My name is Sreeraj Venugopal M P. On 12th April 2014, I have booked rooms using oyo. I have booked the room by splitting it like 7 and 8 nights for availing their offer price twice. Booking id: HINF0631 & I9JH4773.
I have given an advance payment of one of the booking. The moment after completing the advance payment transaction, I got a call from a man who said he's oyo room representative. He said all my personal and booking details and send WhatsApp messages exactly like oyo room official message which includes my Name, Date of Booking, Booking ID, Number of guest, Details of property and advance payment informations. I believed that person because he had all the details that are only known to me and oyo. Everyone in this world is like that we will verify a company calls with the details they have about our booking.
He said that if I'm completing the full payment I will get a discount. He also send me a upi adress "[protected]@upi" . I lost Rupees 12434. When I posted a tweet regarding this oyo said they don't have anything to do with this and will try to prevent anything like this in future. I want my money and compensation from oyo. They leaked my data to someone and with that data only I lost money. Oyo do have the responsibility to take care of my personal and booking data. I will attach the screenshots of WhatsApp chat and I have also filed a FIR on this issue. I would like to request you to kindly solve the issue and take action against oyo. I want money and compensation for whatever have happened to me.
