I had booked a room through oyo at hotel brigade royale in bangalore on 25jan 2019 for a day, however the bed had bedbugs and was not hygienicas projected by oyo. I raised the issue to oyo however they asked me to pay the differential amount incase i wanted to shift. I was given another room in the we hotel which was having cockroaches for which i raised the issue to oyo but they did not help and each time i called them i was given vague answers like we are speaking to the ground team, we will get back to you, our ground team works from 9 am to 9pm only.. Etc, hence since it was late at night i was forced to continue my stay in the hotel with the insects for which i had a sleepless night.
The next morning when i called oyo to check the status the response was the same. I demanded a refund for my accomodation for which they refused also when i asked for a refund the previous night i was told that the process will take 7days.
Finally on 26th after continuing my follow up with them they sent me a mail stating that they would give me a 20% discount on their next booking for which i do not agree.
I demand a refund/compensationfor the harassment caused by the inefficiency of oyo as my earlier booking with oyo in goa at goa's pearl also had the same issue.
Request you to kindly look into this and task oyo for cheating customers and compensate me for the harassment caused.
