I had booked a room in oyo hotel capital 0 15351 vikram palace for 23rd nov-24th nov through makemytrip app. When i reached their reception at 7 am, they told me early check in is not possible as they have a lot of rush due to some festival. Completely understandable.
I waited till 10 am in their reception and then thought it better to complete my work and then come back after 12pm. When i reported back at 1:15 pm, apparently the reception is not willing to talk to me even after i kept showing them my booking and supposedly they told the mmt people they don't have any tie up with them. The owner has other ideas, he said when he could have customers paying 5000 bucks, why should i give a room to a guy who has booked for 1500, even though its a confirmed booking. And they were willing to entertain other customers who have come after me and given them rooms but not willing to talk to me.
So after whatever self-respect i had left, i left their hotel and promised never to set foot in an oyo again. All these marketing campaigns, big words centered around customer service and a huge sales team would not mean a singe thing if you can't even talk to the customers in a kind manner. I am not pissed off about the room neither concerned about the fact that i didn't sleep for 24hrs or had a meal only at 5pm.
I expected the @oyo people to be at least explain it to me or apologize to me but i guess that's just too much to expect from them. Congratulations oyofor truly on the path to become a corporate devoid of any human touch.
