Want to highlight the responsibility that swiggy takes in handling customer food and packaging. I ordered paneer tikka from “gupta chat corner” (Order id #[protected]) but observed packaging issue. The package was not properly sealed. The amazing part was that the delivery person marked order as delivered 2 minutes before the delivery. I raised spoilage issue with swiggy and ask for a replacement. Again, the delivery executive marked the order as delivered before delivering the package. The worst part here was the packaging of the order was even worse than the previous one (Order id #[protected]). When i called the customer executive, i was shocked to hear their statement. They told that swiggy does not take responsibility of the packaging as this is packed by the restaurant. Their customer executive even told that the packaging looks perfect for the 1st order. I just want to understand why they even provide option of raising complaint against “packaging or spillage issue” if they do not take the responsibility? Also when asked for a refund they just gave an option of only rs 50 refund. This highlight the effectiveness of their policies for the customers. I want to highlight the company’s ignorance and issue handling capabilities…… really disappointed.
