Oyo Rooms — refund status shows success but money is not credited in bank account

Hello - I cancelled my booking with oyo rooms and have a refund pending in the amount of rs 9290/- The status on oyo says that the refund is successful but i haven’t received any money in my bank account. Tried calling their customer service but the ivr machine simply hangs up after saying your refund is complete. Please share your booking ID or contact details over a direct message so that we can get in touch with you at the earliest. ~Bella Feb 17, 2020 Updated by Rahularora26 So a customer care executive reached out to me last week and asked me to check with the bank using the transaction id he provided. The bank does not have that transaction id in their records. I emailed back to the executive but there’s no response from him yet. It’s just a painful experience. I am not sure why the customer has to reach the bank in order to check the refund status. It’s OYO who should take this responsibility. Please process the refund. It’s not a small amount, it’s close to Rs 10, 000. I’ve seen several such complaints on this forum and it’s a shame OYO hasn’t done anything to streamline their processes.
