We have painted our apartment using NIPPON weather bond with 10 years warranty.
The sales person (Shankar) told it will be sliding warranty and for first 5 years all the painting and labour cost will be borne by Nippon and from the 6th year the cost will be 10 % by customer and 90% by Nippon and for 7th year it will be 20% by customer and 80% by Nippon and so on.
But when the actual warranty card came, i was shocked as they mentioned the warranty is 100% only for the first year and for 2nd year 80% cost by Nippon and 20% by customer and for 3rd year 60% by Nippon and 40% by customer and for the rest of the warranty period 20% by Nippon and 80% by customer. How come this is 01 years warranty.
Before getting the order false information was given to me, and after full payment is made to the vendor, the warranty comes with different clause.
I have painted recently in the month of May, but got the warranty card after 45 days with multiple followups.
My brother in law apartment also painted with NIPPON Weather bond during the same period, but they have got full 10 years warranty
Why there is difference of warranty for the same product. Was this information helpful? |
