Dear Sir,
i am agent of your company and our agendcy id is BLRRP80223. My commissions are pending since May 2011. My complaint is that even after my several reminders to Mr. Ajith madhavan from your sales desk @ bangalore and me sending emails and faxes to[protected] and 3913853 my issue is not resolved till date. There has been absoulutely no response from your company on the issue. Whenvere i have tried calling your manager Mr. Ajith Madhavan at Bangalore on [protected] I have been always told that he is driving. I dont think your company is paying him for only driving all day across and not finding time to call back. Please let me know what has to be done. And will the concerned please call me on [protected]

    I travelled with SpiceJet from Jaipur to Hyderabad.
    1. I was told my hand baggage is big despite the fact it being standard size and not a single time have I faced that issue whether travelling abroad or in India
    2. On mentioning that I was charged extra baggage as it was overweight. Point to note here is on the website itself the baggage allowance is 10 kg for hand baggage BUT that day Spice Jet changed it to 7kg and we were not informed about the same beforehand. Either the passengers be informed or they should not be charged. It was as simple as extortion as most passengers did not have any options after coming to airport.

    Spice jet sucks ... We were 2 adult and 1 child, carrying 2 hand baggage were the weight of the bags was 21 kgs ..they told me tht I cannot carry 2 bags I need to carry 3 bags and distibute the weight 7 kgs each ...I had no extra bags ...tthey asked me to take my luggage in a carry bag and was asked to check in 1 of my bags, they charged me 2500 for 10 kgs calling it extra baggage ...highly unprofessional airline, to make money they would go to any extent ...they have not mentioned anything about 7 kgs in their website ..it shows 10 kgs hand baggage ...the airline should make it a point to inform about the baggage weight so tht no body has a bad experience like mine ...uncooperative ..rude..inefficient employees working with spice jet ...

      Hi,

      While traveling on Spicejet flight from Delhi to Mumbai, one of my baggages was mishandled. The bag suffered damages in three places

      1. Its trolley got broken
      2. Its Badges got Torn
      3. It got badly soiled

      I was told that spicejet will reimburse me with INR 500/- for the damages to the trolley and can not get it repaired.
      Next day, I got email from customer care (Jaspreet Kaur), without mentioning the amount (INR 500). The email asked me to revert to them, without clarifying what they wanted me to confirm. I still confirmed the details mentioned and never heard back from them.

      Now they are saying that they can not compensate me at all.

      As per one of the telephonic conversations on 1 August 2011, one of spicejet's customer care executives told me that the estimated costs for the above said damages were between INR 1,000 to INR 2,000.

        I had booked a flight on 24th June. Since the flight kept getting delayed, I finally cancelled it and booked an alternative. I was promised a 100% refund within 5 days, since the flight had been delayed more than 2 hours.
        That refund never happened. When I finally called up after some days, I was told there was a technical error - nobody seemed to know wat the erroer was, nor were they interested in finding out.
        I was again told 5 working days - this time pucca.
        Again, no refund, and no call-back.
        I followed up again for 3-4 days continuously - each time, either there was no supervisor present who could take this "escalated complaint", or they were too busy - I was promised a call-back within 2 hours everytime.
        Neither the call-back nor the refund came through.
        Finally, i've written to the airline appellate authority, and the nodal officer in the airline (address on Spicejet website) asking for intervention.
        Waiting for something to happen.
        Does anyone know anyplace else where I can tka this complaint to ? It's a credit card refund, so i'm paying interest @ 34% on the refund outstanding for no fault of my own.

          Flight SG524 was supposed to take off at 2040 from Bengaluru for Kolkata this evening. It was delayed by 20 minutes (or so the ground staff at the check-in counter said).

          The flight takes normally takes 1 hour 55 minutes, so should have landed in Kolkata around 2300 hours. That was when the flight eventually took off and it has just landed at Kolkata airport at 0045 hours. The passengers boarded the aircraft at around 2045 in Bengaluru but were made to sit in the aircraft for close to 2 hours.

          I called the SpiceJet toll free number[protected] at 0011 hours and was told, which now has been proven to be a complete lie, that the flight took off from Bengaluru at 2039 hours and landed in Kolkata at 2300 hours! Being late is one things - telling lies is another thing altogether!

