Oyo (On your own) - you’ll be stranded to figure out things “on your own” - that was my expereince with oyorooms yesterday. I had a confirmed booking at hotel corporate inn kolkata vide lksq6420 at oyo 30316 for 30th nov night. This was for senior citizen and i confirmed availability of lift before the booking. The person at the reception was rude and mentioned that the lift does not work after particular floor and can offer room only at higher floors which are not accessible by lift. So, we were practically stranded and calling oyo customer service at that point of time was such a frustrating expereince. No practical help from oyo at such situation, hired a cab to find out other hotels and on our own, somehow could secure a room in a hotel nearby. With 70 + aged relatives around, it was such a harrowing experience to manage.
After all these, when oyo sent me the link for feedback, the option to provide a feedback is only available if i can choose ‘i stayed with the hotel’. This is to legally cover oneself so that it can be mentioned that we didn’t get your feedback.
The experience was so bad that will recommend people to choose an un’oyo’ experience for hotel booking. Was this information helpful? |
