The packers and movers from porter came and asked for an additional 3.5k on top of the booking amount shown in the app. Since I had to move that day, I paid it. After the stuff was moved, I saw that they broke my TV. The screen was damaged completely. It’s a big loss for me. I called porter to report about this but they said they can’t help with damaged goods. What’s the point of hiring “professionals” if they are not liable to all? According to porter, if during the move, the movers decided to just steal all the items and never return, it’s the fault of the customer for trusting porter in the first place.
I have notified Porter multiple times and have received no resolution.
