SUB: NOTICE BEFORE FILING CONSUMER COMPLAINT
Dear Sir,
I have booked bus ticket from Delhi to Lucknow on 12.8.2016 through GoIbibo mobile application and paid Rs.2398 for the same. The Boarding time of the bus was 23:00 from vaishali metro station. After reaching the boarding point i.e Vaishali metro station I realized that Bus number and other details has not been provided by Goibibo, so I called the call center of Goibibo for the same but to my surprise they said that “Booking has not been made due to some technical error” .. However the ticket/voucher(Attached)that they have provided me after booking my Bus ticket from their mobile application clearly shows that ticket was booked and I have also received a SMS(Attached) from their side welcoming me and stating that I have boarded the Bus. Moreover I have also requested them to provide me any other arrangement to make me reach Lucknow but they said nothing can be provided and said your money will be refunded.
I was having some urgent work at lucknow and due to this cheating from GoIbibo I was standing at bus stand(Boarding Point) for nearly 1 hours. This is a clear case of cheating and Fraud committed by GoIbibo to me. This Cheating and Fraud has caused me great financial loss(As I was having urgent work at lucknow) and Mental & Physical Harassment, I therefore request you to provide me compensation of Rs.5.00 lacs to me as this has caused me great financial loss(As I was having urgent work at lucknow) and Mental & Physical Harassment.
Please provide me compensation with 15 to 20 days or else I will file a complaint with the Consumer Forum as I am protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.
