Hello, I am using HDFc credit card from the last 2-3 year but this time in my last month statement January 2016 they added Rs 2862 as a membership renewal fee. While offering this card to me no one told about his hidden charges. As I already do follow up this customer representative but they are not agree for reverse this amount. Before this card I am having the same HDFC card but for that they are charging 400-500 Rs yearly that is nominal but this time I am shocked, due to expiry of my last credit card in Jan 2015 they offer/issue me this card on Jan 2015. Its very bad experience this time.

    Last four digits of my card is 6585. My credit card branch is Thiruvanmiyur (i.e. chennai). My card validation about to expire, it appeared like the new card going to get delivered to my old address. I have requested to change it multiple times. Despite reaching the bank in person, no one bothered in helping me but my request keep getting rejected for signature mismatch. Although, I myself appeared on the branch with all my proofs but none of them interested in looking at it.

      I received a call from hdfc executive that am eligible for credit card of limit 1 lakh and i have received a call back also for same amount whereas card was issued for 40k only. Not sure how bank is doing such fraudulent sales. Can someone help me in this regard

        Hi there, I want complain against your credit card house verification executive for providing a false information against my house. He came to my house for Enquiry, and also asked me some bribe to approve my credit card. And I have paid him also but he informed to the bank that am not living in the address. Tell me what am I supposed to do ?

          I have a serious grievance with regards to my credit card #(xxxx xxxx xxxx 3645).
          I see that bank has put up a lien of Rs.75000/- on my account showing as outstanding which is increasing every month. The sufficient amount was already deducted from my hdfc bank salary acct without prior intimation. Now I see that this amount is getting debited to an extent of my monthly salary and is taking a toll on me financially as I have personal responsibilities being a sole bread winner of my family.

          I am totally dissatisfied with the way bank is taking advantage of me rather than sorting the issue considering that I have already made sufficient payment against my credit card payment. I am frustrated with the regular notices received by the bank when there is no mistake of mine. Bank has been harassing me and my family members where I have father who is a heart patient. I have already raised complaint in the past but no positive response from bank.

          I need this to be sorted without being carried further anymore. You cannot just keep on debiting my a/c at your own will. I am also taking up this matter with the RBI & banking ombudsman as I have already suffered a lot with the intimidation and illegitimate debits from my alternate bank account.

          Banks Behaviour : Regular follow up at my residence, abusing language, harassment, threatening, sending people at my place to threaten me and my family, bangs the doors of my neighbour and now threaten to put a lien on my account and deduct my entire salary.

            Dear Sir,
            i am Swetab Kumar having my saving account no [protected] with the HDFC Bank, Anand Vihar, New Delhi. firstly bank offered me Credit card on my account balance basis and promise to provide the contract in response failed to do so. After period they started putting levy charged on my credit card where i tried various time to resolve my probables. they did not resolved my problem after i reached to Hon'ble District Consumer Forum and filed a complaint against the them which still pending thereafter i stooped maintaining my saving account due to fear that they will deduct the same amount from my account and my matter ill get fluctuate in response they started deduction from my account and currently my balance is about Rs.4000/- negative monthly basis.

              I believe your bank has crossed all its limit now. Here's the explanation to that;

              I paid Rs.12, 000 towards my credit card registered in the name of Asavari Mate and Rohit Mate.

              Post this, I get a statement indicating the outstanding on the account is around 1, 500 with the due date of 01.01.2016.

              And still, you guys have the audacity to send a recovery agent today at my place asking for outstanding amount of Rs.12, 000. The recovery agent has no clue about the payment being made and he comes and asks us to pay the money.

              You guys have been harassing me and my sister during her pregnancy, She got fed up and switched off her phone, Your customer service executives have been calling her in the hospital as soon she would switch her phone on even after telling them that we are in hospital. Now you send recovery agents to our house.

              Now when the card is due for renewal we receive message that you will get a new card in 15days, we get upgrade information direct mailer. Then suddenly we get message that we cant renew your card and sorry for inconvenience. Instead of solving your own problems you are just going on harassing customer for your mistakes.