          Having made the passengers sit that long in the aircraft and ensuring that they only reach home at close to 0200 in the morning, this kind of behaviour on the part of the airlines is, quite frankly, shameful. The sad part is that this will probably be repeated and no apology be made!

          I have since then, repeatedly posted this message on the Facebook page of SpiceJet, only to have it removed almost immediately! Where and how can I take this further?

            My wife, Debopriya missed the Spicejet flight vide Flight No SG-872, PNR No U95IAS, Kolkata to Hyderabad, as the Ground Staff didnot allow her to board the flight as she reached 40 -45 minutes before the schedule depurture of the said flight.

            She had the web checkin made vide Seat No 21-A, behind the Left side Wing.

            She made a 15 late in reaching the airport due to the heavy downpour and huge traffick in the International Airport. The same thing was being tried to convinse to the ground staff where the Counter Girls were convinced but the On Duty Supervisor, Mr Bhupesh was rigid and rude in his decession. She not only let my wife to travell the flight, but took a good lesson to my wife of being late to the Airport and the the penalties that may happen...etc etc....

            The Funniest part was, the Flight departed 5-7 minutes late to the scheduled depurture.

            Not Only My wife, they didnot allow one more lady too but allowed a group of people who reached 10 minutes after my wife reached to Airport.

            We are all aware that we are having threats from the different Nonsense Organisation and we should reach the Airport atleast 1 hour before the depurture for the domestic flights, but the way a Mom was not allowed to reach to her 3 yr old kid in Hyderabad that too after doing the web checkin, is really not acceptable.

            I, personally, being the Sr Manager of an MNC travell through out the week, and several times I had boarder the flight reaching before 15-20 minutes before the Depurture as I had done the Web check in. I am not trying to proove that What I did was good and reasonable, but still the Flight Authorities should consider the requirement of their customer without hindering their work schedule.

            The Question lies:

            Do the Supervisor being kept to have a command on the ladies( Both the Internal and the External Customers) as the Supervisor was being found to find out the mistakes, rather solving any issues.He dissapeared in between for 15 minutes to enjoy the Tea break too.He also insisted to sell a fresh ticket of the said airline against a fresh payment- which would virtually proove his salesmanship to his Management.

            What is the use of Web checkin; She was carrying only a hand bag. Hence it would required hardly a 15 minutes to cross the Security line. Still she would have been boarded the flight before 25 minues of the depurture.

            Why do people travell through Air? Defenitely to save the time and meet the pace of Life/ Business. And that is why travellers avail the flight. Instead of enjoying the glamour of the Airport Air Conditioned Area, do the staff are being trained and briefed to meet the customer requirement and that is why they are being paid. They should measure their performance before speaking any of their customer, that too a lady in a rude way.

            Money Comes later for the customer but first for the Airlines, and that is why the Staff are being found treating and shouting to a lady by male staff that are generally found in the Fish Market Area of any slams or Rural Bus Station.

            Complained to the specified Airline/ Yatra.com, but heared prolonged music in caller tone and " Your call is Important to Us" nothing else.

            Either the Airlines authority should uplift their services at the Cost of huge Money or downlift the fares to Bus fares and treat the Travellers, so that we can also allow to slap those dragging down to the street without any hassele and handover to the concerened authorities.

              I booked spice jet flight from Mumbai to Chennai [ SG 206 ] on Friday 01-jul-11,the flight
              schedule time is 9.00pm,i reached the Mumbai airport at 8.20pm,due to heavy traffic reached the spice jet counter exactly at 8.25 pm, i was waiting in the que the ground staff in the counter was unnecessary talking to the passenger in front of me, i was the next person to be attended, after me asking its urgent, she told me use the next counter, when i went to the next counter it was 8.35pm,the counter staff told me it is not possible for her to give the boarding pass, for the reason all passenger have to be in the airport 45 mins before, she put me to her supervisor ground staff name - Aarthi, she without even listening to the situation she told me its not possible to board, requested her to help me and explained my situation, that i need to go to Chennai the same day, has i have my exams the next day morning, she was rude to the extreme and put me another staff name -Dhanachyan-duty manager explained the my situation he was not even bothered to listen to me, and so rudely said i have 200 passenger on board i have no time to speak to you and he told madam don’t waste our time and put drama here as we have lot of work, i told that i don’t have any luggage also only had my hand bag with me, both the staff are extremely ruthless and badly behaving told them i was 8.25 sharp in the counter, by the time the you argue plz try to help me in going, requested them and told them that aim new to Mumbai,i cant stay along in mumbai,she told to take the morning flight and asked me to pay extra ticket charges of Rs 8500,were in the my previous ticket cost was 4000 only, had no other go and i had to pay Rs 8500 for the morning flight, being a hospitality industry & providing a pathetic service & huge charges, is not acceptable, spice jet airlines is only money oriented and not service oriented, kindly ask there staff Aarthi & Dhanacheyan to learn was is called customer service. I being and educated women handle the situation, but if an uneducated women ends up in the same situation -late nite in Mumbai without knowing the language, if anything happens will they be responsible???.Need a solution for the above .

