[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — problems faced in hotels and harassed by oyo team

Dear sir,

This complaint is regarding problems faced in hotels and large amount charged by oyo.

1. On dated 29 dec 2018, i was booked 2 oyo rooms in hotel no: 24906 hill view guest house and paid rs 5598 by paytm (Prepaid). I was faced following issues in this hotel.
A. Bulb holder was not working in wash room.
B. Geyser not working.
C. Hot water not provided by hotel for drinking and bathing for timely. We tied to a manager lot of times after that they provided only one bucket of hot water in one room for bathing. One bucket was used by two people.
D. Bedsheet and blanket were very dirty.
E. Complimentary breakfast provided by oyo app, but a hotel manager denied the same and said breakfast is not available in your booking. But we insist to him, then they provided only bread with tea.

2. On dated 30 dec 2018, i was booked 2 oyo rooms in hotel royal inn 10694 and paid rs 3168 by upi and rs 3170 by cash in hotel, we faced the following issues in this hotel.
A. Bedsheet and blanket were not clean.
B. Tv was not working in one room
C. Complimentary breakfast provided by oyo app, but a hotel manager denied the same and said breakfast is not available in your booking.

3. On dated 31 dec 2018, i was booked 2 oyo room in hotel 12187 and paid rs. 1942 (50% advance) by upi. Before one hour from check in the hotel, i received the call from hotel 12187 and got information that our booking has been shifted from hotel 12187 to hotel 13818. The distance between hotel 13818 to kasuli is 15 km approx and distance between hotel 12187 and kasuli is 4.5 km approx. Then i called to the oyo call center and i request to oyo for shifting our hotel at the nearest kasauli.
Because hotel 13818 has no market in nearby. Mr. Ankit senior head in oyo service care told me that they will shift asap. I was waiting for ankit call almost 2 hour but did not receive calls from ankit. Then i have cancelled my plan and move to chandigarh.
After a lot of coordination with customer care i received my amount of rs 1942 back yesterday. But my new year plan was cancelled due to oyo.

Refer to above point no 1 and 2, i was paid more than they deserve. Oyo charged big amount from me but did not provide any facility according to money. The money was charged by oyo only for the new year session not for facility and services. So it is better if oyo think about that and charge suitable charged for these hotels and refund the extra amount which was paid by me.

Refer to point no 3, my all plan was cancelled due to hotel shifted by oyo from 12187 to 13818. Also, i was standup with my family in kanda village on 31st dec 2018 7 to 9 pm. Almost two hour. Me and my family was harassed by oyo.
