Our flight was yersterday Mr.Mateen shaikh and Mrs.fatimabi shaikh 16th april 22.05 dubai to mumbai 6e1456 indigo airlines now its 9.33 we r still on dubai airport no details are given none indigo airlines crew is available and we are told by them flight is not cancelled but its not showing what the hell Please it’s very important for us to fly today as soon as possible we have appointment for passports of my children

    Hello Team,

    Good Evening.

    Date of Incident: 7th April 2024
    Booking Reference from Airfrance: QSYT33
    Desirable Resolution: Refund of amount 600 euros for making customers long waiting time in the transit which was not booked by the customer.

    Based on my flight booking, I got my boarding pass for both the flights[Chennai Madras(MAA) to Mumbai Bomday (BOM), flight KL3689]. The boarding pass has been issued to me. Later I got a message saying the KL3689 will be delayed for 30 minutes. After that I got an email saying the connection flight has been changed from KL878 to EY197 and EY077 with two stops instead of one stop with a transit time of 10hours 30 minutes in Mumbai and 1 hour 45 minutes in Abhu Dhabi,

    At Mumbai Airport, the ground handler did not gave any proper reason for changing the flights and we were provided with no care mandated by EU 261/2004. Each time I made an enquiry, I was told to wait. This continued for more than 5 hours until I was finally asked to board a taxi to a hotel
    only to return back with in an hour.

    I specially purchased a ticket with one stop only. But the changed flight I had two stops and I was not informed of my rights under EU 261/2004. I was travelling with a 11 year old kid.

    Our itinerary showed an arrival in Amsterdam of 07:50 and we ended up finally arriving in Amsterdam at 19:15. This represents a delay of 11 hours 15 minutes. I therefore request compensation of 600 eur for myself and the two other passengers on my booking, in line with compensation for late arrival as per EU 261/2004.

      I recently complaint to indigo regarding my money getting deducted from my account twice after that i talk with the indigo staff they said that i need to talk with paytm staff regarding my problem so i tried to contact the customer care but they told me that they can't refund it since i made 2 booking i told them that the first booking and payment that i made was unsuccessful and was showing server not available and was automatically open on the booking page only i understand that server not working is not in any of our hand but saying that they can't refund i don't get it. is it my fault that the server was not working. i hope that IndiGo understand my problem and help me solved it. i need my money back server not working and payment unsuccessful and web page automatically getting refresh is not my fault I don't care whether u take the money or from your airlines companies i just need my money back

        I have travelled by flight 6E2216 yesterday on 1st Feb, 24 from Delhi to Bengaluru for which u had selected Indian meal consisting of Samosa n Vada Pav and a goodie bag also.

        Unfortunately, i was served Sandwich which I refused and returned it back. Also i was not given the goodie bag also.

        Ms.Mitali on board offered ready to eat meal which was available on board, since i had not opted for it and also allergic to processed food i didn't have those.
        If i had to have ready to eat poha or upma, then there was no need to select the food or buy a flexi ticket, i would have just purchased poha/ upma on board.

        Infact hostess on board Ms.Mitali accepted that when date of travelling changed the system doesn't take original selection of meal.
        Infact, i had selected the indian meal again during the rescheduling, this is how i added goodie bag also then.

        How do a customer knows about the travel codes and meal codes?
        Infact the other hostess, Ms.Sapna started arguing on that, and started blaming me for everything without being sorry anytime. When u asked for goodie bag, she started blaming me that it was me who refused taking it and it comes only with meal, and that it was me who should know about the meal code. She was so arrogant.

        Do you expect customer to be aware of everything and come learn with codes n all. And when PNR stays same, everything stays same, i want to know despite the selection why my meal choice was not noted and food given accordingly.
        This is just unacceptable i had nothing for dinner just because of your system and process issues. On top of it a customer is blamed by your arrogant hostess Ms.Sapna.

        I want the full refund of my ticket, for such a horrible experience.
        Request to kindly do the needful at the earliest.

        And Indigo is offering Rs.500 voucher for all the inconvenience and discomfort caused by not having my meal on board and couldn't take my medicines on time.
        If they think that customers are having meals on board only for recreational reasons, they are absolutely wrong and unaware! If i do not get the money of my ticket back, still haven't asked anything for this harassment and inconvenience caused because of it.