              Couple of question that you will have to answer to us and media soon:

              1. On what basis did you send the recovery agent without any updated knowledge of my credit card
              2. Who gave you the authority to harass customer during such difficult and personal time
              3. Why are payments made not being updated in your system
              4. Who is going to take the responsibility of all this

              This has been a terrible experience repeated from HDFC bank again and we fail to understand that your bank and its employees are so incentive and unprofessional.

              Given the situation, I would like to put up a case against your bank in Consumer Court if there is no clarity on this issue within 24 hrs and written apology from Mr. Puri himself for leading such a disastrous and unprofessional organisation.
              Apart from the case, we would also get media involved in this, since you guys don't understand professionalism and ethics.

              I hope this incident sheds some light on the unethical and unprofessional practices happening in your organisation else we would do the honors.

                I'm using HDFC credit card since last year August, I don't even remember when i used it last other than some online transaction of 8k, even after full payment its showing an Arrears of 10K, I really dont know how you are treating your credit card users.
                Called up your customer care number([protected]) - no querries solved, Gave an another collection team number ([protected]) now the number is not working.
                Don't know whom to deal with.
                Unable to find any solution.

                  This is to inform you that hdfc bank is cheating there costumer as by implementing certain charges on the credit card as this bank never stick to their words neither on there commitment.
                  Few months bank i have received hdfc dinner''s club credit card which i have been told that is lifetime free but that card was none of my use as it was not acceptable with most of my the merchandise of my city then i was asked to write an hard copy application & send it to chennai branch & i did it on 21.12.2015 & then i got across that i have been issued a new card.After talking to their costumer executive i came to know that in dis card i am getting the same facility as of like my previous card & my new card is also lifetime free.But now they are asking me to pay rs.572 as annual charges as this card is not free.Last monday (15.01.2016) i lodged a complaint n they give me a refrence no-[protected] & assured me that my problem will be sorted out on fri (19.01.2016) but nothing happened so.

                      I am not receive my regular credit card statement so that some how I am became defaulter, after notice that I rushed to the credit card division they assure me to omitted all extra charges and I am agreed to pay my actual due in ONE time.                         I am purchase Lead on 13/01/2016 from Indian Money through HDFC Bank Card but sum system problem in Indian money so company employ told for Duplicate transaction i follow the technical personal but i have 2 transaction so i told to Indian money & Hdfc Bank Card Person for 20000/- payment Refund please do not pay Indian money any amount. but customer executive told me for Indian money is not claim 20000/- amount .so i told for stop payment of my 20000/- rs. but he is not agree with me and told for after after some day and told for dispute form. and i agree with him i call after some day company told me for sent dispute form for indian money . i sent dispute form to HDFC Bank Credit Card Department for dispute and disagreement with company so please refund my amount after some day from hdfc bank i got mail form bank to please told to indian money for your refund but in indian money is no one reply me or told me for my refund and hdfc bank card charge me 10000/- rs who i am not agree with him .

                        I sent and dispute form first submitted in HDFC Bank Credit Card Department and Indian money also . but no one care for my mail and Indian money is credit 10000/- rs balance me for use his app. but i told first Indian money and hdfc bank both of for i am not interested with business in Indian money and more then 30 mail to Indian money for my refund but no one is reply me proprietary so i am not pay 10000/- in hdfc bank card .

                        My self Manikandan.

                        I had made a transaction of 32000 for deltin which got declined due to some network issues but the account got credit from my cc, I was said that the amount did not reach them and they asked me to make a Re payment and the other payment which got declined would be reversed, as I was running short of another 32000 I had to make a payment through my friends card, And now its been more than 10 working days and I see no refund in my account, I have filled the dispute form and the way your team reply's is understandable, I have asked them to call me a several times but I see no action.

                        Kindly resolve the issue at the earliest.

