On 18th August 2021, my account got debited through UPI to swiggy bank account ( as shown in my bank statements) but app showed payment failed, I paid again and immediately texted in the help thread on their app that my account got debited twice, please refund to which they replied that it'll be refunded and they've initiated that and in max 5-7 days it will show, I didn't got refunded, I asked again on the 8th and 10th day, they said the same thing again that they've re initiated the refund and it'll show in 48 hours time, after almost 2 weeks on the 12th day, they are now saying that they didn't capture the payment at all and won't be refunding me plus they are asking for my official bank statements to show proof for this which is against their own company guidelines on their website. I've complained on twitter too and despite reading my query that it's been 12 days, they've said the same thing that it'll be refunded in 5-7 days, it has already been double that days and I still haven't got my money. Why did they promise me refunds 3 times when they didn't capture the payment ( which it did as seen in my bank statements ). This is a clear case of fraud Was this information helpful? |