          I was travelling from Ahmedabad to hongkong via delhi I was carrying 2900 u.s dollar with me and other currencies it was in my bag, the thing is I just had pdf of the pre arrival registration for hongkong, I asked indigo staff to help for print but they said there's no need, after reaching delhi I check my handbag containing dollar it was there but while boarding in flight indigo staff asked me the print of the pre arrival registration but don't had so they told to mail and said after reaching hongkong contact our staff they will provide you print, after landing in hongkong I asked Indigo crew that I've mail this print from where I can get it, thay said like I don't know better you ask in airport, in the airport before immigration area I searching from Indigo staff or counter for the print but I found no one I also asked the airport authority where I can find indigo staff or counter they said like there's no counter or staff for indigo, so I used airport private service for and printing and delivery for the print of the PDF and they asked me that how will you pay so I said I had card or cash they told only hongkong dollars are accepted, I had Chinese yuan so I changed it to hongkong dollar and tried to pay, but the person came to gave me the print didn't have the change the I tried to pay from the card but my cards didn't worked so used my friends Chinese bank card for the payment and then passed the immigration, finding my bags on the belt but it wasn't available so I asked at airport where can I find my bags they said like your bags are lying on the floor because you are late, then I found my bags lying on floor and chains where open but I ignored because I was getting late for my next train from Kowloon to nanchang via Shenzhen after reaching nanchang I checked my bags I didn't found my credit card and my 2900 u.s dollar was replaced with Indonesian rupiah on next I went back to hongkong again to file a complain in hongkong airport police station, hongkong police told me to apply for travel insurance which I already took and they investigate the whole scenario, because irresponsibility of Indigo airline, staff or crew I suffered a huge loss, the u.s dollar I was carrying was the saving for my university fees, so I want my travel insurance claim and compensation, so please help me with this.

            Baggage Damage

            I had travelled via Indigo Flight 6E 6158, from Chennai to Hyderabad
            (4:13 pm time of departure) on the 27th of March, 2024. I am very disappointed to see my baggage being handled roughly and has visible damage.               I booked my flight via paytm for 29th feb on 28th feb first payment was failed they told me if money was deducted then refund will be done within 7 days and so i had to make payment again and was successful until recently i called my bank for bank statement and got to know that my money was deducted twice and the bank manager told me to contact paytm or indigo regarding this issue and i had no idea about this duplicate transaction done by paytm or indigo the didn't give any update regarding this i only received the flight ticket for the successful transaction. I talk with paytm service but they told me that they cannot provide refund until the merchant (indigo) initiated it or that i should filed complaint regarding this issue they said that refund is normal done within 7 days but in my case due to duplicate transaction they told me to contact indigo to initiate the refund. i kindly request this consumer website to help me get my money back i am student and i need help from consumer complaint

                Unfortunately, I recently experienced the loss of an important trolley bag during my journey with Indigo Airlines from New Delhi to Amsterdam, with a layover at Istanbul Airport.

                Upon the insistence of the Indigo check-in staff at the Delhi Airport counter, I reluctantly checked in my cabin bag, a blue Kamiliant brand suitcase. Despite my objections, the staff insisted, citing aircraft capacity constraints. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Airport, to my dismay, my bag was nowhere to be found on the conveyor belt.

                Of particular concern is the loss of a sentimental item: the "Chunadi, " a Bridal Red Scarf traditionally gifted to brides on their wedding day. The bag's contents also include various valuable items. It's important to note that this loss occurred under duress, as I was compelled by Indigo staff to check in my cabin bag against my wishes.

                As such, I must hold Indigo Airlines responsible for this incident.

                Below are the details of my travel and a description of the missing items:

                Padded wireless bras in Triumph powder blue, Triumph maroon, Jockey grey, etc.
                Hair towel.
                Tan brown formal shoes (Brand: Louis Philippe, Size: 6-7).
                Bottle green men's trousers (Brand: Custom Tailored).
                Beige men's trousers (Brand: Custom Tailored).
                Two shirts (Brand: Custom Tailored).
                A bra case containing wired bras in black, maroon, purple.
                Food article: Papad, an Indian snack (1 packet).

                I urgently request your assistance in locating and retrieving my missing baggage. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

                  I purchased 9 IndiGo flight tickets for various destinations spanning 2023 Cricket World Cup in India. We flew from London UK to Ahmedabad on 3rd October 2023.

                  Unfortunately, 3 weeks into our India tour, my sister died in a tragic accident. This meant we had to cut short our India tour and return back to London UK on 21st October 2023 to support my elderly mum and dad.

