We booked the oyo room from december 15-16th, 2019. Oyo's room in hyderabad (Capital o 15079 tfcc
Near ministers quaters, hyderabad) did not have running water in the bathroom, we kept calling the hotel staff and oyo for a resolution but they did not do anything. The hotel staff asked us to move another oyo as the issue will not be resolved. The oyo did not have basic toiletries such as toilet paper too.
We called oyo for a solution, and this is what they responded with:
- placed us on a hold every time we called, and they would disconnect.
- they would say that they will back, but we did not receive a call that night.
Then, we moved to another oyo (44240 premium stay banjara hills) place at 12: 30 am midnight to another location called oyo premium stay. With the recent events happening in the state, it is not fair that make a girl travel to another location. It is a risk to safety too.
- the place did not have signage and there were guys drinking in the lobby.
- they did not provide drinking water bottles. (When asked for water bottles, the staff refilled plastic water bottles unsealed and gave it to us)
- the washrooms were dirty and had many stains (I have attached images as evidence)
- the mattress and blanket was wet as water leaked onto it.
- both rooms did not hot water as claimed on the website
- we had to pay for both the rooms.
Oyo is trying to cheat consumers by uploading images of their rooms that is not true. It is unethical and should be considered illegal as it is not the product that they adverstise on their website.
We received a call from oyo in the morning from different managers but there was no resolution, they said we will receive 20% of our money back. Why should we pay for 2 rooms when it is not our fault?
