I was supposed to fly with spice jet flight sg12 from dubai to delhi on 31st may 2019. The flight departure time was 10:45 pm. I reached the check-in counter exactly at 9:38 pm and there was a person before me who was being issued the boarding pass. I reached the counter at 9:41 pm after the person before me was handed his pass and the attendant refused to issue the boarding pass saying the counter was closed at 9:40. I told her the check-in is until 9:45 pm as per the rule on the ticket which i attach. However, she continued to argue with me and did not issue the pass saying that the airlines had called her to stop boarding. However, it was while she was arguing with me that she received a call from the airline to stop the boarding after she had already wasted 10 minutes with me. She lied on my face and refused to issue a boarding pass even though i was present within the defined timeline on the ticket despite my repeated requests. As such, i would request you to take this matter up urgently and very seriously. Not only was i denied a pass when i was in full right to get one, i have to now also delay my journey by 1 day and get a new ticket issued for close to 2000 aed (Or rs 39000). I would request a complete compensation from the airlines for this mental and financial trouble i have had to face due to the inexpiable behavior of the attendant.
