Let me start by saying that i am a very frequent customer of Goibibo for both Hotels and Flights and you ensured that i will never do any booking from your website again. I had never expected such a sub-standard service from such a renowned website.
On 1st November I did a confirmed booking via Goibibo for hotel Asia Health Resorts And Spa for a Quadruple Room since i was travelling with my family. The choice of the room was done basis my earlier travel, feedback from friends and online.
On reaching the hotel at 7:45 pm in the night(with my family) they refused our check-in since hotel had never confirmed our booking to Goibibo and they did not had the room availability.
On calling up your helpline you ensured that my issue would be resolved within 15 mins but i had to stand in the cold for 2 hours with my family as it appeared no one was bothered about my issues.
After over an hour of follow up on your helpline, i was provided an alternative substandard hotel which was 8 kms from the hotel i booked and was standing outside. I kept on requesting your helpline to provide me a hotel which was near to my current location since i used a taxi to commute to this hotel and at 9 in the night it would not be possible for me to travel.
After this went on for two hours they booked the same hotel with sub-standard rooms which i knew before hand since i had already stayed in those during an earlier visit but since at 9:30 i had to other place to go i had to take that option.
I have deleted the app from my cell now and also told me friends never to use the goibibo again.
Please be assured that i would be mentioning the same on blog as well as other social networking websites and would also go to the necessary board.
I sincerely hope some action is taken so that other customers do not face such issues.
