[Resolved]  Swiggy — Not refunding money, irresponsible behaviour, unrealistic approach.

I had ordered food from Restaurant The chef located in katni MP, through swiggy, First i emphasised that quantity is too less as per the price, as it was 1.75 pieces of potato for Rs. 255 and it was no where mentioned in in the menu that 2 pieces will be provided then I contacted swiggy to take this order back and give the money back so they insisted that kindly please coupon of Rs 39 then i tried to touch the food but it was completely raw and uncooked then i raised another issue in regards to uncooked food but still they said kindly please coupon of Rs. 94, then i called them but they did not have curtesy to refund my money back but insisted me to take the coupon of Rs. 188 that i have paid as i got the discount for being first time customer. MY WHOLE CONCERN IS that i ordered the food late night as it was my only hope to eat that but by the time food reached me and i was on call with swiggy it got almost 11:40 PM, till then no restaurant was taking order, I am going to be hungry for rest of the night just because of swiggy as ih had an option to refund my money at once so that i would have ordered from another place or they could haves sent me a fresh dish. but they simply refused to refund and sent me a fresh food, but only after fighting for one and a half hour they decided to give me coupon of Rs 188 but till that it was on no use for me as every restaurant was closed till than so i wanted full refund on my account, but they refused, i have not accepted any offer from them till now. I told them i will never use swiggy again thats why your any type of coupon would not be of any help i had this simple reason for not accepting the coupon but they HAD NO REASON TO WHY THEY WERE DENYING TO REFUND MY MONEY.

this was my first time experience with swiggy and just look at the way they treat there new customers, How they would be dealing with there valuable customers, Swiggy simply made beg for my money again and again as i was was there money from them. this needs to be stoped once for all, if the food quantity is not upto the mark half should be immediately and food is uncooked full refund should be given and if food is stale double the amount should be paid to the customer.

How simple these things are you took money from my bank account with which i could have bought many thing like
1. Juice
2. Maggie
3. Bread
4. ready to eat food
5. i could have ordered from different site like zomato etc
but my money is stuck now if they are giving me coupon which i am not accepting would only be available for me to shop from swiggy which i dont to use.

they have refrained me from ordering another food by just keeping my busy with there unrealistic and pathetic behaviour

This is my fundamental right to choose the place from where i want to eat, they are restricting my right by compelling me to eat through them which i dont want they are so unprofessional but still there scheme is to make me order through them only.

This brings me to say this is clear an offence of criminal breach of trust, punishable under section 406 of IPC as i had entrusted my money with swiggy to get me food i have ordered but he failed to get me the same quality and quantity so i declined to accept and ask for my money back but they refused.

I sincerely request you sir kindly please stop this vicious practice of swiggy and ORDER SWIGGY TO DO THESE THING FOR ME
1. REFUND OF RS 188.
2. COMPENSATION FOR MAKING SLEEP HUNGRY
3. BECAUSE OF THIS MY BLOOD PRESSURE WENT HIGH BY THE BEHAVIOURS AGENTS.
4. COMPENSATION FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT
5. FEES FOR WRITING THIS LETTER
4. IF THE IS NOT REFUND WITH 7 DAYS FROM RECEIVING THIS NOTICE 9% INTEREST SHALL BE APPLICABLE ON ALL THE ABOVE AMOUNTS.
