[Resolved]  Ola Money — ola money postpaid fraud and threatening with repeated calls

Hi ola cabs,

On last three auto rides, we have paid the amounts as soon as we got down.
As we use ola cabs occasionally, we have no idea about ola postpaid services and i didn't even know about it and even driver didn't mentioned about the payment.
But now i'm getting text messages and emails from ola that clear your dues - 154/-.

I have already sent multiple mails to ola support teams - [protected]@zipcash.in, [protected]@olamoney.com, [protected]@olamoneypostpaid. Zendesk.com, but there is no proper response.
Below are the ticket numbers been generated on every-time raise a request,

And from the last few days, started getting harassment calls to clear the dues.

Why should we pay the amount when we have already paid to the driver.
This looks some kind of fraud is going with this kind of post paid services, without providing proper information/ notifications to the customer.

First streamline your business process properly and then start the services.
Don't harass your customers with this kind of half-baked business process models

I request ola please provide proper support and stop this harassment to your customer.

Hi Team,

I am also facing such a repeated calls from Ola. I have cleared my due on Dec 10 2021 and have shared the proof of payment also.

Still getting calls to make payment without giving proper reasoning. Why should I pay second time for no reason.

Upon that they are also charging late payment fee on the payment which I have already done. Ola why can’t you have centralised system to monitor your payment.

Calling customers from multiple number without giving proper reasoning will give a bad customer experience.

I was a loyal customer to Ola for long. No longer I am interested in using your service. This way you are going to loose all customers for no reason.

I’m also facing the same issue. I had a complaint with my last ride where I was charged wrongly. My total ola postpaid due became 2050/- which was a lot more than my ride fare. I got a call from Ola saying that I can pay ₹840 and the remaining ₹1210 will be cleared from their side. I got a link for the payment as well as an email too. So I immediately cleared it but it has been two months now, and my postpaid due is still shown as uncleared with extra ₹200 charged for late fee.

I had also sent multiple emails repeatedly explaining my problem, and also asking for a callback. I had not yet received a reply to this but yet I get endless emails and call spams from them. I have even received whatsapp messages saying that they will come to my residence!

I am planning to take legal actions against them is my issue is not resolved by this month.

I was also a loyal customer to Ola and even preferred the app from other similar ones. Even if my issue gets resolved, I’m never using it again.

I could see that many customers have been victimized by ola postpaid services.
I hv booked a ride on 12th Mar 2022 for which I hv paid 123 rs in cash. After a month, started to receive messages and calls asking to pay post paid dues for the same ride I hv paid in cash for. I didn't active post paid service in my a app, I wasn't aware that ola offered post paid services. I ws not notified by ola app that my ride ws being booked under postpaid. This is definitely someone else's mistake forcwhich customers is being harassed. I hv sent 2 emails to ola support, tweeted my CRN and ride info.. but no action yet.

I have raised grievance in cyber crime portal against ola.
Without our knowledge, they created post paid account. Without our consent they withdrew money from that account. We didn't select postpaid as payment however they took money from that account. This is cheating. Ola is a fradulent company. Please submit issue in cyber crime.

I raised similar issue with ola customer care. Told them specifically that I paid driver with cash. But the customer care person put me on hold stating that he is verifying with driver and then told me simply that driver denied taking payment. I disputed it. They opened a ticket but later I received email from them asking me to provide proof of credit/ debit/ upi payment made to driver. They said the issue is resolved. That's when I logged a complaint in cyber crime portal.

And then i informed them about my complaint in cyber crime. Now they have asked me to provide CRN number. I have shared it and waiting for an update. You can also do the same.
I am also facing the same issue…I don’t know even after paying driver full amount why is Ola saying you have used postpaid

And harassing us everyday.

I have tried sending mails but a generic reply comes that Ola payments has nothing to do with Ola cabs you follow up for driver refund issue with them.

In first place I don’t know Ola postpaid I only know Ola cabs you are interfering in my privacy as I don’t know who you are.

RBI should look into this startup’s which for business ruin customers life by calling unprecedentedly without any fault

Olamoney is behaving like gundaas and cons and this is even alllowded in our country in 21st century, the technology and dovelopment era. Our government system must have complaints about OLA money but still this is all going.

I got disputed billing from OLA where i paid to driver and ola money postpai as well for same ride

After one and half months of complaining i got an email from OLA money that the disputed amount will be adjusted and i need to pay the remaining balance which i paid instantly, but after paying my ola account is still showing payment due and i am receiving call for payments.

Already filed the complaint in national consumer help desk and now going to file another complaint for this issue.
I am facing an issue in OLA money postpaid, i am not using OLA money Rs.196 but last 45days i received a continuous calls and messages related to this amount. Actually my last ride amount is Rs.146 also driver asked extra amount, we paid by cash Rs.180. They having the history of my rides, but they won't checked that.

In the system generated call, they said "case will be filed" for that amount

I raised a complaint, but the issue ticket closed by OLA without my permission.[protected]

I raised a complaint 2 3 times, i attend the above 10 calls from customer care call they speak in Hindi i am asking to speak in English they cut the call very very worst customer service in OLA.

Many times OLA cab is cancelled by drivers, very worst service in India.

Rs.196 is little amount but why i need to pay.

I have paid the amount in cash for the last 3 rides in Ola, I haven’t used any wallet money and I haven’t requested any Ola money option, I have been paying in cash for the past 4-5 rides, but continuously receiving messages and calls to pay outstanding Ola money, this is frustrating how can I pay money without using those options, I am not even aware of that I just booked and paid the money in cash to the drivers, I request you to kindly look on this, I never ever requested any wallet amount I didn’t submit any KYC details, I can’t pay double amount for the ride I paid already. Please do needful.

I have raised this issue many times through emails and calls but rather than resolving it you people continuously charging extra fee for that amount.

I took this cab ride in Bangalore from a homestay to the airport on 3rd July and my payment was set to cash.
I paid the full amount Rs. 1545 through Gpay to the driver and went in as I was in a rush. Later, I noticed that Ola was basically asking me to pay Rs. 1000 through OlaMoney and the rest to the driver. I contacted the driver and requested the money back but he never responded.

I have paid for the trip in full. I tried contacting customer service but couldn’t get through and the automated system wouldn’t let me chat to a representative. I have mailed your customer support and grievances nodal but no one responded again. I am being bombarded with spam calls and notifications and messages from Ola to pay the money under OlaMoney payment but that shouldn’t be applicable since I have paid my share. If anything, you should take this up with the driver.

I will seek legal support if this continues. This is really annoying and such bad customer service.
