[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — unprofessionalism/overpayment

I booked a room (Booking id ejys4920) for 23rd dec at hotel golden nest (Oyo 8678). When i reached there with my family, i found there is no parking facility at the hotel for the 4 wheeler and the hotel is not as per the expectation.

I managed to find a hotel (Oyo 3958) near by having all the facilities i anticipated and requested oyo team to transfer my accommodation. It took 5 calls and 2 hrs to get this done. Meanwhile me and my family had to wait outside the new hotel waiting for the confirmation.

Issues :
1) the first 3 oyo representatives put me on hold for approx 15 min and all 3 calls got disconnected
2) the 4th representative confirmed that the booking can be done however i
Have to pay rs 2100 as a difference charges to the new hotel, which i then agreed to pay
3) after waiting approx 15 for the confirmation, i called the oyo team again. This time again a new person picked the phone and said the additional charges i have to bear is rs 2900 not rs 2100

With no choice and sitting outside the hotel premise for long tiring 2 hrs i paid the amount rs 2900. After making the payment i informed the oyo team about the same and requested to look into the matter. I was promised to receive a call back for the over payment made however no phone call received even after 24 hrs.

Could anyone from the oyo team look into this and confirm what appropriate action would be taken to resolve the issue. Its a shame to experience such unprofessionalism from a well known organization like oyo.
