[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — no refund despite of oyo's promise email dated oct 23, 2018 (qhao1978)

I booked a room through oyo from oct 18 to oct 21 2018. I made the payment on arrival at the hotel (Rs. 2122 x 3 nights = rs. 6366; took a membership card on manager's recommendation which gave additional discount).

I had to check out on 19 oct 2018 before 12 pm due to a medical emergency. During my checkout the manager at oyo townhouse 009 hitech city suggested me to call the customer care for refund and they would process it. Trusting that i did the same and after a long call and email conversations on oct 23, 2018 the escalation team promised me that they would refund an amount of rs. 4264 (For the remaining 2 days) as refund in 7 to 14 working days. As on date i haven't received any refund. Now they are claiming that i have never made the payment at all. I am really fed up with them and i want my refund at any cost at the earliest.

I have attached the following details:
Booking details: proof for booking from oct 18 to 21 (Rs. 2122 x 3 nights = rs. 6366)
Oyo acknowledgement: oyo promised me a refund of rs. 4264 in 7 to 14 working days email dated oct 23, 2018.

I have received an email only today (6-Dec-2018) and the customer care has mentioned that "as per telephonic conversation...refund of INR '2016' against...".
Firstly there was no telephonic conversation and I have been requesting the refund of Rs. 4264 and which they acknowledged in the email dated 23 Oct 2018. Now Oyo is trying to project that INR 2016 would only be refunded, despite of the promise they made in their earlier email.
I have requested for a written explanation on why the amount Rs. 4264 would not be refunded as per their promise and why they are trying to refund Rs. 2016. I request to have a written explanation.
I want the full amount to be refunded Rs. 4264 and not Rs. 2016.
There is no telephonic conversation where we reached an agreement as they have stated. I am requesting for the full amount refund since October. Now it is December, yet they are in confusion to refund the amount.

Despite of repeated requests and lot of emails. Again oyo sent an email on Dec 10, 2018 telling that the amount would be refunded in 7 to 14 working days. So far not even a single rupee has been refunded. Oyo is really frustrating me with the delayed response. I would like them to commit to the email dated Dec 10, 208 and provide the refund by today. Very pathetic response by the Oyo rooms. They are not bothered by repeated complaints and requests. Im worried now, any initiation may again make them reply "7 to 14"working days. And that 7 to 14 working days from october has never come to Oyo. Now they will again delay by telling the same thing. Please find the snapshot from oyo regarding their email. So far no refund.
