I did a booking from Goibibo yesterday for 4 passengers “PNR No: JGXIMO” from Mangalore to Mumbai Flight dated 3rd October, it was a mistake in date since i particularly remember i had selected 24th October, and your app does not give an option to review booking before confirming payment, which is a feedback and can be incorporated in your app.
Now I have an option to either reschedule it or cancel it. Since rescheduling option is way too expensive with the modification charges (~3000) & fare difference for 24th Oct (~4000), so I will have to shell out 7000 per ticket over and above 17, 496 for 4 tickets, which lands me up at Rs. 45, 000 for 4 tickets.
Now coming to cancellation, the charges for cancelling if done through an agent is Rs. 3600 + Service Tax per ticket, which is almost equivalent to the ticket price. Now if i am getting so heavily penalised for booking through your app, then i don't find any good reason to book through your app next time.
Now the policies devised by the airline are to help the customers or to penalize them so heavily, just because they have done it through Goibibo or any other agency. I did all the procedure just after booking the ticket which is almost a month in advance than what I have booked. I have been advised by your personnel to keep the booking as it is & wait for either the flight to get cancelled or resheduled by 1 hour so that we can proceed for full refund from the airline operator.
Please help me, i expect a full refund on the wrong date tickets that were given to me after the payment.
