On 25th april, i have booked hotel ambrosia, indore yesterday night from oyo app and when i had reached to reception, receptionist named nikhil denied on us to checkin because we are an unmarried couple with local id and there is election aachar sahinta going on. However this hotel is listed under couple friendly and accepts local id. At the same time i called oyo support and the agent asked to handover phone to receptionist, and receptionist denied to agent over phone as well and handover me the phone. Then i asked agent to shift me to another property or process the refund but she (Agent) said that our manager will call you in 10 mins and nobody called, i have waited there for almost 30 mins outside the hotel. Then i made another call to oyo support, the another agent who came on call said he is escalating the issue to his senior and he will call me back in an hour. Then after an hour same thing - no call no show. Then i finally got that oyo doesn't care about his customer anymore, the way oyo was earlier is not in the present. But my money is already trapped and i was stranded on road for nothing. I was hell pissed off of 2 hours of long wait and then finally made 3rd call to oyo support, and the guy said he is connecting me to his senior and put me on hold for 40 mins and then call disconnected automatically, its 11 pm now and went to home with aggression and sorrow. Now today the 26th at 12:26 pm, i made another call in a very calm way and requested very nicely to refund the amount, the agent again put me on hold so he can transfer my call to his supervisor and call got disconnected automatically or from his side after 8 mins. I mean what kind of # customer service you guys are giving to your customer? Real people talk like machine and doesn't get you a solution? # hotels which doesn't respect either. Why i trust oyo in future if my first ever experience is that horrible? Anyway i need my refund asap, please process it or i will go to consumer court. I am seriously pissed off.
