Hello All - I am writing this email as a frustrated and devastated customer of Nippon paint.
We wanted to paint our house and had a conversation with Mr Sabari from Nippon paint in the month of March 2022.
He was very active and helped us kindly until the quotation was given and until we paid the advance amount of 10%.
Total quotation given - Rs 85, 866
First 10% paid on March 23rd 2022 – Rs 8055
Second instalment 50% paid on April 14th - RS 34, 879
The proposed date for starting the work at our home was Apr 25th. With the utmost belief in the service of Nippon paint we started packing things by ourselves and kept the rooms ready for the work on the said date.
BUT the workers did not show up and after a lot of calls with Mr Sabari and customer care, 2 people (Non Nippon paint professionals) were allocated on the afternoon of Apr 28th.
The actual work started on Apr 28th afternoon and continued till May 11th 2022. Most of the days it was only one person who was working and it was such an inconvenience for us to stay in the house and get this work done with minimal work force.
Since as per initial forecast it was ONLY 7 days but they could not complete the work even in 12 working days because of minimal work force.
We had plans for vacation and have to travel between May 12th – May 21st. This was well informed to the Head painter and Supervisor.
They were reachable on May 21st and promised to resume back the remaining work but never showed up.
From May 22nd none of them have been picking up the phone and it was such a pain as a customer whose house work is incomplete with all the household things and paint boxes all over the house.
So WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THIS ENGAGEMENT WITH NIPPON PAINT AND SINCE IT WAS SUCH A PAIN AND INCONVENIENCE CAUSED TO US, WE ALSO WANT TO GET THE REFUND OF THE AMOUNT THAT WE HAVE PAID.
BECAUSE OF THIS WE HAVE LOST OUR MENTAL PEACE, WE COULD NOT CONTINUE OUR DAILY CHORES OF OFFICE WORK ALSO.
