I have placed an order on 5th January 2022 at 09:00 pm. I have paid Rs. 858/- for my order. I have received a call from delivery boy at 09:38 pm. While receiving the call, call was disconnected. Then I tried to call him back so many times but failed. After repeated calling him, he had picked up my call luckily and told me that he will deliver my order within 10 minutes. But while delivering the order, he got the cancellation message from swiggy, which was also received my me. The message was that "Your Swiggy order #[protected] has been cancelled since you failed to respond to our delivery executive's calls. You will be charged Rs 858.0 as cancellation fee". I was surprised to see that message. I called the delivery boy about the same, he refused to deliver the order and advise me to contact Swiggy for delivery. Then I chat with Mr. Rishi and told him all the problems I faced. But neither my order was delivered nor the deducted amount was refunded in my account. The whole incident had spoiled my night and was nightmare to me.
I asked from Swiggy that why should I not move to consumer court for compensation for their unprofessional behaviour. Due to that incident, I could not slept whole night and felt very bad.
I request to compensate me for yesterday incident and send me appology letter for this.
