Issue: 100% cashless was rejected by insurance company even after providing required documents.
I had called the medi assist support team more than 20 times on 25/12/2019 between 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm but my issue was not resolved.
First i had intimated the medi assist insurance team 72 hours before admitting my mother to hospital. Later due to severe pain in back i had to admit her before 72 hours of intimation. Because of the severe pain and unable to walk i had admitted my mother on emergency condition. But i had called insurance team just before admitting her to hospital and raised the emergency intimation (Emergency intimation number being "345642").
The doctor also in discharge summary had mentioned it was an emergency admission but the insurance team is not accepting the fact and has deducted 10% which is not acceptable and later i had to pay from my pocket.
And i had to discharge her during midnight.
I want my money to be refunded back to my account which i had payed from my pocket. I want 100% cashless claim and not 90% which is the current approval. The insurance company should refund nearly 28000 rupees to my account. Was this information helpful? |
