I am writing to raise a complaint against Swiggy regarding an incident that occurred during my recent food order. On August 16th, I placed an order #[protected]. on Swiggy. However, for some reason, I had to cancel the order before making the payment.
To my surprise, I received a notification later stating that I had a pending payment of Rs 407 for the same order. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue by contacting Swiggy's customer support team and sending emails to them requesting a refund, I did not receive a satisfactory response.
In addition, I did not receive any notification regarding the cash on delivery option being used or that the order would be processed, despite me cancelling it initially.
I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided by Swiggy in this matter. As a consumer, I believe that I have the right to know about any pending charges that I may have to pay for my order. Therefore, I request a refund of the amount that was charged from me without my knowledge or consent.
I urge you to take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future, and that Swiggy takes steps to improve its customer support system.
