Yesterday night at 10.59 pm I had ordered 3 items from zaitoon restaurant, kodihalli, bengaluru and I prepaid the amount . At around 11.40 i got my order. But i observed that 1 item was missing in the package which was mini falooda which was Rs.175. And so I immediately reported it to the customer care and got connected to the person called Muheet. And i had informed him about the same and had asked him to either deliver the missing item which I had ordered or else to atleast refund me with the item which I had spent for it. And then he came up with the solution of Rs.42/- coupon for Rs. 175 item. And how this works? I don’t even understand in what basis he thought this solution was ok. And why should I be charged extra for the missing item? This was clearly the mistake from swiggy’s end. Why didn’t they check before delivering the item? So i asked Muheet to connect me to any of his supervisor so that I could expect some sensible solution from swiggy’s end. Kabir from escalation desk was connected, this guy is unfit for even handling a customer and that to being the supervisor he did not care about the customer nor he was even interested in solving this issue and came up with again Rs.42 coupon solution again which was already suggested by his junior and he even made me wait to come up with this solution like seriously.It does not make any sense. It was straight up looting a customer from swiggy. If swiggy as a brand trains their supervisor or their employees with this “I don’t care” attitude its really disappointing it was like either take the Rs.42 coupon or else just get lost. Swiggy better train their employees with basic manners. This was my worst experience ever. I had never faced such issue and I’m not going to use swiggy nor would suggest anyone to use this app for the same.