                          I have purchased an XOLO 1x black from snapdeal on 06 November 2015 at that time an offer is running that use Hdfc debit card and get 10% cashback.I have payed the money with my debit card and successfully eligible for cashback, cashback will be given on 06 January but there is no cashback so I have called to snapdeal they says that from their side it's clear and cashback will be given by Hdfc bank.So I have called the HDFC customer care but they always give an unsatisfied answers sometime ask me to call snapdeal and sometimes says to go to home branch.they are just making fool of me.

                            Hi, I am Avijit Das.I have ordered a Philips trimmer from amazon e-commerce on 29th January, 2016 which is 890 rupees.For transaction successful i got one OTP and i made the transaction then i slept in night.When i wake up in the morning i saw i got 12 message that 12 time with 890 rupees deducted from my account.Then i call HDFC customer care and blocked my net-banking also.On 30th January i have submitted one cardholder dispute form in my HDFC branch .Then i contact with amazon customer care they confirmed me that they didn't get any money from HDFC, so money is in HDFC bank only and i have that proof also.Accordingly bank's policy it should credit in my account in 2- business days.But it's around 20 days after also i didn't get my Rs.10740 money back.How it's possible that with one OTP 12 times transaction happen for the same amount.I want my money back and want extra money also for this inconvenience.Hope i will get solution as early as possible.

                              I have opened a family salary account, welcome kit sent to home address, didnt recieve it and went back to its head office, they sent it to branch and asked us to go and collect it; the address on the account is having typo's explains why I have not recieved; cust id is not recieved, by the time I got welcome kit to me atm pin expired; net banking pwd in the kit is not working; cannot regenerate as there is no atm pin; called customer service and they say pay 50 rs to regenerate the atm pin;
                              I asked why should I pay, I'm not at fault its your mistake; cust service response is simple If I request I have to pay 50; other wise go to branch and talk; asked them to connect to their manager or TL; no sir not possible and they didnt connected me; no answer; and when I asked same question, they say understand it is our mistake but they cannot generate; cut the phone on me :(

                                Hi Forum,

                                i have been usiing HDFC Credit card since 4 years properly i have given my registerd email ids 1 my personal email id and working email id, but i have from working company and so that i requested to change my email id to personal emails id instead working emailid.but that was not happened after 1 years also still i am not getting email statements to about my payments, due to this confusion i was stopped to paying emi s which they said peding only 1 emi left that time i was paid thta emi but when i was called to customer care, later they are saying and 2 emis are peding..many time i called and lost my patiency and requested for hard copies and soft copies no use, later i lost my cibil score and now i am not able to process loans in any bank, , now the emi money is 65000 and i paid more that 9000/---but they are saying that 1376 Rs are pending.

                                and they have closed my card for further usage, for card usage they have charge 2500 for year, and i have to get around 6500 Rs redeem points from my cards points and i lost everything because of misleading HDFC credit card department and back services...
                                i am requesting please take a complaint against this Bank..can check my voice records with hdfc customer services care center how many times i given complaints on my issues no solution for those but payments they increasing by monthly charges...instead of 64000 i have paid more than 12 thousands and loast my valuable cibil score...

                                  i would like to share my experience with hdfc ergo claim service. this is the worst company which commits very much when you purchase the mediclaim policy. there modus operendi is very simple they keep on sending quarries after queries till the customer is fully haraased and he feels that it is better to pay the cash amount then waste time is settling the querries.

                                    I will rise the complaint in consumy court we r going bank till now 8 times 20 days ago wer applying loan house verification also done 10 days am govt employees but that bank people not responding we r not a beggers we r paying interest we r trying to call customer care of hadfc bank sorry we don't have authentication to check the details then what should we do

                                      I have Purchased puma and Reebok shoes from Snapdeal.com Through HDFC credit card on 2nd nov, 2015 order no. [protected]. At that time a scheme, hdfc 10% cashback was there on my product. So i fullfilled all the conditions to avail the discount and snapdeal to be deposited Rs. 338 on 6th jan 2016. But i didn’t gate any refund till date. I have ragister complaint against it. My complaint No. Is [protected].
