I have booked five tickets for myself and family members of spicejet flight on 04.07.2019 form kanpur to mumbai on 04.07.2019.The flight was scheduled to depart from kanpur at 17.20 on 05.07.2019.We reached at kanpur airport on time, taken the boarding passes and also cleared the security wall in advance. After security check we have been told that the flight is delayed by one hour and will leave kanpur airport by 18.15 hours.The flight came about 18.15 hours at kanpur but did not landed.Afterwards we have been told by the staff that flight is canceled and the fare will be credited in the account from where it was booked within next 7 days.The checkin bagges were also handed over back to us.
It was urgent to reach at Mumbai, now who is responsible for last minute cancellation? Why spicejet keeping our money for 07 days? Why spicejet not returning the money with penal interest?Who is responsible for the valuable time got wasted due to improper management of spicejet staff?Is it not spicejets moral responsibility to compensate the damaged done to all passengers in the form of monetary benefit or arranging seats in next day flight?
