I had an airport ride on 7th June’22. After this ride, I got a notification that my postpaid due date was nearing and that I should make the payment soon. To my surprise, the due amount was 2050 for a mere car ride to the airport which was just 10-15 minutes from my place (Vasant Kunj to IGI Airport Delhi). I filed a complaint to which Ola replied that I had taken a ride to Haryana which I did not.
Luckily I got through with the resolution and got a phone call where I was asked to pay for ₹840 and the remaining ₹1210 would be paid from their end. The agent also told me on the call that my account will be updated after 2-3 working days so I immediately made the payment.
However, this is where my problem started. I noticed that my account was not updated and that I was still getting the notice for late payment. It has been 2 months after this issue so my due amount got increased to 2250 (₹100 for each month)
If Ola had settled the amount as per their arrangement and if they had updated my account after I made the payment, I would not have been charged with the late fee and I would have continued using the app.
Now I’m bombarded with endless scam calls as well as emails and messages. I even received two whatsapp messages threatening to come to my house to get the money.
I had sent multiple emails explaining my issue as well as asking for a person to call back and not the automated ones, but I’m yet to get a reply.
They keep sending spam mails and calls but not even once had they tried to settle my issue nor made an effort for an agent to call me.
If anyone is reading this apart from Ola, please be careful when it comes to money. Do not trust them blindly like I did when they called and ‘pretended’ to resolve my issue. Now I had paid ₹840 as per the call and still left with my postpaid due along with extra ₹200 late fee charge.
I sincerely hope my issue will get resolved
