[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — I was denied check in and refund not yet done.

We were traveling to hyderabad and booked the hotel through oyo.

Booking date : october 22 to october 24 2019
Booking id : zlcj1529
No of guests : 4
Days : 2
Amount paid online - 2835

Detailing my issue against my booking in vaisai cottage below:

We were denied checkin in the hotel saying only one room is available and they said we don’t agree the payment which you have made online, they asked us to request refund (I think they wanted only cash payment) or else wait here at the hotel until any guest check out.

On the late night 11pm, we cannot blindly wait for any guest checkout, and the main concern is we found some illegal things were going on in the rooms.. When we were waiting many guys has come and they provided the rooms without any checkin process.

We were not comfortable with the hotel ambience and the illegal activities happening around us.

Even though they denied our checkin, so i informed the oyo customer care to check for alternate rooms in other hotel but still there is no response from customer care too.

We were totally annoyed and disappointed with hotel guy and also oyo.

Finally after some struggle travelling 14kms, we found the other oyo and stayed oyo flagship 469 hyderabad.

Now we want refund of the amount which we paid for vaisai cottage (Booking id : zlcj1529) rs. 2835.

Payment made through credit card ending 8996.

Since day 1 i am escalating this issue to oyo customer care for refund, but every time somebody picks up the call and i was keep on explaining the situation to everybody. All i got was., sir, we’ve escalated this issue our team is checking with the hotel.. After validating we will provide the refund. But its been more than 1 month and there is no solution provided.

Finally when i called customer care today, they are saying that refund is not at all possible because its been more than a month since your issue happened.

But from day 1 im calling and they were keep on dragging it till now and finally they are saying refund is not possible because its been a month.