                I had booked my LTC tickets with your airlines under following details:
                1) Reservation number."H82BCW" for Jammu to Delhi on 31 MAY 2011 and from delhi to jammu on 6 JUNE 2011.
                2)Reservation number."A865LQ" from Delhi to Kolkata on 1 JUNE 2011 and from Kolkata to Delhi on 5 JUNE 2011.

                ON 5th of June 2011 my flight from Portblair to Kolkata "JETLITE" flight no. "S2 320" with tiocket no. "ETKT[protected]" was cancelled due to bad weather .
                In that situation i rung up your toll free no. throughout the day for extension of my connecting Spicejet flight from Kolkata to Delhi and from Delhi to Jammu .
                But there was no proper response and the statement again and again repeated was "my tickets are non refundable and non transferrable and for any change i have to contact [protected]-67"
                But these numbers did not responded .
                I again called up your customer care number and narrated the whole story once again , they told me this office is closed today and shall open on the next day i.e Monday at 10:00 am
                .
                I again tried to convince your staff at toll free number that by the time this office opens my both theflights would take off and prayed them to help me out by extension of dates of both the tickets .


                Some senior staff extended my Kolkata to Delhi tickets but refused to extend my second tickets which were from Delhi to Jammu which was very shocking to me.

                This high headedness of your customer care staff put me to a great financial loss and mental agony. I have to travel by bus from Delhi to Jammu for no fault on my part .

                Sir i would like to request you to investigate how your staff can expect me to catch your morning flight on 6 June by boarding me from Kolkata to Delhi flight at 5:40 pm on 6th of June 2011, if the same cannot happenwhy my tickets from Delhi to Jammu was not extended ? Now i request you to refund the cost of ticket from Delhi to Jammu at the earliest failing which i shall be constrained to go to consumer court for claim of financial loss and other damages .

                  I have booked ticket on make my trip ,its connecting flight but both flights are of different AIRLINES.My first flight was SPICE JET from Guwahati to Kolkata (14:30 PM Departure Schedule) and my Second flight was INDIGO from Kolkata to Hyderabad on the same day(16:50 PM Departure schedule).Due some reason my first flight got delayed 1 hr to its actual departure time and it reached kolkata 1 Hr delay to its actual arrival time due to which my second flight got missed . I have continously checking with Spice Jet for the actual time of arrival in kolkata and they assured me that i reach kolkata before my second flight departure i.e 16:00 Hrs.

                  When i asked for refund to both Airlines they refused to talk and they asked me to contact my travel agent Make My Trip for Refund Process .Now when i am calling in Make My trip they are not providing refund as they are saying it does'nt come under us ,its totally depended on Airlines but airlines are saying to contact Travel agent.

                  I am chasing Make My trip from last 5 days also discussed this problem with call Center supervisiors they accepted their mistake but they still not ready to do anything.

                  As a customer i booked my ticket in advance1 month before with total cost of Rs 5300 but on my journey day i have been went such kind of circumstances and i need to pay Rs 4535 Extra to complete my journey.Now i need my Extra expenses to be refund because i did'nt travel on second flight (Indigo Filght).

                    travelled by spice jet(sg-523 PNR:K9ZNDN),on 21/06/2011..at banglore airport luggage reciving time found out damage happend.due to dumping & throwing luggage and irresponsible handling...i think & suggest the company (spicejet)can write at the checking time that "they are not responsible for passenger luggage" .and keep on damage & irritate passenger..

