I booked a hotel at munnar from 22-24 december (Booking id - pawv6753). When i reached hotel merimaid, i was denied checkin. Turns out that he has cancelled all of the bookings by oyo and informed them. But oyo didn't inform us. At 8 pm, we called them regarding it, they shifted us to mehakira inn. When we reached mehakira inn, we were again denied check-in. The hotel guy was saying that our booking is from 23-24 december but in our app 22-24 december was clearly stated. I called the customer care multiple times. When no solution was provided after 2.5 hours, i booked a room at a local hotel myself at around 10:30 pm. I also formally dropped an email stating the above and to cancel my booking.
Since then i have called oyo rooms multiple times. They always disconnect the call saying we are looking into it and till now no promise of refund has been made. This is so unprofessional from oyo and unacceptable at all. What about our suffering for those 2.5 hours in the chilly cold weather on streets?
