I have raised an issue and its a month now, yet no information on my refund.
On September 13 2021, i booked a stay for 2 in OYO 79096 De Heritage for Rs. 768/- booking ID XPM80991,
At the time of check-in i was denied access and was told that it was low on tarrif issue. I spoke to the Oyo team and told them my situation. I was in an emergency at the time of denial at the hotel.
The Oyo Assistant that i spoke to understood my situation and assured me a total refund and stated that the refund will be given due to the inconveniences occurred will be a FREESTAY for me. Also she mentioned that she will book me a hotel nearby for the same price range to which i agreed. I only accepted for an other hotel nearby because of her assurance on a complete refund due to the inconveniences costed or else i would asked for a direct refund after denial at check-in. After she booked me a hotel nearby OYO 36142, i was told to pay Rs. 121 at check-in. To which i refused as i was offered a free stay. But later they told me that i would get a refund of both my payments of Rs. 768 and Rs. 121 after check-out.
I was told that i would receive a mail regarding the same wher i would have to fill my account details and my refund will be processed. After days of contacting the Oyo Team and talking, i was able to get my refund amount of Rs. 121.
I recently received a mail asking for my bank details to which i provided them with the same. Now, when i contacted the Oyo Yo for the status they said only refund amount of Rs. 121 was to be given and that has successfully done.
I stil haven't received any information on my refund of Rs. 768 from OYO, even after giving my required bank details.
I was promised a refund in just 14 days, its been one month and yet not a single word. This is just day light robbery that Oyo has been doing. Was this information helpful? |