                      Hello,

                      The flight SG-46 of Spicejet on 12th June'2011 from Kathmandu to Delhi to got cancelled. We understand we are flying through budget airlines but the alternative hotel stay provided late at night was well below anybodies standard.The area was unsecure and one of the Red Light area of Kathmandu.Later we come to know that your staff was staying in Hotel Crown Plaza one of the Five Star Hotel.In think for spicejet their customers are less educated or below standard as compare to their staff.How can budget airline staff can stay in five star & customer cannot???
                      The flight charges as compare to IT flights was just of Rs2000 difference.People were travel with their family and it was a horrible & nightmare for all o[censored]s.Hope these hotels were approved by your company and must be aware of the location and standard of the hotels provided for the passengers after cancellations.

                      Kindly clarify your stand for the same which was unexpectable and horrifying for all the passengers traveling.

                      My flight was on 11august, 2019 no. SG3218, from kolkata to Silchar, first of all the flight got delayed by 1.30 hrs and no information of it was to the passengers which created unnecessay confusion. Secondly, when I received my checked in luggage at Silchar airport there were many cuts and torn on it, when I tried to complaint about it, I couldn't find any staff of spicejet present over there. This type o[censored]nprofessionalism is very disappointing which force me to never travel with spicejet in future. I would like to claim for the loss incurred by me.

                        I was in flight number SG 528 on 13/06/ 2011 from Bangaluru to Kolkata. After boarding, at 9.55am the craft was taken away from the parking zone and the pilot announced that there was problem in the system. Then we were left there for about 2 hours without any feedback or help. The crew members were denying to give us any information. The A.C. was also not working. The temperature inside became very high. At 12.30pm we were freed from that aircraft and and one another craft took us to kolkata. We arrived there at 4.00pm. Meanwhile one most hopeless kind of sandwich was served to us. I lost all the trains and was forced to pas the night at Howrah station to reach my home.In this situation who will dare to fly with Spicejet in future?

                          hi,

                          i was onboard spicejet flight from guwahati to bangalore on 28th may 2011 and i was extremely shocked and appalled at the rude uncivilised manner of cabin crew boys (or shud i say men!) when i was trying to ask them something they had the audacity to sush me up in a tone i would never forget....i'm a person too...or did they forget that my ticket purchase too pays their salary...spicejet needs to look into their customer handling skills else there'l be none left 2 buy ur flight tickets at this rate....u can count on me never boarding a spicejet again...these so called cabin boys o[censored]rs are nothing but waiters high up in the air who are just overpaid for very little bus boy work they do!

                            i was given for a sbi spice jet credit card after payment of rs 2500 inr with which there was one voucher of spice jet given , entitling a free one way travel any sector valid for one year , terms and condition were fully understandable by me . there was a mention of the black out dates on which the travel will not be possible .now please let me draw your attention towards the fact that i was shocked when i tried to use that voucher for my planned travel in june i came to know that full two months ( may and june ) are black out by the spice jet and sbi instead of some days as in terms and conditions this amounts to cheating ( the fact that i have paid 2500 inr for this card )
                            now suppose that suddenly spicejet people decide that full 6 months are black out and then where does this validity of one year stand , it really puts the creditability on doubts i am very sure no private organisation can dare to do such a thing they definitely would have honored their words

I had booked a Spice jet ticket (A7G6EQ) from Guwahati to Chennai(via Kolkata) on 1st June 2011 and the flight departure time was 2.30 P.M. I reached the Airport at 1.35 PM and the baggage screening was done at the entrance and I went and stood in the queue of the Spice Jet counter. As there was heavy rush that time I had to stand at back of the queue. There were two queues and my queue was comparitively slow and I was made to stand in the slow queue for half an hour and when I reached the counter, the lady executive there told that I am late and the security check for this flight is closed and she did not issue me the Boarding Pass. I find this due to a very severe flaw in the operations at the spice jet counter at Guwahati Airport. First of all there was no body to guide the passengers from the slow and lethargic Baggage screening area . Once you reach the counter there is no one to assist you and no announcements being made.

