Dear sir/ madam,
I, mr. Shahnawaz khan, write in response to the telephonic conversation i had with mr. Avinash on 16th may 2020 regarding concerns with the above mentioned account.
I believe that the bill i received from your end reflects a much higher bill amount than the actual consumption. I wish to dispute this bill for the following reasons:
· the gas meter was installed on the 20th of november, 2019 and supply was made two days later.
· since my house was under renovation in the month of december, i abstained from using the gas for any cooking purposes for over a week.
· thus, from the day of installation to the 1st bill date i. E. 15th january my consumption of gas has been very less but still i received a bill of rs. 734/-
· upon enquiry and comparison with the chairman of our society, i realized that the meter is probably a faulty one as the number of digits/ decimals are different for me.
· despite this, when i received the 2nd bill for rs. 2457/- on 15th march 2020, i ended up paying it online on the 23rd march 2020.
· but again i have received a bill of rs.1218/- on the 15th of may 2020, showing gas consumption charges of rs. 1069/- while the same bill cycle for neighbors shows only around rs. 250/-
· this is nearly impossible.
Please look into this matter at the earliest and send one of your executives to change the faulty meter.
Whatever bill amount has been paid to date should thereby be adjusted in the future or be refunded.
