Hi,
My name is Tejaswini. I have booked a flight ticket from Bangalore to Bhubhaneswar in indigo's website() on 5th Jan 2015 with reference number #SBCEGQ for 7th Feb 2015. Also I have booked return ticket with reference #Y5UJHS for the date 9th Feb 2015. Costs are 7, 187/- and 5, 293/- respectively.
On 6th Feb 2015, i recieve a mail from [protected]@goindigo.in, that my ticket is cancelled. Infact both the tickets have been cancelled.
When I called the customer care people, they said it has been cancelled from my indigo website account and they gave me the ip address ( 106.206.222.205) from which it has been cancelled. My device doesn't have this IP address.
CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE KEPT ON BLAMING ME FOR SHARING PNR INFORMATION/ EMAIL ID / MY NAME- I SAY HOW DARE THEY TALK TO ME LIKE THAT, HOW CAN THEY BLAME ME THAT I HAVE SHARED INFORMATION WITH ANYONE.
THEY ALSO SAID TICKET CAN ALSO BE CANCELLED BY NAVIGATING TO -https://book.goindigo.in/Booking/Retrieve (NOTE: WITHOUT LOGGING IN)
ANYBODY CAN PUT THE PNR # AND EMAIL ID/ MY NAME AND CAN CANCEL THE TICKET!
IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM, HOW CAN YOU GUYS GIVE SO MUCH LEVERAGE ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT ANYONE CANCEL ANYBODIES TICKET JUST WITH PNR AND NAME/ EMAIL. THIS IS SECURITY BREACH. HOW CAN SOMEONE CANCEL TICKET, PEOPLE WILL SOME HOW COME TO KNOW THE PNR # SAY FOR EX. WHEN WE GO TO PRINTOUT SHOP TO GET PRINT OF OUR TICKET, OR BY ANYOTHER MEANS AS THE DOCUMENT IS NOT ENCRYPTED OR CODED, IT IS JUST A PLAIN TEXT AND ANYBODY CAN SEE THE ENGLISH WORDS WRITTEN ON IT. !
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
I WANTED MY TICKET BACK, BUT CUSTOMER CARE SAYS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE IN THAT CASE I NEED MY FULL REFUND BACK TO MY BANK ACCOUNT VIA WHICH I MADE PAYMENT.
THIS IS NOT DONE! WHY WILL I PAY AND TAKE BLAME FOR THE MISTAKE THAT I HAVE NOT DONE.
THIS WAS FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH GOINDIGO.COM AND THE WORST FOR SURE.
Please help me track how my ticket got cancelled.