                              After they lady denied me of the boarding pass, I requested her to kindly arrange a ticket for the very next flight to chennai so I was escorted to the ticket counter in the airport premises. There I was told by an executive that I can go by the same flight or the next flight if I pay an amount of Rs 1289 after discussing flight timings with a crew because the flight had not landed yet. (instead of saying No show to the passenger). He asked me to make the payment within one hour i.e, 3.30 PM. At 2.45 P.M I gave my debit card for payment of the extra amount , the lady staff at the ticket counter carelessly started to book a new ticket which costs Rs 13499. When I questioned she replied in a carefree manner that the computer is showing this amount. Then the earlier was called up on phone and was asked regarding this, she told me that it is not Rs 1289 instead it is Rs12899. I was running out time when all this miscommunications, misinterpretations, careless customer care was happening and finally I had to quit my journey and return back to my institute. When I asked about reimbursement money the customer care at Gurgaon told that you will be given only Rs 458. This sounds absurd and unjustified!!!!

                              I would like to make a strong request to your side to kindly look in to the matter and reimburse my money which I lost because of the negligence from your staff.

                                I booked spicejet flight tickets from Kolkata to Goa.Total amount Rs 47760 which I cancelled on 26.5.2011 due to personal reason.The telecaller informed me on 26th may that the ticket has been cancelled and money refunded which will reflect in account within 5 working days. On 1.6.2011 i checked with bank and found out that spicejet had not refunded my money.I spoke with spicejet telecaller Ms Pankhuri who informed me that due to human error it has not been refunded that day. When i asked her that i wanted to speak with the manager she told me no manager is free and not available and everybody is busy with their work and they cant speak.After repeated request Ms Deepa Chauhan one of their team leader came on line and told me that due to system error it was not done, though it was confirmed to me about refund.
                                can anybody inform spicejet that please do not fool customers.

The total cost of ticket is Rs. 6728/- ( 4 Person). Before 10 days of travelling spice jet has cancelled the flight. for that reason i have booked another ticket from chennai to Ahmedabad in indigo so the charge will come Rs. 21536/- ( Reservation Number HCK2DR). + Coimbature to chennai charge in Train Rs. 1850/-. So please refund my money from spice jet.

                                  I was supposed to take a flight from Mumbai to Delhi on August 6, 2009 at 5.50 am. I reached the airport at 5 am and got to know then that the flight has been cancelled. This was the first time we were informed about the cancellation. All the passengers were offered an option to take the flight at 8.20 am (via Ahmedabad) which reached Delhi at around 12.30 pm or the flight at 11.30 am.

                                  All this was not professional and not expected from airline companies. Since time is essence in this business, it was really bad on their part to do this.

                                  Further, my argument is if the airline company can charge a fee of Rs 750 per ticket on cancellation / modifying the ticket, why ant they liable to pay to the customers also if they have to cancel thier flights. I guess the aviation ministry should seriously consider this so as to avoid any such events and compensate the traveller adequately.

                                  The entire trip was pathetic as i had got up at 4 am and finally reached home at around 2 pm (for a trip from Mumbai to Delhi).

                                  Yes, Spice Jet cancels flights and do not take customer needs and urgency into consideration. If they charge 750.00 when customers cancel and do not refund the amount, rather keep it as 'credit', why not refund the amount + 750.00 when they cancel.

                                  BTW, customer service is pathetic as well.
                                  My spicejet booking for 16th Jan, 2015 got cancelled due to operational reasons and they provided the two `ever busy` contact number to be contacted in case we need re-bookings which as has been aforementioned are always busy. Once it got connected then these people put me on hold for like 5 min and no fruitful results could be visualised. They should atleast reschedule the same flight on that very day if it is merely due to foggy conditions prevailing in Delhi but cancelling it and running away from responsibility is uncalled for. This is damn irresponsible on their part to treat consumers like trash and here we just recieve a message saying we regret the inconvinience. It is very urgent for me to be there in Delhi on the aforementioned date and I would therefor request the authorities concerned to look into the matter and fix it, I have not recieved the refund and even when i recieve it, its going to be futile as I`ll have to book an air ticket at a much higher price which does not justify my needs. I am a law student and I know what measures to take in case this complaint is not taken seriously! My PNR is FB582K. The message that I recieved is attached.

                                      We started to try and discuss it with them but their repsonse was that the item ws out of guarantee and as there was no EW, the repair would have to be paid for.
                                      We threatened legal action and were ignored.                                       They offered us £220 plus the cost of the summons. We refused and two days before the hearing we received an offer of the full amount which we accepted.
