I booked a group ticket for 5 people on 2-December-2018 for travel date 3-May-2019. There was a slight mistake observed in a passenger's surname. I checked the option on Goibibo's website and fortunately I found that; however post doing all the processes I received a call from Goibibo and that lady told that this correction can't be done. You need to cancel the ticket. It was actually surprising however, I thought that the cancellation and rebooking can be another good option. I asked to proceed for the same but the gentleman told that the cancellation charge is 100% and you won't get refund of the ticket. Within a day when I booked the ticket that too for 6 months later I was told that I will not get any refund. It was very disappointing as it is my hard earned money. I contacted their higher management but all in vain, they too had the similar solution that I will get 0 refund. I thought their CEO certainly can look into the matter but he has never replied to any of my emails out of 10 which I sent to him since 6th December. I would urge you to please look and assist in this regards.

The author submitted gossip, not a complaint
because no prove of flight is seen:-
- name of passenger
- flight number,
- e-ticket,
- boarding pass,
- any prove of loss which author had got, expressed in figures.
Following 15 days of your correct complaint receipt by air carrier,
the case on losses against air carrier shall be considered by local court only.
If the author does not know the procedure of the complaint to the air carrier / to the court
the author need to hire a laywer or legal professional for the case preparation.
usually : from 4000 ruppes for simple cases + own efforts, max 25000 rupees for complecated cases.
