.e., 30days) we came to know that your engineers were unable to even start the vehicle. After that on Feb 23rd we have started our communication with Ford customer care.

                                        Today I had a con-call with the customer care team member Mr. Nitin and customer care manager Mr. Debhashis, as per the final update that too after 55 days your customer care asking to pay some discounted amount and to take the vehicle for that also I have to wait for some days which they are also not sure about the delivery date.I am not satisfied with the service from Mr. Debhashis & his team and no body is realizing the effort and pain which is happening because of this.

                                        I request you to look in to this and request you to make me as a proud ford owner.
                                        The same type of problemes with me and no positive responce from ford.

TODAY 06.04.10 RADIATOR IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH THE DEALER ,WHICH IS RUNNING ITEM, SECONDLY THERE IS NO CREDIT TOWARDS A CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASES A VEHICLE OF 10 LACS, THAT ALSO IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN SERVICED AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE DELEVERY SAME DAY IMPOSSIBLE, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR 2 DAYS FOR CHEQUE CLEAR , ELSE PAY CASH , IF YOU WANT SAME DAY .TOTAL RUDE/SHRUDENESS/NO THING TO LISTEN.

                                        AND TO COMPANY SOME R&D SHOULD BE APPLIED TIME TO TIME , TELL YOUR WIFE TO PRESS HORN IN FEISTA ( SO MUCH HARD), WHICH SHOULD BE FEATHER TOUCH IN STEARING WITH VOLUME IN UPPER END MODELS .
