On 30th October I placed an Order in Swiggy. Order#[protected]
On delivery I noticed that one of the item was incorrect. I ordered Mater Paneer but instead I was sent Matar Rice. I reached out to Swiggy Customer service. The person (Ashish) who attended my call said there is no option for replacing my order with the correct one. Also he mentioned that I would be receiving Refund Amount of 125 INR for the missing item (Matar Paneer) which had a price tag of 154 INR.
I told that he should either replace my order quickly or provide a full refund since the order delivered (even though only 1 out of 3 Items was incorrect) caused unbalance family lunch. We have excess of rice and less curry to consume.
The Customer Service Person (Ashish) simply kept repeating - 'Sorry for your inconvenience', 'We regret the inconvenience', 'I don't have the authority to decide further'. He says I have only one option - To take what ever refund amount he was providing which was totally unfair. He did even provide information on how to escalate this to his superior. He simply did the refund of 125 INR and kept the call aside.
My desirable resolution - Full Order amount should be refunded.
I am hoping the concerned party will be reprimanded to ensure justice prevails.
