We had participated in Gold scheme of Kalyan Jewellers and timely paid all the installments. Before 2 months of the yearly due date of the scheme we went there and selected the jewellery. On the due date we went to collect the jewellery and they informed us that its not made yet and there is a delay. Now there has been 22 day delay and Gold prices have gone up. Now they want us to pay today's price, while we want to pay the price of gold as on due date, becoz the delay was from their side. Inspite of several phone calls they are not giving our jewellery neither our money.

Same thing happened with us also. We are asking for the gold price of selection date or of due date. But they are asking the higher price of that day when we take the delivery. All the clauses that mentioned are in their favour and the making charge also not as mentioned by word I.e. 2.5%. Nothing in favour of consumer. Then what is the benefit in joining the scheme? The company should do something about it. The gold price they are asking is also in higher side than the market price of that day.