                  I have been in regular contact with IndiGo customer service team regarding refund for the tickets not used for the past 5 months. I have dealt with so many customer service agents that I have lost count, I have named a few below:

                  1. Suparna Debnath - 16/01/24
                  2. [protected]@goindigo.in and [protected]@goindigo.in - 28/02/24
                  3. Priya. R - 29/02/24
                  4. Ashutosh Dubey - 01/03/24
                  5. Pushpendra Divguinya - 02/03/24
                  6. Priya Singh - 03/03/24
                  7. Neelam Bisht - 06/03/24

                  As requested by the airline, I have provided:
                  a) Death certificate of my sister
                  b) Birth certificates of my sister and me so you can establish the relationship by checking my father's name.
                  c) UK Passports for my sister and me.

                  The response from the airline is that they require ''We request you to provide government issued death certificate (electronically generated) & the relationship proof (Government issued photo IDs) of the passengers with the deceased as we are unable to find documents.''

                  My response to this request was conveyed back to the customer service agents at Indigo (copied below in italics) and I have now not heard from them.

                  What you are requesting is not possible.

                  First of all the death of my sister occurred in Kenya when she fell while climbing mount Kenya, the death certificate issued by the authorities was perfectly fine for the Kenya and British government to bring her body back to London (our home) for cremation. This same death certificate has been accepted by all government authorities to settle her probate. No authority has requested we provide an electronic version of government issued death certificate.

                  As for my relationship with my sister, all you need to do is to look at our birth certificates (issued when we were born and in sixties and that's how they were issued in those days). You need to look for our Father's name (Velji Gosar) in both mine and my sister's birth certificate and you will be able to establish the relationship.

                  I was not expecting a company like IndiGo to be making any excuses not to pay out for such tragic circumstances. It is shame on you to question the documents I had provided which have been accepted by everyone but IndiGo. I wouldn't be making this up as this is the last thing I would do.

                  I seriously ask you to reconsider the documents provided and settle this which has been going on for over 4 months.

                  I was not expecting a company like IndiGo to be making any excuses not to pay out for such tragic circumstances. It is shame on IndiGo to question the documents I had provided which have been accepted by everyone but IndiGo. I wouldn't be making this up as this is the last thing I would do.

                  I was hoping for a swift resolution to this ongoing issue. Unfortunately, I have been left with no option but to take this matter further.

                  I am hoping to get an update from IndiGo following the post of the above review of their terrible service and overall very bad customer service considering my personal circumstances.

                            I travelled in Indigo flight vide PNR no GP4UYL on 01 03 24 from Coimbatore to Dhaka via chennai airport.
                            At Dhaka airport, I collected my check-in baggage with the trolley wheels broken and trolley handle bracket broken condition. I submitted a complaint. Copy attached.
                            Reported to Indigo officials at Dhaka airport and Property Irregularity report submitted. Copy attached. Photos of damaged baggage attached.
                            Dhaka Indigo Officials informed that follow up mail will be sent to me indicating the compensation amount in Indian Rupees of 1000/-
                            But as on 09 03 24, I did not receive any e mail communication.
                            The rectification damage with spares required will cost me Rs 2500.- Hence I request Indigo to pay me Rs 2500/- minimum.
                            Also, Indigo may like to explain me the reason for the delay in communication to me in e mail.

                              On November 15th, 2023, we booked a flight (6E 2005, from HYD to Tirupati). BOARDING TIME WAS 11:30 a.m. We reached the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 9:00 a.m. . When we entered the check-in, the lady who was sitting at checking refused to take the baggage and told us that other people were waiting as their flight was ready to fly, so let them check first. Then we waited until 10:30 a.m., and she was free. When we tried to catch her, she was busy with other colleagues in chat. The other Indigo team was also busy chatting. We kept running from one place to another for luggage checking, and no one was ready to take it. We were traveling with old people and a kid, and when time was running out, we got panicked by seeing that one person told us to go directly into the flight along with the baggage, but when we reached the place, the boarding was completed, and the IDIGO team had not allowed us to take that flight.

                              When we came back and asked, they said to take another flight. We thought they were arranging some other flight, but not. They asked us to buy new flight tickets. We were shocked and purchased them again, which cost 45, 480.

                              The old tickets cost 30709, which we booked in advance. that they did not consider.
                              From HYD to Tirupati, our total flight cost was 76189/- for 5 people. I don't see this anywhere.

                              and this is not a direct flight via Viajyawada, then after waiting 2 to 3 hours in Vijayawada, from there we reached Tirupati in another flight. We should have reached Tirupati by afternoon, but we reached it by night.
                              I felt disgusted with the Indigo services.
